    Статья посвящена анализу поэтики образа и пространства в новелле И. А. Бунина «Сны Чанга». Отмечается, что в рассказе оригинальность хронотопа состоит в том, что он представлен в свете повседневной реальности и вечных вопросов мироздания одновременно. Собака Чанг проживает свою недолгую жизнь и видит мир вместе со своим хозяином-капитаном и другими людьми, но мир представлен как Космос именно потому, что Чанг не наделен разумом и не дифференцирует впечатления жизни линейно, хронологически. Так оправдывается исходный тезис: каждый из живших на Земле заслуживает того, чтобы о нем говорить.The article is devoted to the analysis of image and space’s poetics in the novel by I. A. Bunin “Chung’s Dreams”. It is noted that the originality of the chronotope in the story is that it is presented in the light of everyday reality and eternal questions of the universe simultaneously. The dog named Chang lives its short life and sees the world together with its master-captain and other people, but the world is presented as a Space precisely because Chang is not endowed with intelligence and does not differentiate the impressions of life linearly, chronologically. This justifies the original thesis: each of those who lives on Earth deserves to talk about him

    Peculiarities of R. Frost’s Poetry Translation into Russian (by Example of the Poem “Bureaucratic”)

    Relevant problem of the adequacy of poetic translation is considered. The article contains analytical notes on the translation of the poem “Departamental” by R. Frost made by Andrey Sergeyev. The authors give their observations, comparing the original and translated variants of the poem. It is noted that A. Sergeev reaches adequacy of translation keeping the features of the R. Frost’s choice of words. The article focuses on the findings of an interpreter both in relation to certain words and to creation of artistic imagery.Рассматривается один из актуальных вопросов достижения адекватности стихотворного перевода. В данной статье содержатся аналитические заметки о переводе стихотворения Р. Фроста «Departamental» («Бюрократично»), сделанном Андреем Сергеевым. Авторы статьи приводят свои наблюдения, сопоставляя оригинальный и переводной варианты стихотворения. Отмечается, что А. Сергеев достигает адекватности перевода, сохраняя особенности выбора слов Р. Фроста

    Рассматриваются актуальные вопросы роли слова-концепта «лев» в новелле Э. Хемингуэя «Недолгое счастье Фрэнсиса Макомбера». Представлены результаты сопоставительного анализа с двух точек зрения: непосредственно сюжетной и психологической. Указывается, что такой подход помогает понять, как образное наполнение слова постепенно как бы «заполняет» все содержание новеллы, постепенно поднимаясь до символа.This article deals with the current issues of the role of the word-concept “lion” in the novel “The Short-lived happiness of Francis Macomber” by E. Hemingway. The results of a comparative analysis from two points of view: the direct plot and psychological have been presented.     The potential risks and impact of the start of the 2015–2016 influenza season in the WHO European Region: a rapid risk assessment

    Background: Countries in the World Health Organization (WHO) European Region are reporting more severe influenza activity in the 2015–2016 season compared to previous seasons. Objectives: To conduct a rapid risk assessment to provide interim information on the severity of the current influenza season. Methods: Using the WHO manual for rapid risk assessment of acute public health events and surveillance data available from Flu News Europe, an assessment of the current influenza season from 28 September 2015 (week 40/2015) up to 31 January 2016 (week 04/2016) was made compared with the four previous seasons. Results: The current influenza season started around week 51/2015 with higher influenza activity reported in Eastern Europe compared to Western Europe. There is a strong predominance of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 compared to previous seasons, but the virus is antigenically similar to the strain included in the seasonal influenza vaccine. Compared to the 2014/2015 season, there was a rapid increase in the number of severe cases in Eastern European countries with the majority of such cases occurring among adults aged < 65 years. Conclusions: The current influenza season is characterized by an early start in Eastern European countries, with indications of a more severe season. Currently circulating influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses are antigenically similar to those included in the seasonal influenza vaccine, and the vaccine is expected to be effective. Authorities should provide information to the public and health providers about the current influenza season, recommendations for the treatment of severe disease and effective public health measures to prevent influenza transmission

    Nanoporous Pt and Ru catalysts by chemical dealloying of Pt-Al and Ru-Al alloys for ultrafast hydrogen generation

    Novel nanoporous catalysts from selective dissolution of alloys have been prepared for fast hydrogen generation from chemical hydrides. Pt and Ru have been used as precious metals in the alloys, while the nonprecious metal is Al. The alloy composition has been arranged by sputtering power of Al, which is varied from 200 to 400 W for Pt-Al and Ru-Al alloys. The influence of particle size on the sputtering power of Al has been demonstrated. The particle size of the Pt nanoparticle decreases from 900 to 90 nm when the sputtering power of Al is increased from 200 to 400 W. However, the particle size of the Ru nanoparticle decreased from 610 to 55 with the same increase in Al sputtering power. The hydrolysis reaction rate of NaBH4 scales with the sputtering power of Al and has been raised from 20 to 90 L min−1gcatalyst−1 for Pt while it increases from 23 to 110 L min−1gcatalyst−1 for Ru. The BET analysis has demonstrated that the measured surface areas of the Pt and Ru nanoparticles are approximately 55.5 and 151 m2 g−1, respectively. Joint like morphology providing the porous structure has been clearly concluded by TEM analysis. The average pore sizes are 1 and 10 nm for the Ru and Pt nanoparticles, respectively. In this study, fast hydrogen generation with lower activation energies of 31.7 and 32.1 kJ mol−1 has been achieved for the Pt and Ru nanoparticles, respectively. The critical parameters demonstrating the high catalytic activity in the hydrolysis reaction of NaBH4 are reported for the catalysts developed by the dealloying process

    The frequency and voltage dependent electrical characteristics of Al-TiW-Pd2Si/n-Si structure using I-V, C-V and G/omega-V measurements

    WOS: 000253030300020The forward and reverse bias capacitance-voltage (C V) and conductance-voltage (G/w-V) characteristics of Al-TiW-Pd2Si/n-Si structures have been investigated over a wide frequency range of 5 kHz-5 MHz. These measurements allow to us the determination of the interface states density (N-ss) and series resistance (R-s) distribution profile. The effect of R-s on C and G is found noticeable at high frequencies. The C-V-f and G/w-V-f characteristics of studied structures show fairly large frequency dispersion especially at low frequencies due to N-ss in equilibrium with the semiconductor. The N-ss profile was obtained both forward bias current-voltage (I-V) characteristics by using into account the bias dependent of the ideality factor and effective barrier height (Phi(e)) and low frequency (C-LF)-high frequency method. The plot of series resistance vs. voltage for the low frequencies gives a peak, decreasing with increasing frequencies. The frequency dependent C-V and G/w-V characteristics confirm that the R, and N-ss of the Al-TiW-Pd2Si/n-Si structures are important parameters that strongly influence the electric parameters in device.
