The methodological problem on Islamic Religion Education learning (PAI) at schools is still laid on direct learning so that it is hard to build students’ critical thinking. Constructivistik approach using cooperative learning, problem solving, and inquiry model can be used on PAI learning in terms of constructing students’ thinking in order that students are openly able to act and behave to realities taking place in society. This study aims to ascertain the perceptions of the alumni of the graduate program about the opening of the study program of Islamic studies at the PhD degree at PPs UIN Raden Fatah. Through need analaysis, any some positive response and perception from the alumni of magister regarding the plan to open the study program in PhD degree. Most alumni consider it very urgent to open the Islamic studies program. Some of the weaknesses and challenges faced by graduate program can be overcome given the factors of experience and adequate carrying capacity. Some aspects related to input, process, facilities, and resources owned by this program need to be improved in terms of existence and academic services. Multicultural Education In Curriculum Design and Islamic Religious Learning. Multicultural education is a contemporary educational paradigm that needs to be responded by Islamic educational institutions. As a religion, Islam has a very strong root of multicultural education. In the context of Indonesia, the concept of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is a collective agreement on the values of universal unity in diversity living with the values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin that need to be developed through practices and traditions of Islamic education in Indonesia. Integrative design of curriculum and learning becomes one of the important alternatives considered as an effort to instill multicultural values through the school system. The open attitude of the teachers, the availability of teaching materials, the supportive school environment, and the pattern of teacher training with multicultural insight become the supporting factors of effective implementation of multicultural education in schools and madrasah

THE TRANSFORMATION OF MULTIMEDIA-BASED CHARACTER EDUCATION LEARNING IN THE ERA OF SOCIETY 5.0

The purpose of this study was to determine the Learning Transformation of Multimedia-Based Character Education in the Era of Society 5.0 and what the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of Character Education Learning Transformation in the Era of Society 5.0 at Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School Palembang, This research includes using qualitative research methods. Data was obtained using interviews and observations. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and leveraging. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 takes place through the stages of habituation of students to behave well in the teaching and learning process using multimedia, practicing teacher advice, modeling good behavior exemplified by the teacher, and obeying the rules of the teacher in learning using multimedia. Supporting factors for implementing multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 are school support, teacher support, students' willingness to learn using multimedia, and the existence of multimedia technology that students are familiar with. The inhibiting factors are the existence of bad people who deliberately damage the morals of the younger generation through bad applications, a less supportive environment, and the development of technology and communication that is growing rapidly

PEMIKIRAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PERSPEKTIF JALALUDDIN

This study aims to analyze the construction of Islamic education thought in Jalaluddin's perspective and the relevance of Jalaluddin's educational thought in the constellation of modern or global education. This type of research is library research. The approach used is descriptive analytical. The primary sources used are books and information in the field related to Jalaluddin's Islamic education thought. While secondary sources are reports, books, notes that are closely related to the problem under study. Data collection methods through documentation. The data analysis technique uses document analysis method or content analysis. This study found that the thought of Islamic education in Jalaluddin's perspective includes 1) the new direction of Islamic education, education should be directed to form humans into insan kamil; 2) Islamic education thinking, one of which is the democratization of Islamic education with the ultimate goal of forming a democratic, clean, moral and moral Indonesian society and adhering to the value of civilization, 3) renewal of Islamic education, in Islamic education it is necessary to develop a dual approach strategy with the aim of combining short-term situational approaches with long-term conceptual approaches; and 4) character education, four joints of good character based on the characters of patience, self-respect, courage, and justice

THE IMPACT OF USING TIKTOK MEDIA ON THE CHARACTER OF CARING AND RESPONSIBILITY IN STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF SHARIA AND LAW, RADEN FATAH STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY PALEMBANG

The purpose of this study was to analyse the use of Tik Tok social media on students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. To analyse the character of caring and responsibility and to analyse the impact of using Tik Tok social media on character in students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data obtained using interviews, observation and documentation were analysed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Tik Tok application at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang is quite large, where the users are students. The use of the Tik Tok application as a medium to get entertainment. The impact of using the Tik Tok application on its use on religious behavior is seen from several behaviours, namely: behaviour towards God, Parents, Self, and behaviour towards the community environment where there isnoso negative and significant effects that can change student behaviour. Students still take all actions in accordance with what is taught by parents and religion. Through the Faculty of Shari'ah and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, it is hoped that it will be able to become a forum for creativity and maintain the behaviour of adolescents from the negative impact of social media

MODEL PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE PADA MAHASISWA TARBIYAH DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN TINGGI AGAMA ISLAM

