UJI EFEK EKSTRAK ETANOL KULIT TERUNG UNGGU (Solanum melongena L.) TERHADAP KADAR GULA DARAH PADA TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR WISTAR (Rattus norvegicus)

This study aimed to determine the effect of ethanol extract eggplant rind (SolanummelongenaL.) on blood sugar levels in white male wistar induced by sucrose. Extraction is done bymaceration with 95% ethanol. The subject of the experiment were 15 white male wistarwhich were divided into 3 (three) groups namely positive control group using metformin 9mg/Kg body weight, negative control group using CMC 1% and treatment group with thedose of 0,02 g/200 g body weight, 0,01 g/200 g body weight and 0,1 g/200 g body weight.The data is processed using ANOVA and LSD test to compare between the positive controlgroup, negative control group, and treatment group. The analysis revealed a significantdifference between negative control group and treatment group, negative control group andpositive control group, but did not show a significant difference between positive controlgroup and treatment group.Key words : Solanummelongena L., Eggplant Rind, Blood Sugar Level, Sucros

Exploring the Nexus between the Absorptive Capacity, Corporate Sustainability, Supply Chain Agility and Manufacturing Firm Performance

The study has intended to examine the absorptive capacity on the firm performance of the Indonesian firms. The study has also examined the mediating effect of SC agility in the relationship between the absorptive capacity and the firm performance. Lastly, the study has examined the mediating role of corporate sustainability in the relationship between the absorptive capacity and the firm performance. The data is collected from the middle managers of the mining firms in Indonesia. the authors have employed the convenient sampling. The authors have distributed in total the  320 questionnaires. The response rate of the current study is 67 percent. The influence of SC agility as a mediator has been analyzed between absorptive capacity and performance of the firm. It was found by the study that SC agility fully mediates the relation between absorptive capacity and performance of the firm. The literature on competitiveness of SC has been improved by adding empirical evidence. Moreover, there is need to leverage both absorptive capacity and SC agility to improve the performance of a firm. It has been suggested by results that superior performance could be achieved transformation of absorptive capacity through SC agility. PARTISIPASI POLITIK MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMILIHAN UMUM TAHUN 2019 DI KECAMATAN TAHUNA KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN SANGIHE

Pelaksanaan pemilihan umum (Pemilu) menjadi indikator dalam sistem demokrasi karena rakyat dapat berpartisipasi dalam menentukan pilihan politiknya terhadap pemerintahan dan negaranya. Melalui pemilu rakyat bisa memilih para wakilnya untuk duduk dalam parlemen maupun struktur pemerintahan. Dalam sejarah perjalanan bangsa Indonesia pemilu menjadi upaya nyata dalam mewujudkan tegaknya demokrasi dan merealisasikan kedaulatan rakyat dengan prinsip jujur dan adil (jurdil) serta langsung, umum, bebas dan rahasia (luber). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam Pemilihan Umum tahun 2019 di Kecamatan Tahuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif kualitatif dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat untuk menjadi anggota partai politik di Kecamatan Tahuna merupakan kesadaran dan keinginan bagian masyarakat saja karena tidak semua berminat untuk menjadi anggota partai, hal ini karena menurut masyarakat tidak terlalu penting untuk menjadi anggota partai politik namun tetap menjadi simpatisan pada partai tertentu. Karena yang terpenting bagi masyarakat adalah memilih pemimpin sesuai dengan hati nurani mereka masing-masing.Kata Kunci : Partisipasi Politik, Masyarakat, Pemilihan Umum

Restrictions on Movement to and from Uusimaa Region as a Temporary Derogation From Fundamental Rights Under Section 23 of the Constitution

Section 23 of the Constitution of Finland allows temporary derogations from fundamental rights during a state of emergency. This article examines whether the restrictions of movement between Uusimaa region and the rest of Finland during the spring 2020 Covid-19 crisis can be considered derogations under Section 23 of the Constitution, as the Constitutional Law Committee did. The question is twofold: did the restrictions exceed the boundaries of ordinary limitations to fundamental rights, namely the inviolability of the core content and the prohibition of exceptional and nonspecific measures, and, if the answer is positive, did they fulfil the conditions for derogations? It is argued that the restrictions did exceed the limits for ordinary limitations to fundamental rights at least due to their exceptional and nonspecific nature. Budaya Palose Masyarakat Petani di Kelurahan Angges, Kecamatan Tahuna Barat Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe

    Budaya Palose merupakan budaya turun temurun di Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, budaya ini menjunjung tinggi rasa kebersamaan serta kerja sama di antara warga yang ada di Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe tak terkecuali Kelurahan Angges yang merupakan salah satu Kelurahan yang ada di Kepulauan Sangihe. Mepalose sering di jumpai baik dalam kegiatan pertanian seperti membuka lahan, menanam, atau memanen. Kemudian budaya Palose sering di laksanakan ketika  ada peristiwa duka, warga setempat akan berkumpul dimana kaum pria akan membuat bangsal, dan kaum  perempuan akan memasak. Zaman semakin berkembang begitupun dengan pola pikir masyarakat seiring dengan majunya teknologi. Hal ini mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat yang ada di Kelurahan Angges terhadap budaya Palose karena pada zaman sekarang hampir semua hal di lakukan dengan mudah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian di Kelurahan Angges, Kecamatan Tahuna Barat, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, fokus penelitian budaya Palose masyarakat petani yang ada di Kelurahan Angges dengan informan 12 orang terdiri dari Lurah, Tokoh Adat dan 10 orang petani. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya Palose yang ada di Kelurahan Angges khususnya dalam bidang pertanian masih berjalan sangat baik namun sudah di poles dengan cara-cara yang berbeda tanpa mengurangi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam budaya Palose. Cara-cara mempertahankan budaya Palose di Kelurahan Angges adalah menjaga selalu kebersamaan, kerja sama serta menyelesaikan masalah dengan berdiskusi.  Kata kunci: Dampak Pertambangan Nikel, Pola Hidup; Petani Kelap

Pengaruh Variasi Kadar Superplasticizer Terhadap Nilai Slump Beton Geopolymer

Melihat besarnya sumbangan industri semen terhadap total emisi karbondioksida (CO2), maka dilakukan berbagai penelitian untuk menekan angka pencemaran lingkungan. Penggantian semen secara total dengan bahan lain seperti abu terbang (fly ash) yang merupakan material hasil produksi sampingan industri dalam proses pembuatan beton, mendapatkan 2 keuntungan sekaligus yaitu mengurangi polusi akibat industri semen dan memanfaatkan limbah buangan yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi. Fly ash sebagai bahan pengikat pengganti semen akan melalui suatu proses polimerisasi anorganik, sehingga disebut beton geopolymer. Campuran beton geopolymer mempunyai sifat kekentalan yang kaku, padahal dalam proses pengecoran workabilitas beton sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempermudah pelaksanaan. Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah workabilitas tersebut melalui penggunaan berbagai jenis bahan tambahan atau superplasticizer. Penelitian ini mempelajari pengaruh variasi kadar superplasticizer terhadap nilai slump beton geopolymer. Material penyusun beton geopolymer yaitu fly ash sebagai prekursor. Sebagai aktivatornya, digunakan cairan alkalin yang terdiri dari sodium hidroksida (NaOH) dengan konsentrasi 8 molar dan sodium silikat (Na2SiO3), untuk perbandingan NaOH/Na2SiO3 sebesar 0,4. Agregat dan untuk meningkatkan workabilitas campuran beton digunakan superplasticizer Viscocrete-10 sebesar 0,2% sampai 2% dari binder. Perbandingan air/fly ash sebesar 0,3. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 18 sampel, dengan 6 varian campuran yang berbeda. Penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi pemeriksaan komposisi kimia fly ash, pengujian slump dan slump flow, pemeriksaan berat volume beton geopolymer, serta pengujian kuat tekan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk varian campuran beton geopolymer dengan penggunaan superplasticizer (0,2% sampai 2%) mencapai slump flow dengan diameter alir ≥ 50 cm sehingga dapat dikategorikan self compacting geopolymer concrete. Berat volume rata-rata beton geopolymer bertambah seiring dengan pertambahan persentase superplasticizer sebanyak 0%-1,5% yang berkisar antara 2033,58 kg/m3 sampai 2109,63 kg/m3, tetapi pada pertambahan persentase superplasticizer sebanyak 2% berat volume rata-rata beton geopolymer mengalami penurunan yaitu 2099,75 kg/m3. Penambahan kadar superplasticizer membuat nilai kuat tekan beton geopolymer menjadi tidak teratur. Pertambahan kadar superplasticizer 0,2%, 0,5% dan 1,5% mengalami kenaikan kuat tekan, akan tetapi pertambahan kadar superplasticizer 1% dan 2% justru menyebabkan penurunan kuat tekan
