Evaluation of Contemporary Environmental Condition of River Basins in Southern Pre-Caspian Areas of Azerbaijan

    Get PDF
Southern Pre-Caspian areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan have favorable geographical position as well as natural and climatic condition for dwelling, development of settlements, and industrial activity. Most areas have fertile soils and attractive landscapes. These factors facilitate human distribution in the researched area and therefore, the area is highly populated. Population are engaged mainly in areas such as farming, namely production of tea, vine, cereals, vegetable, different fruits, including citrus plants, production of foods, and also cattle- and sheep-breeding. As a result, the coastal zone and rivers experience high anthropogenic influence. This article deals with the study of anthropogenic pollution of highly-settled river basins and valleys as well as evaluation of changes going by quality of river waters in southern Pre-Caspian areas of Azerbaijan

Ethics and Journalism in the Professional Culture of the Journalist of the Digital Age

Ethics is an immanent feature of the journalist’s professional culture and, in a narrower sense, professional ethics. In the digital age the activity of a journalist is based on the phenomenon of journalism. Codified journalistic morality came in contact with the ethics of journalism. Penetration of norms and principles of the ethics of journalism enriches but, on the other hand, devalues the professional ethics of a journalist, thus exerting an ambiguous influence on the professional culture of a journalist.

Five species of lichenized ascomycetes are reported from high mountainous Dagestan. Acarospora laqueata, Lecania ochronigra and Protoparmelia placentiformis are new to Russia and the Caucasus (the last two). Anamylopsora pulcherrima is the first record of the genus and species for the North Caucasus. Buellia centralis is the first record for the Caucasus and second for Russia. Our records considerably extended information about geography and ecology of presented species especially the very rare species Buellia centralis, Lecania ochronigra and Protoparmelia placentiformis. The characteristic features of specimens with information of their morphology, anatomy, ecology and world distribution are given

2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 17A50, Secondary 16R10, 17A30, 17D25, 17C50.Algebras with identities a(bc)=b(ac), (ab)c=(ac)b is called bicommutative. Bases and the cocharacter sequence for free bicommutative algebras are found. It is shown that the exponent of the variety of bicommutaive algebras is equal to 2

Monitoring vibrations and microdisplacement for "pin on disc" tribology studies

    Get PDF
The paper studies the example of applying accelerometers to evaluate tribocoupling vibration characteristics and verification methods in the testing system "pin on disc". Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) intended for operation over a wide static and spectral ranges were applied. Accelerator spatial track recovery was implemented through the double integration algorithm. In the course of the work, the vibrations occurring through the friction between fluorocarbon and brass alloy LS59-1 under the conditions of dry friction were studied

Purpose: The study defines the specifics and opportunities, that arise due to the application of statistical method in judicial research of manufacturing property. Design/Methodology/Approach: The authors put the ground of the study on the aggregation of a vast spectrum of statistical data and indicators of patent activity of leading countries in the sphere of technological innovation. Findings: The authors outlined the main tendencies of legal regulation of scientific and artistic results of intellectual property development and define the specifics and opportunities that arise due to the application of statistical method in judicial research of manufacturing property. Lack of coordination of approaches to protect manufacturing property on the international level, obstructs the development of patent activity amongst the members of the Paris Convention and significantly reduces the effectiveness of the current patent system. Practical implications: Authors' development could be utilized in future developments of Russian institute of manufacturing property and its legal framework. Originality/Value: The contribution of the article is the comprehensive analysis of legal background of intellectual property institute and its development prospects.peer-reviewe