One of the learning problems faced by Islamic education program (PAI) in the Institute of Islamic Studies (PTAI) in South Sumatra are still not fulfilled the quality of the process and learning result. In terms of process, the weakness of the lecturers’ creativity in developing learning strategies that engage students, while in term of the learning results is that the lack of students’ understanding of the aspects of content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge on Islamic education learning. This study aims to produce and develop a product in the form of learning model in order to improve the students’ pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) ability. To achieve the research objectives, this study uses research and development (R&D) approach. This research method broadly includes: 1). preliminary study; 2). planning; 3). model development; 4). trial learning model; 5). Test of validation; and 6). reporting phases. The subjects of research are the lecturers and students of the fifth semester of the PAI program in the PTAI in South Sumatra, that is Prodi PAI of the Tarbiyah Faculty of State Institute of Islamic Studies-Raden Fatah Palembang, Prodi PAI of Islamic College of Tarbiyah al-Qur'an al-Ittifaqiyah in Inderalaya Ogan Ilir, Prodi PAI of Islamic College of Rahmaniyah Sekayu in Banyuasin. Instruments that are used in collecting data are using questionnaires, observation, documentation, and test. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, Split-half method, Spearman-Brown, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Levene test and t-test. The results showed that the developed learning model is able to improve the process and learning result of PAI in terms of students’ understanding of content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge (PCK). In context of the learning process is able to increase the enthusiasm and students’ learning spirit, improve the lecturers’ performance, practicing self-discipline and cooperation among students, and the growing sense of self- responsibility in students. In context of learning result, based on the validation test results proved that the achievement of learning result (posttest) in the experimental group is higher than the achievement of control class group’ learning result (posttest), in the Prodi PAI categorized Very Good, Good, and Good Enough. The findings of this study indicate that the developed learning model is effective for improving the learning ability of students’ PCK ability in learning PAI. Theoretically, the results of this research implicates: 1). Students at the same time are possible to understand aspects of content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge; 2). Lecturer required being creative in developing the learning process in the classroom; and 3). Students must have high level of participation in the classroom

MODEL KNOW-WANT-LEARN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

The learning of Islamic Religious Education in university classes within PTKI requires innovation and development through a varied model or learning strategy. One of the effective learning models in improving students' skills in understanding the teaching materials is through the K-W-L strategy. This strategy is commonly developed in learning that aims to overcome the difficult problem of understanding the teaching materials that are often used in text learning or script study. PERAN PERGURUAN TINGGI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN PENDIDIKAN DI ERA INDUSTRI 4.0

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan di era industri 4.0. Perguruan tinggi memiliki peran central dalam perkembangan pendidikan, agar dapat membentuk mahasiswa dalam membentuk pribadi yang unggul, inovatif, kreatif dan kompetitif. Perkembanga industri 4.0 merubah paradigma dalam melaksanakan pendidikan. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat prodi Pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) strata tiga (S-3) pascasarjana UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, kegiatan ini merupakan kolaborasi kemitraan sesama perguruan tinggi di STIQ An-nur Lempuing. Acara dilaksanakan secara luring berupa seminar yang dihadiri oleh mahasiswa strata satu (S-1). Adapun peran penting perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan di era industri 4.0 saat ini yakni: peran perguruan tinggi dalam pembelajaran, sebagai pencetak ilmuan, menumbuhkan sikap kejujuran, sebagai pembentuk pribadi disiplin, menumbuhkan etos kerja, menumbuhkan sikap kepemimpinan, membentuk kepribadian kompetitif, membentuk budaya hidup teratur dan menawarkan ide. Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat menjadi tantangan bagi kalangan akademik, untuk dapat menumbuhkan semangat berinovasi untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan di era industry 4.0 yang menghantarkan setiap orang akrab terhadap teknologi dalam aktivitas pembelajaran. CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN PALEMBANG CITY

This study aims to explain the pattern of character education during the covid-19 pandemic and see the learn from home policy on weakening the character of elementary school students in Palembang City. The outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic has forced schools to change the tradition and model of implementing education. Basic education institutions must adapt quickly to the covid-19 emergency. The learn from home (LFH) policy has formed a new habit where teachers must use a full online learning system. The implementation of online learning has had an impact on weakening student character. This phenomenological qualitative research succeeded in finding the fact that the character education curriculum development model in elementary schools during the covid-19 pandemic tends to be unclear. The obstacles experienced by teachers in educating character during the Covid-19 pandemic include the absence of school management support in the form of support for learning tools and the weak understanding of teachers and internet-based learning models. The weakening of character in elementary school students is quite serious as a result of the LFH learning system in the form of the emergence of bad attitudes such as annoyance, sadness, anger, low self-esteem, lack of enthusiasm, lack of discipline as a result of the ineffectiveness of the online learning system
