    Determination of Transportation Fleet Size using The Combination of Adjusted SPT Rule and Linear Programming Method

    In a very competitive industry, XYZ Ltd. needs to have an effective, efficient and reliable logistics fleet management. The fleets should be able to help the company serve the market demands and guarantee the distribution of its products. This research analyzed and determined the by-truck transportation fleet size of XYZ Ltd using the combination of adjusted SPT Rule and linear programming method. The results showed that the product delivery’s scheduling was arranged by operating a fleet of 13 tronton trucks and 25 trailer trucks, with the scheduling of delivery resulting in maximum makespan of 6.98 days and an average flow-time per shipment of 3.83 days.     Contestation in Gamelan Making Rituals: Tensions between Old and New Understandings

    Performing ritual before making gamelan as one of stages of producing gamelan orchestra has changed. The decision of gamelan masters to perform ritual is affected by their worldview, socio-religious and economic changes in their surroundings. This research aims to identify contestation in gamelan making rituals especially the tensions that occur between old and new understanding of gamelan masters. The study was conducted from March 2013 to April 2015. Semi-structured interview was applied to 6 out of 10 gamelan masters in Wirun Village, Sukoharjo District, Central Java. The result finds that gamelan masters apply strategies such as purification, negotiation and commercialization to adapt to the changes in Wirun. These strategies occur based on the understanding of old and younger generation of gamelan masters in Wirun. Purification can be defined as gamelan masters attempt to purify their religious principle from other external influence. There are two types of purification conducted by gamelan masters; purification of Javanese belief and purification of Islamic teachings. Negotiation hitherto is a way for gamelan masters to perceive their religious perspective and Javanese traditions flexibly. While, commercialization is taken by gamelan masters who only perceive gamelan as an industrial commodity and who prioritize the market value disregarding religious values in making the gamelan.     Stabilitas sepeda motor akan mempengaruhi kenyamanan dan keamanan pengendara. Struktur fleksibel swing arm sebagai satu kesatuan sistem suspensi roda belakang merupakan bagian yang mempengaruhi kestabilan. Kekakuan merupakan aspek karakteristik statik belum menjamin akan meningkatkan performance sepeda motor, apabila tidak mempunyai karakeristik dinamik yang terbebas dari pengaruh getaran sepeda motor baik dari engine maupun dari ketidakrataan jalan. Secara spesifik, tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik dinamik swing arm. Karakteristik dinamik meliputi frekuensi alami dan pola getar. Identifikasi karakteristik dinamik struktur swing arm dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode numerik berbasis Metode Elemen Hingga dalam suatu sistem Computerized Aided Engineering (CAE) dari CATIA. Elemen tiga dimensi (3D) Tetrahedron dengan model elemen TET-4 digunakan sebagai penyusun struktur terbuat dari Aluminium Alloy. Hasil uji karakteristik dinamik struktur swing arm diketahui frekuensi alami paling rendah terjadi pada frekuensi 94,02 Hz dengan ditandai deformasi pada arah sumbu z.     Analysis Of Income And Financial Feasibility Of Capture Fisheries Business In Cilacap Regency (Case Study: Debtor Of Ultra Micro Financing Of Fisheries Sector Kud Mino Saroyo)

    Capture fisheries business is a business with high uncertainty because it is strongly influenced by natural factors, namely weather, season, and geographical conditions of the fishing area. Ultra micro credit in the fisheries sector really helps fishermen and coastal communities to access capital but there are still many debtors who experience problems in paying their obligations. Objective: To analyze the income, efficiency and financial feasibility of business capture fisheries run by debtors of ultra-micro financing in the fisheries sector in Cilacap Regency. Data analysis technique: descriptive analysis quantitative analysis of income, efficiency with R/C Ratio, and business financial feasibility with indicators of Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Benefit/Net Cost Ratio, Dynamic Payback Period, and Return on Investment. Results: (1) The average income of capture fisheries for each group ranging from IDR 28,776,100 to IDR 30,800,019 per year. (2) All capture fisheries businesses that are debtors for ultra-micro financing for the fisheries sector in Cilacap Regency are efficient businesses.     DENSITAS TANGKASI (Tarsius spectrum) DI KAWASAN HUTAN KOTA DESA KUWIL KABUPATEN MINAHASA UTARA

