    ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF USING FREE WRITING TECHNIQUE TOWARDS STUDENTS’ ANALYTICAL EXPOSITION TEXT WRITING ABILITY AT THE FIRST SEMESTER OF THE ELEVENTH GRADE OF MA AL HIKMAH BANDAR LAMPUNG IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2017/2018 By: Muhammad Al Mufarridun A This research is conducted based on the phenomena taking place in school that are many students considered writing is difficult, the students have lack of vocabulary, the students cannot express their ideas in written form well especially in analytical exposition text, students writing score are still low, the students do not focus and feel bored when they write analytical exposition, the teaching technique that is used by teacher is still less enjoyable for the students. The students’ analytical exposition text writing score is below the criteria minimum mastery (KKM) at MA AL- HIKMAH Bandar Lampung. Therefore, this research discusses the influence of using free writing technique in teaching writing, especially for students’ analytical exposition text writing ability. The objective of the research was to find out whether there is influence of using free writing technique towards students’ analytical exposition text writing ability at the first semester of the eleventh grade of MA AL- HIKMAH Bandar Lampung in the Academic Year of 2017 / 2018. The methodology of this research was quasi experimental design with the treatment held in 3 meetings, 2 x 45 minutes for each meeting. The population of this research was the regular class of the eleventh grade students of MA AL- HIKMAH Bandar Lampung. The total sample in this research was 77 students that were taken from two classes, IPA and IPS. In collecting the data, the writer used instruments pre-test and post-test. The instrument was analytical exposition writing test. After giving the post- test, the writer analyzed the data by using independent sample t-test. From the data analysis, it was found that the result of test was tobserved (6.75) with tcritical (1.664), it means that the score of tobserved was higher than tcritical, so Ha is accepted. So, there was influence of using free writing technique towards students’ analytical exposition text writing ability at the first semester of the eleventh grade of MA AL- HIKMAH Bandar Lampung in the Academic Year of 2017 / 2018.     Effectiveness of maternity waiting homes in increasing utilization of facility-based delivery: A systematic review

    To reduce the second delay contributing to maternal mortality, maternity waiting homes have been recommended for implementation especially in remote areas to help improve access to facility-based skilled delivery. Evidence of its effectiveness, however, is limited. This systematic review, therefore, aims to assess the effectiveness of the Maternity waiting home strategy in increasing utilization of facility delivery. Search for relevant articles was conducted on PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, Ebscohost, and Science Direct from database inception to March 30, 2021. Two reviewers independently screened the articles and assessed the quality of the studies. The identified maternity waiting home interventions and their effectiveness in improving facility-based delivery uptake were narratively synthesized and reported following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis reporting guidelines. The search yielded 670 articles of which five studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The three of five studies revealed that there is a significant association between Maternity waiting home use and utilization of facility-based delivery. The quality of the Maternity waiting homes significantly improved facility-based delivery uptake. Maternity Waiting Homes appear to be promising in decreasing barriers to skilled delivery attendance however the quality of evidence is low. More interventional studies of robust design are needed to clearly demonstrate its effectiveness

    Data Visualization of COVID-19 Vaccination Progress and Prediction Using Linear Regression

    This paper provides a data visualization and analysis of the COVID-19 vaccination program. Important information such as which countries have the highest vaccination rates and numbers. In addition to the types of vaccines used and used by countries in the world, an infographic on the geographic distribution of vaccine use is also shown. To model the obtained data, daily vaccination rates were modeled by linear regression in which five sample countries with different vaccination ranges were processed using data science approach, namely, linear regression. The modeling results show a gradient coefficient that represents an increase in vaccine rates. The prediction results showed that the highest rate of increase in daily vaccination was 1,826,126 additional vaccines per day

    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PBL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA TPBO SMKN 2 DEPOK

    This research aims to determine whether the problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of automotive engineering basic work in class X Automotive Body Repair Techniques (TPBO) SMK N 2 Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. This type of research is Classroom Action Research through 2 cycles where there are four stages carried out, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection which leads to an increase in student learning outcomes. The subjects in this Classroom Action Research were class X TPBO SMK N 2 Depok even semester students. Based on data analysis and results of Classroom Action Research (CAR), it can be concluded that based on the results of student learning tests in cycle I, 8 students (25%) completed their studies, in cycle II, 29 students (90.62%) completed learning by obtaining a value of ≥ 75. Based on the results of observations of student learning activities in the first cycle, 18 students (56.25%) were in the less active category and decreased in the second cycle to 4 students (12.5%). Thus the results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in the basic competence of maintaining measuring instruments in the subject of automotive engineering basic work in class X TPBO students at SMK Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta

    Prediksi Pengaruh Komposisi Pada Sifat Mekanik Bata Ringan Dengan Menggunakan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan

