The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Work Discipline Against The Employee Performance With Turnover Intention as The Intervening Variable
This study is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, work discipline against the employee performance with turnover intention as the intervening variabel. The object of this research is the employees of PT. Prima Utama. This research was conducted on 270 respondents by using a quantitative descriptive approach. The determination of the sample size is using the Slovin formula so that the sample used is 161 respondents. Methods of data collection using survey methods, with the research instrument is using a questionnaire. The research method in this research is using Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study has stated that transformational leadership has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Work discipline has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Turnover intention has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance
PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BELAJAR IPS MENGGUNAKAN MODEL CTL SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 3 SIDOMULYO PURWOREJO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2009/2010
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep
belajar IPS pada Siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Sidomulyo dengan menggunakan
model CTL.
Variabel yang menjadi sasaran perubahan dalam penelitian ini adalah
pemahaman konsep belajar IPS. Sedangkan variabel tindakan yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah model CTL. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian
tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat
tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Adapun jumlah
siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Sidomulyo 13 siswa.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa, ada peningkatan
pemahaman konsep belajar IPS setelah diadakan tindakan kelas dengan model
CTL. Hal itu dapat ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya kemampuan siswa dari
sebelum dan sesudah diadakan tindakan. Demikian dapat disimpulkan
pembelajaran IPS dengan model CTL dapat meningkatkan perolehan nilai ratarata
dari kondisi awal 61,54 meningkat menjadi 72,37 pada siklus I dan pada
siklus II meningkat menjadi 76,24. Pembelajaran IPS dengan model CTL dapat
meningkatkan pemahaman konsep belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3
Sidomulyo Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. PTK sebagai upaya
peningkatan proses dan hasil pembelajaran perlu dikondisikan dengan baik dan
mendapat dukungan semua pihak
The Role of Motivation as Mediating Leadership Style and Work Environment on Employee Morale at Fast Food Restaurant Z in Jakarta
This research is about the influence of leadership style and work environment on work morale where motivation is a mediating variable. The object of this research is Fast Food Restaurant Z in Jakarta, which is one of the fast food restaurants in Indonesia. The research method uses a quantitative-causality approach, which will be tested using the SEM-PLS method with the SmartPLS program. The choice of the SEM-PLS method is the right reason, because it can observe a relatively small number of 52 employees without reducing the level of statistical accuracy. Employees whose sample size has been determined must have followed the convenience sampling assumption. The results of this study provide an empirical model of a positive relationship between leadership style, and work environment on morale mediated by motivation. These results provide theoretical empirical recommendations, especially managerial implications for Fast Food Restaurant Z in Jakarta as an important consideration in making effective Human Resource Management decisions and achieving business continuity in the future. Professional Turnover Intention in Indonesia: Perceived Effects of Organizational Support, Burnout, and Organizational Justice
The importance of this research, which is sourced from several relevant references, states that the turnover rate from all sectors, both public and private, (Mercer, 2019) especially the banking sector experienced high turnover or resignation. Therefore, the researcher proposes the factors that become the main consideration of employees acting on the intention to move or leave. Indicated these factors are perceived organizational support or supervisor support, burnout (high stress, emotional stress, depersonalization, reduced personal achievement, procedural justice, distributive justice, and interpersonal justice). Perceptions of organizational support, burnout, and organizational justice on professional turnover intention in Indonesia. The design of this study uses a quantitative approach. The method of determining the sample uses professionals working in the Indonesia area using the purposive sampling technique which will be analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The findings of this research model are that the perception of negative support has a negative effect on the intention to move, saturation has a positive effect on the intention to move, and organizational justice has an effect on the intention to move. TOWARDS THE BEST MODEL GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE THROUGH JOB SATISFACTION
The purpose of this study was to examine and assess the impact of Good Corporate Governance and Knowledge Management on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through the mediation of Job Satisfaction. Quantitative research using questionnaire collection techniques and SEM Smart-PLS, with a saturated sample of 86 employees. Finding, Good Corporate Governance has no effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Knowledge Management has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Good Corporate Governance and Knowledge Management has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of good corporate governance on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but is able to mediate the relationship between Knowledge Management and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Interestingly, good company GCG does not necessarily increase employee OCB. KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU PADA PEMBELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 12 PEKANBARU
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh UU Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 yang menuntut
Guru harus memiliki 4 kompetensi yang salah satunya yaitu kompetensi
profesional yang menuntut guru untuk menguasai materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru dalam menguasai materi
pelajaran ekonomi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi bahan pertimbangan
bagi sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru IPS ekonomi di
Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data
dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data
menggunakan rumus = 100. Metode keabsahan data menggunakan
metode perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan dan triangualasi data
dengan sumber. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi penulis menunjukkan
bahwa kompetensi profesional dalam penguasaan materi pelajaran guru IPS
ekonomi Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 12 Pekanbaru adalah Sangat Baik
dengan hasil 82,39% yang berada pada posisi 81% -100% dan guru ekonomi
memiliki motivasi terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang diajarkannya
dengan cara mengikuti MGMP
(Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) dan pelatihan-
pelatihan mengenai perubahan-perubahan kurikulum.