    ABSTRACT The Kuwil Village Forest City holds an endemic species of Tangkasi (Tarsier spectrum). The condition of forests that characterizes primary forests makes the stems remain in the forest area still status is urban forest. The area of the City Forest of the Kuwil Village is ± 43 ha with a total sampling area of 0.0275 km2 or 2.75 ha with the number of plots installed putting together 14 plots that form a circle with a radius of 25 m. Data was collected in the morning at 05.00-06.15 WITA. Based on the research results obtained a total of duet calls at the location obtained 18 duet calls with a total of 2627 tails / km2 or 26.27 tails / ha which indicates a high population density in urban forest areas. Kuwil City Forest has a variety of potential wildlife that can be processed for conservation of its sustainability. Wildlife conservation can be useful in the future so that it can be used as the development of wildlife utilization both for recreation, natural attractions, and research development. Key words: Kuwil Village, Tangkasi, Kuwil Urban Forest, Density of Tarsier, Conservation. ABSTRAKHutan Kota Desa Kuwil menyimpan satwa endemik tangkasi (Tarsius spectrum). Kondisi hutan yang mencirikan hutan primer membuat tangkasi tetap tinggal di kawasan hutan meskipun statusnya adalah hutan kota. Luas area Hutan Kota Desa Kuwil adalah ± 43 ha dengan luas area total pengambilan sampel adalah 0,0275 km2 atau 2,75 ha dengan  jumlah plot yang di pasang berjumlah 14 plot berbentuk lingkaran dengan jari-jari 25 m. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada pagi hari pukul 05.00-06.15 WITA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh total duet call di lokasi berjumlah 18 duet call dengan jumlah 2627 ekor/Km2 atau 26,27 ekor/ha yang menunjukkan kepadatan populasi tangkasi pada kawasan hutan kota jumlah populasi yang tinggi. Hutan Kota Kuwil mempunyai beragam potensi satwaliar yang dapat diolah untuk memelihara kelestariannya.     Struktur Komunitas Laba-laba (Arachnida: Araneae) Di Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Wartabone, Sulawesi Utara

    Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park is a tropical low land rain forest. This region has high diversity of arthropods, i.e. spider. The aims of this study was to analyze the Community structure of spiders of spiders (Arachnida: Araneae) in various types of habitat at Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park North Sulawesi. Sampling was carried out at three habitat types, namely primary, secondary, and farm. The research was conducted from March to May 2014 by using pitfall trap (to collect spiders that move on the ground) and sweep net (to collect the spideron vegetation canopy). The number of spiders obtained during the study of was 1267 speciments. The specimens collected are consists 15 families, 71 genera, and 129 morphospecies. The Family which most individual abundance is family Tetragnathidae and the least was Ctenizidae. Salticidae were the most common family of species (30 species), while the least were Agelenidae, Ctenidae and Ctenizidae where each family has one species. Abundance, richness, diversity and evenness of species was higher in the farm, while the lowest in the secondary forest. The highest similarity index of spider communities was between primary forests and secondary forests. The results of this research can be used as a diversity database of spiders for conservation strategies in North Sulawesi

    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang densitas tangkasi (Tarsius tarsier) di luar kawasan hutan tropis dataran rendah Sulawesi Utara berdasarkan sampling duet call dengan tujuan untuk membandingkan densitasnya pada beberapa tipe habitat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Batuputih untuk habitat pertanian, mangrove, dan semak; serta Gunung Klabat untuk habitat hutan dataran tinggi. Waktu penelitian dari bulan Mei sampai Juli 2013. Metode penelitian didasarkan pada sampling berdasarkan duet call dengan plot berbentuk lingkaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan densitas tangkasi ialah: 2,94 ekor/ha pada hutan dataran tinggi; 1,60 ekor/ha pada areal pertanian; 7,66 ekor/ha pada mangrove; dan 8,17 ekor/ha pada semak.A research about density of tangkasi (Tarsius tarsier) at the outside of lowland forest habitat in North Sulawesi has conducted to compare their density at several habitats based on the duet call. Research was done in Batuputih for farming area, mangrove, and shrub habitats and in Klabat Mountain for highland forest habitat. Time of research was May to July 2013.     Tarsius spectrum (nama sinonim: Tarsius tarsier) dalam bahasa lokal disebut tangkasi (Minahasa), ngasi (Sulawesi Tengah), Tanda bona passo (Wana), Podi (Tolaki), Wengu (Mornene) merupakan spesies primata endemik Sulawesi. Tangkasi merupakan salah satu primata terkecil dan beberapa diantara anggota spesiesnya merupakan satwa endemik Sulawesi yang terancam punah dan dilindungi. Menurut IUCN (2008), tarsius dalam Red Data Book IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) termasuk dalam kategori vulnerable (rentan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung densitas tangkasi pada elevasi yang berbeda di Gunung Klabat, Minahasa Utara. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini ialah estimasi densitas Tangkasi berdasarkan vokalisasi (duet call) sesuai dengan yang dikembangkan oleh Saroyo et al (2014). Pada setiap elevasi dibuat 10 plot yang berbentuk lingkaran dengan diameter 100 m. Jarak antar plot 200 m. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, densitas tangkasi pada elevasi 500 mdpl (2,04 individu/Ha), elevasi 1000 mdpl (2,68 individu/Ha), elevasi 1500 mdpl (0,89 individu/Ha) dan elevasi 2000 mdpl (0,12 individu/Ha)
