Meson-Baryon Couplings and the F/D ratio in Light Cone QCD
Using the general form of the baryon currents, we calculate the meson-baryon coupling constants and the F/D ratio within the framework of light cone QCD sum rules in the SU(3) flavor symmetry limit. The dependence of the results on the Dirac structure and on the free parameter b appearing in the general baryon current is considered. Comparison of our results on F/D ratio with the existing results is presented
Pseudoscalar--meson decuplet--baryon coupling constants in light cone QCD
Taking into account the breaking effects, the strong coupling
constants of the , and mesons with decuplet baryons are
calculated within light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that all
coupling constants, even in the case of breaking, are described in
terms of only one universal function. It is shown that for transition violation of symmetry is very large
and for other channels when symmetry is violated, its maximum value
constitutes .Comment: 17 Pages, one Figure and 3 Table
Two Higgs Doublet Model and Lepton Polarization in the B -> K tau+ tau- Decay
The decay width, forward-backward asymmetry and tau lepton longitudinal and
transversal polarization for the exclusive (B -> K tau^+ tau^-) decay in a two
Higgs doublet model are computed. It is shown that the forward-backward
asymmetry and longitudinal polarization of the tau lepton are very effective
tools for establishing new physics.Comment: 25 pages, 20 figures, LaTeX formatte
General analysis of time evolution of decay spectrum in B^0 -> pi^+ pi^- l^+ l^-
Using the general, model independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the decay
spectrum of B^0 -> pi^+ pi^- l^+ l^- decay is studied. The sensitivity of
experimentally measurable asymmetries to the new Wilson coefficients and time
is studied. It is observed that different asymmetries are sensitive to the new
Wilson coefficients and they can serve as an efficient tool for establishing
new physics beyond SM.Comment: 15 pp, 4 figures (postscript formatted), LaTex formatte
Magnetic and quadrupole moments of light spin-1 mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
The magnetic and quadrupole moments of the light-vector and axial-vector
mesons are calculated in the light cone QCD sum rules. Our results for the
static properties of these mesons are compared with the predictions of lattice
QCD as well as other approaches existing in the literature.Comment: 11 pages, NO figures, LaTeX formatte
g_{rho sigma gamma} coupling constant in light cone QCD
The coupling constant g_{rho sigma gamma} is determined from light cone QCD
sum rules. A comparison of our result with the ones existing in literature is
presented.Comment: 7 pp, 2 figures (postscript formatted), LaTex formatte
Exclusive B -> K^* l^+ l^- decay with polarized K^* and new physics effects
Using the most general, model independent effective Hamiltonian, the
branching ratio of the (B -> K^* l^+ l^-) decay, when K^* meson is
longitudinally or transversally polarized, is presented. The dependence of the
branching ratio on the new Wilson coefficients, when K^* meson is polarized, is
studied. It is observed that the branching ratio is very sensitive to the
vector and tensor type interactions, which will be useful in search of new
physics beyond the Standard Model.Comment: 13 pp, 6 figures (postscript formatted), LaTex formatte
T violation in (Lambda_b -> Lambda l^+ l^-) decay beyond standard model
Using the most general, model independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the
transverse polarization P_T of Lambda in Lambda_b -> Lambda l^+ l^- decay is
studied. It is observed that the averaged is very sensitive to the
existence of new physics and can attain large values, which can be measured at
future colliders.Comment: 12 pages, 7 figures, LaTeX formatte
Fourth generation effects in rare exclusive B -> K^* l^+ l^- decay
Influence of the fourth generation, if ever exists, on the experimentally
measurable quantities such as invariant dilepton mass distribution, lepton
forward-backward asymmetry, and the ratio (Gamma_L/Gamma_T) of the decay widths
when K* meson is longitudinally and transversally polarized, is studied. Using
the experimental results on the branching ratios for the (B -> X_s) gamma and
semileptonic (B -> X_c l nu) decays, the two possible solutions of the 4x4
Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa factor (V_{t's} V_{t^'b}) are obtained as a function
of the t'-quark mass. It is observed that the results for the above-mentioned
physical quantities are essentially different from the standard model
predictions only for one solution of the CKM factor. In this case the
above-mentioned physical quantities can serve as efficient tools in search of
the fourth generation. The other solution yields almost identical results with
the SM.Comment: 19 pages, 10 postscripted figures, LaTeX formatte
The magnetic moments of 'Lambda_b' and 'Lambda_c' baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Using the most general form of the interpolating currents of heavy baryons,
the magnetic moments of heavy baryons "Lambda_Q (Q=b,c)" are calculated in
framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our results on
magnetic moments with the existing theoretical results calculated in various
other frameworks are presented.Comment: 14 pp, 6 figures (postscript formatted), LaTex formatte