THE EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP, COMPENSATION AND JOB ENGAGEMENT TO TEACHING QUALITY (Study on Non-Permanent Teachers in Public Junior Hight School, Central Jakarta Education office)
The Quality Teaching of Non-Permanent Teachers of Junior Hight School in Central Jakarta Education Office in the last 5 years tends to decrease. This study aims to analyze effect of transformational leadership, compensation and job engagement to teaching quality of teachers. Respondent in tis study is non-permanent teachers at Central Jakarta Education Office, 71 samples from the saturated sample technique use questionnaire. This research use multiple linear regression analysis, The result of the research is transformational leadership has negative effect not significant to the teaching quality, compensation has a significant positive effect on teaching quality of and job engageent has a significant positive effect on the teaching quality. Tribological properties of surface coated duplex stainless steel containing SiC ceramic particles
This paper presents an experimental investigation on the
tribological properties of coated duplex stainless steel
(DSS) containing SiC ceramic particles. The preplaced SiC
powder with 20 ยตm particle size and TIG torch surfacing
was conducted with energy inputs of 480, 768 and 1440
J/mm. The comparisons of the room temperature wear
behavior of substrate DSS and coated SiC duplex stainless
steel was carried out against alumina ceramic ball. The
effects of the process parameters on the hardness and wear
behavior were analyzed in this study. The coated surface of
DSS produced hardness about 2~4 times higher than
uncoated DSS. It was revealed that coated surface was
improved significantly with lower wear weight loss and
coefficient of friction (about 2 times lower) than the
substrate material. The embedded SiC into the surface of
steel has improved the wear behaviour of DSS. This is due
to SiC dendrites structure that strongly bonded to the steel
resulting the reduction of the friction between coated
surface and the alumina ball. The wear worn surface was
observed under SEM with a very mild abrasive wear for
coated surface compared to severe abrasive wear for
substrate DSS surface. The coated surface has showed
lower surface roughness and wear depth penetration
indicated that the presence of the SiC reduced the wear of the material
The Effect of Job Characteristics towards the Organizational Commitment of the Employees
Organization today are facing both the development of the fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0 and also the implication of millennial workforce. The objective of this research is to analyze and develop the human resource management in the organization in order to find out the engagement of the millennial workforce commitment to the organization and to find out the impact of the employee turnover intention within the organization. The research in done through the distribution of questionnaire, and the population of this research is consisted of the employees in a local IT provider company in Jakarta, Indonesia. This research is performed by using descriptive and verification method, the descriptive method is based on observation analysis and the verification method is based on quantitative analysis. The sample determination was done through Non-Probability (Random Sampling) and the tool of analysis is using Partial Least Square (PLS). The population of this research is based on 350 employees of an IT provider company in Jakarta, Indonesia. The result indicated that job characteristics have higher significant influence on organizational commitment compared to career development that effect the turnover intention of employees. Organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee turnover intention. This means that in order to counter the turnover intention of the millennial employees, the organization must develop proper job characteristics to suit the millennial workforce which might be useful to help overcome the research phenomenon