    Dalam fabrikasi bata ringan, salah satu permasalahan yang ditemui adalah penentuan komposisi bahan baku dari bata ringan yang dibuat. Ini karena komposisi bahan baku dari bata ringan dapat mempengaruhi sifat mekanik dari bata ringan yang menjadi parameter baik tidaknya bata ringan sebagai bahan bangunan. Dalam tugas akhir ini telah dilakukan prediksi pengaruh komposisi unsur penyusun dan densitas terhadap kekuatan tekan bata ringan AAC dengan menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan. Selain itu juga dilakukan simulasi pengaruh komposisi unsur-unsur utama bata ringan AAC serta densitas AAC terhadap kekuatan tekannya. Jaringan syaraf tiruan dengan arsitektur feed forward backpropagation dan algoritma pelatihan Levenberg-Marquardt yang terbaik didapatkan pada hidden node 8, dengan MSE pelatihan sebesar 0,001605667 dan MSE validasi sebesar 0,01455. Hasil simulasi pengaruh komposisi dan densitas terhadap kekuatan tekan bata ringan AAC menunjukkan bahwa komposisi Ca, Si, dan densitas berbanding lurus terhadap kekuatan tekan AAC, sementara komposisi Al berbanding terbalik dengan kekuatan tekan AAC. Hasil prediksi kuat tekan yang didapatkan untuk 4 sampel AACa, AAC-b, AAC-c, dan AAC-d secara berurutan adalah 4,80 MPa, 5,24 MPa, 3,23 MPa, dan 3,67 MPa. ============================================================================================================== One of the problems found in the fabrication of lightweight brick is how to determine the composition of raw materials used. The composition of materials in lightweight brick can affect its mechanical properties which is an important parameter for building materials. In this study the prediction of the effect of elements composition and density on compressive strength of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) using neural network has been done. Furthermore, the simulation on the effect of each element composition and the density on compressive strength also has been done. The best network developed in this study using feedforward backpropagation architecture and Levenberg- Marquardt algorithm is to use 8 hidden node, with mse training of 0.001605667 and mse validation of 0.01455. Simulation results show that composition of Ca, Si, O, and density are all directly proportional to compresssive strentgh, while composition of Al is inversely proportional. The compressive strength prediction results obtained for 4 AAC samples are 4.80 MPa, 5.24 MPa, 3.23 MPa, and 3.67 MPa for sample AAC-a, AAC-b, AAC-c, and AAC-d sequentially. The result of prediction shows that the neural network developed can predict the effect of composition and density on compressive strength of AAC

The resuIts of the study show 1) The roIe of the teacher in fostering student moraIs, especiaIIy grade 4 SDI AI-Ma’arif 01 Singosari incIuding providing moraI guidance, instiIIing moraIs through habituation, as a modeI and roIe modeI, and as a motivator. 2) There are supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering the moraIs of 4th graders at SDI AI-Ma’arif 01 Singosari.     Skrining Partisi-partisi dan Fraksi-fraksi Larut Etil Asetat dari Ekstrak Metanol Daun Botto-botto (Chromolaena odorata L.) sebagai Anti Plasmodium

    Malaria merupakan masalah kesehatan yang cukup serius ditangani pemerintah Indonesia. Spesies paling berbahaya adalah P. falciparum. Terbatasnya jumlah obat efektif mendorong peneliti menemukan antimalaria baru terutama berasal dari alam. Salah satunya adalah daun Botto-botto (Chromolaena odorata L.) dilaporkan memiliki banyak manfaat dan berpotensi menyembuhkan berbagai penyakit diantaranya antimalaria. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui aktivitas antiplasmodium dari partisi-partisi dan fraksi-fraksi larut etil asetat dari ekstrak metanol daun Botto-botto terhadap P. falciparum strain 3D7 (sensitif klorokuin) dan menentukan partisi dan fraksi manakah yang paling aktif terhadap P. falciparum strain 3D7. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengekstraksi daun Botto-botto dengan pelarut metanol, kemudian dipartisi. Hasil dari partisi larut etil asetat difraksinasi menggunakan campuran eluen n-Heksan, etil asetat, dan metanol dengan beberapa perbandingan. Sampel uji Fraksi A, B, C, D, E, F, ekstrak metanol, partisi larut n-Heksan, larut dan tidak larut etil asetat konsentrasi 100 ppm diujikan terhadap Plasmodium falciparum strain 3D7, dihitung berdasarkan %hambatan rata-rata. Dari penelitian, diketahui bahwa semua sampel uji memiliki aktivitas antiplasmodium dengan %hambatan 100%, partisi dan fraksi paling aktif dilihat dari perbedaan %parasitemia kontrol(+) 48 jam adalah Partisi larut n-Heksan dan Fraksi E 0,38;0,30% dan 0,4;0,42%. Identifikasi golongan senyawa menunjukkan Partisi larut n-Heksan mengandung alkaloid, dan Fraksi E mengandung flavonoid dan fenol

    Terapi Virtual Reality (VR) terhadap Skala Nyeri Penderita Osteoarthritis (OA) Post Total Knee Replacement (TKR)

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) technology on pain scales in post-TKR osteoarthritis patients. Using previously defined keywords, this research uses the literature review method, which originates from the database, namely ClinicKey Nursing, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, and Embase with Publish in 2018-2022. The results showed that after the four databases were determined, 511 articles were produced, of which Clinickey Nursing (n = 41), EBSCOhost (n = 17), EMBASE (n = 3), and ProQuest (n = 450). First and second screening (n = 81) (=26). duplication and filtering of titles/abstracts, and based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, the number of articles were grouped into 5 (n=5). In conclusion, VR technology devices still need to do an in-depth study regarding the effectiveness of their use as a distraction technology in post-TKR patients.
