    The word of mining is like two sides of a coin that can not be separated and it always be side by side. In a traditional activity diamond mine in the Cempakaof South Kalimantan is mostly done by individuals, its not only have a positive impact to the surrounding society, especially the impact of economic and welfare society but it has a negative impact too on an environment, especially after mine. The method of the research is used empirical legal research methods. The use of the research method is not merely analyze the law as a series of norms or rules of act associated with the act of vigilantism and the legal process, but need analyze how the law has a positive influence ofthe people's life. Such the legal research, it canbe called as juridical sociological research methods. A traditional mining activity carried out by a group of people or individual needs serious attention, especially in terms of the protection of the environment. Policies regarding mining arenot only the authority of the central government.In this case the autonomous regions have the authority to regulate, so the damage can be prevented as early as possible

    Tc-99m NIDP and Tc-99m HMPAO labelled leukocyte scans in tuberculous spondylitis

    A study was undertaken to assess the pattern of uptake on bone and labelled leukocyte scans in tuberculous spondylitis. Nine consecutive newly diagnosed cases were studied with Tc-99m MDP bone scans and Tc-99m HMPAO labelled leukocyte scans.The patients had basic laboratory investigations, plain chest and spine radiographs and computed tomography of the spine. Static images of bone scans were acquired at 3 hours and labelled leukocyte scans were acquired at 1,3 and 24 hours post-injection. A total of 11 spinal lesions were detected. Six bone scans were done demonstrating eight lesions and all showed abnormally increased activity.Labelled leukocyte scans were done in eight patients involving ten lesions and all except one showed photopaenic defects at the regions of interest.Both bone scan and leukocyte scan provided important information about the extent of the lesions and the combination of their pattern of uptake helped in the diagnosis of tuberculous spondylitis

    VGDRA: A Virtual Grid-Based Dynamic Routes Adjustment Scheme for Mobile Sink-Based Wireless Sensor Networks

    In wireless sensor networks, exploiting the sink mobility has been considered as a good strategy to balance the nodes energy dissipation. Despite its numerous advantages, the data dissemination to the mobile sink is a challenging task for the resource constrained sensor nodes due to the dynamic network topology caused by the sink mobility. For efficient data delivery, nodes need to reconstruct their routes toward the latest location of the mobile sink, which undermines the energy conservation goal. In this paper, we present a virtual gridbased dynamic routes adjustment (VGDRA) scheme that aims to minimize the routes reconstruction cost of the sensor nodes while maintaining nearly optimal routes to the latest location of the mobile sink. We propose a set of communication rules that governs the routes reconstruction process thereby requiring only a limited number of nodes to readjust their data delivery routes toward the mobile sink. Simulation results demonstrate reduced routes reconstruction cost and improved network lifetime of the VGDRA scheme when compared with existing work

    Application of a hybrid of least square support vector machine and artificial bee colony for building load forecasting

    Accurate load forecasting is an important element for proper planning and management of electricity production. Although load forecasting has been an important area of research, methods for accurate load forecasting is still scarce in the literature. This paper presents a study on a hybrid load forecasting method that combines the Least Square Support Vector Machine (LSSVM) and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) methods for building load forecasting. The performance of the LSSVM-ABC hybrid method was compared to the LSSVM method in building load forecasting problems and the results has shown that the hybrid method is able to substantially improve the load forecasting ability of the LSSVM method

    Milled Iraqi Phoenix Dactylifera Date Palm Pruning Woods Lignin Qualitative and Quantitative Determination

    This study aimed to find analytical data base for Iraqi phoenix date palm pruning woods. Lignin has been extracted for five  types of Iraqi date palm using Klason lignin method. Weight of extracted lignin ranged from ( 0.350 g – 0.698 g), and lignin % ranged from (17.5 – 34.9). (waxes, oils, resin, and proteins of wood gums) % ranged from (22.5 – 44.5). FT– IR Characterization showed that the (-OH) phenolic dis appear in all studied lignin samples, and the (4-O-5 inter monomeric lignin linkage) showed strong intensity peaks for Khadrawi, and Jamal AL-Deen samples, and moderate  intensities for Maktom, Barhi at, and Fahal. Also (DODO inter monomeric lignin linkage) showed strong intensity peaks for all studied samples. UV – Vis. Characterization showed that the lowest absorption maximum (254 nm) corresponds to Fahal lignin sample, While the highest absorption maximum (275 nm) corresponds to Jamal AL-Deen lignin sample.     IMPLEMENTATION OF CHORDAL RING NETWORK TOPOLOGY TO ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OF WIRELESS BROADBAND NETWORK

    The expansion of networks involved higher jump on the users utilizing the networks resources, which may require extra higher bandwidth. Due to the development of technology especially those folded under the Internet of Things (IoT), the new demand of higher data rate is been witnesses among the users. In order to feed the demand of users with high data rate, broadband networks are required where high data rate can be ensured for each user. Broadband networks can be established using optical network that carries the data through wide broadband. Areas such as rural and forests sides which are witnessing plenty of natural obstacles such as mountains, trees, seas, etc. are forming big challenge for propagating a cable (wire) or optical network. Due to the limitations of the wire network, World Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) technology has been introduced as substitution for the broadband network. Such kind of alternative can be deployed through any geographical area without concerning on the wire paths. WiMAX preserved large coverage area and hence it may not suffer from the signal hand-off as in the case of another wireless network. In this project, Chordal Ring network topology is implemented to enhance the performance of wireless broadband network. With different routing protocols such as Destination Sequenced Distance Vector Protocol (DSDV) and Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV), the network performance was examined for various Chordal Ring degree (e.g. fourth degree and fifth degree). Performance metrics such as number of transmitted packets, number of received packers, delivered packet rate (PDR), total number of drop packers (DP) and average queuing delay (been measured).
