    EFFECT OF EFFECTIVE RELEASE HEIGHT ON ATMOSPHERIC DISPERSION OFRADIOACTIVE MATERIAL (CASE STUDY: CANDIDATE SITES FOR NPP IN BANGKABELITUNG). Nuclear is an alternative energy resource that can be considered in the context ofenergy mix. Preliminary studies was carried out on nuclear power plant site in West Bangka andSouth Bangka, Bangka Belitung. One of the important aspects in construction of nuclear power plantsis radiological impact on society due to atmospheric releases of radioactive substances. This study examines the effect of effective release height on dispersion pattern of radioactive substances with Gaussian Plume Model using PC-CREAM 08. From calculation results, the dispersion of radioactivesubstances at each site has different patterns due to the frequency distribution of wind direction, windspeed and atmospheric stability. In this study, atmospheric stability was determined using SolarRadiation Delta Temperature method. Spatial distribution of radioactive substances in variousaltitude on the same site has similar tendency, but lower effective release height causes highermaximum concentration of radioactive substances. Dispersion pattern of radioactive substances oneach site was influenced by the frequency distribution of wind direction and speed. Nevertheless, thedominant wind direction at the site of West and South Bangka Bangka blows a similar direction, i.efrom the ESE to the WNW. Concentration of radioactive substances in the air both in the West andSouth Bangka Bangka far below the standard level of radioactivity was determined by regulatorybody. This indicates that the effects of atmospheric dispersion of nuclear power plants in BangkaBelitung was no significant on environment and public safety. For better represent of radiologicalimpact, it is necessary to estimate individual doses of public members

    AGGLOMERATIVE HIERARCHICAL CLUSTERING ANALYSIS IN PREDICTING ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF COMPOUND BASED ON CHEMICAL STRUCTURE SIMILARITY

    Resistance to antibiotics is increasing to alarmingly high levels. As antibiotics are less effective, more infections are becoming more complex and often impossible to treat. Numerous antibiotics discovered in marine organisms show that the marine environment, which accounts for over half of the world's biodiversity, is a massive source for novel antibiotics and that this resource must be explored to identify next-generation antibiotics. This research aimed to predict antibacterial activity in marine compounds using a computational approach to reduce the cost and time of finding marine organisms, extracting, and testing numerous unknown marine compounds' bioactivities. We used a simple unsupervised learning approach to predict the biological activity of marine compounds using agglomerative hierarchical clustering. We mixed antibiotic drug data in DrugBank Database and chemical compound data from marine organisms in literature to compile our dataset. We applied five linkage methods in our dataset and compared the best method by assessing internal validation measurement. We found that the Ward with squared dissimilarity matrix is the best method in the dataset, and ten compounds from 73 compounds of the marine compound are determined as potential marine compounds which have antibacterial activity

    TOTAL EDGE AND VERTEX IRREGULAR STRENGTH OF TWITTER NETWORK

    Twitter data can be converted into a graph where users can represent the vertices. Then the edges can be represented as relationships between users. This research focused on determining the total edge irregularity strength (tes) and the total vertices irregularity strength (tvs) of the Twitter network. The value could be determined by finding the greatest lower bound and the smallest upper bound. The lower bound was determined by using the properties, characteristics of the Twitter network graph along with the supporting theorems from previous studies, while the upper bound is determined through the construction of the total irregular labeling function on the Twitter network. The results in this study are the tes(TW)=18 and tvs(TW)=16

    THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CAREER LADDER AND NURSES JOB SATISFACTION AT A HOSPITAL

    Background: Career ladder is given to nurses to encourage and maintain professional development and practice of nursing. Career ladder has an impact on raising clinical levels, promotion opportunities, competency complexity, rewards and recognition. In this study, the career ladder has started by mapping and conducting, credentials and competency assessment at the levels of pre Nurse Clinicians, Nurse Clinicians Level I and Nurse Clinicians Level II. Almost half of the nurses were dissatisfied (47.2%) with their career development.Aims: This study was to analyzed the relationship between the career ladder and nurses’ job satisfaction.Methods: This study was a quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. There were 108 nurses as samples selected using consecutive sampling techniques. These respondent who met the inclusion criteria came from Inpatient Room, (i.e VVIP, VIP, Class I, Class 2/3, Ophthalmology Inpatient), Polyclinic, Chemotherapy Unit, NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Hemodialysis, Emergency room and COT (Centra Operation Theater). Data were analyzed using the Spearman test.Results: There was a significant relationship between career ladder (p=0.000) and nurse’ job satisfaction. The nurse were satisfied with her career development related to implementation of career ladder. Besides, career ladder allowed to be promoted as the heads of the rooms. Rewards and recognition of nurses’ competencies through job promotion affected nurses’ satisfaction.Conclusion: Career ladder affects nurse satisfaction. Nurses can advance their careers through a career promotion, competencies, rewards and recognition from other health professionals. Support from nurse manager is needed as a form of mentoring and evaluation of nurse performance in the career ladder.  Keywords: career ladder, job satisfaction, nurse

    A Critical Review of The Role of Clinical Governance in Health Care and Its Potential Application in Indonesia

    In modern society, people???s behaviour towards any service tends to be concerned about the quality of goods or services as\ud consumers.The NHS has developed programs to support the implementation of clinical governance based on five strategies:\ud system awareness, teamwork, communication, ownership, and leadership. All are built on seven pillars: clinical effectiveness,\ud risk management effectiveness, patient experience, communication effectiveness, resources effectiveness, strategic effectiveness\ud and learning effectiveness. This system can bridge the gap between professional aspects and management aspects, while other\ud quality system tend to focus on management aspects. Clinical governance is applicable to health care organizations around\ud the world including Indonesia since clinical governance is a framework for clinicians and management to collaborate to\ud provide better quality of health care.. In Indonesia, clinical governance is a new concept, even though some health care\ud organizations have implemented quality management through ISO 9000 accreditation and patients safety standard based on\ud Joint Commission International(JCI), the International standard for Hospital accreditation.Therefore, the Indonesia Ministry\ud of Health may want to learn from the UK about the implementation of the pillars and strategies of clinical governance,\ud although Indonesia may have some limited resources (financial and human) to implement clinical governance

    Kepuasan pasien tidak lepas dari sumber daya manusia yang diberikan oleh rumah sakit, salah satunya ialah perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan. Tidak jarang bahwa perawat menjadi sasaran terhadap kepuasan pasien, karena pelayanan keperawatan yang memiliki kontribusi paling besar atas kesan pasien terhadap sebuah rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara caring, communication, information, kerja sama, penerimaan, tanggung jawab, keramahan & kesopanan, ketepatan waktu, kompetensi teknis, empathy, penampilan, dan kelengkapan sarana terhadap persepsi kepuasan pasien di RSUD Labuang Baji Kota Makassar Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study, dengan penentuan sampel Isaac Michael yang berjumlah 173 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Labuang Baji Kota Makassar pada bulan Juli- September 2022. Menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariate dengan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan caring (p=0,00), communication (p=0,00), information (p=0,00), kerja sama (p=0,00), penerimaan (p=0,00), tanggung jawab (p=0,00), ketepatan waktu (p=0,09), kompetensi teknis (p=0,00), empathy (p=0,00), penampilan (p=0,00), kelengkapan sarana (p=0,01) dengan kepuasan pasien. Tidak ada hubungan keramahan & kesopanan (p=0,53) dengan kepuasan pasien. Jadi terdapat 11 variabel yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan dan 1 variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan kepuasan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan persepsi kepuasan pasien terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan ada 11 variabel yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan pasien dan terdapat 1 variabel yang tidak memiliki hubungan. Diharapkan pihak rumah sakit sebagai instansi pelayanan kesehatan lebih meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan
