This final project adopts Marxist theory of capitalism. The theory is used to figure out the impact of capitalism on the society. The method used in this study is cinematic analysis and textual analysis. To get the data, the writer reads books and took some notes that are related to the topic, both trough the library research and the internet. The conclusion of this final project shows that the working class makes resistances to the capitalist; and the working class needs a freedom to actualize themselve

    For a Reactive Virtual Trainer(RVT), subtle timing and lifelikeness\ud of motion is of primary importance. To allow for reactivity, movement\ud adaptation, like a change of tempo, is necessary. In this paper we\ud investigate the relation between movement tempo, its synchronization to\ud verbal counting, time distribution, amplitude, and left-right symmetry of\ud a clapping movement. We analyze motion capture data of two subjects\ud performing a clapping exercise, both freely and timed by a metronome.\ud Our findings are compared to existing gesture research and existing biomechanical models. We found that, for our subjects, verbal counting adheres\ud to the phonological synchrony rule. A linear relationship between\ud the movement path length and the tempo was found. The symmetry between\ud the left and the right hand can be described by the biomechanical\ud model of two coupled oscillators

    Super Agent Chatbot “3S” sebagai Media Informasi Menggunakan Metoda Natural Language Processing(NLP)

    STMIK Amik Riau memiliki portal pada website http://www.sar.ac.id difungsikan sebagai media penyebaran informasi bagi sivitas akademika dan stakeholder. Rerata pengunjung setiap hari dalam 3 bulan terakhir adalah 150 kunjungan, namun terjadi peningkatan pada saat penerimaan mahasiswa di setiap tahun akademik. Hal ini mengindikasikan terjadinya peningkatan minat masyarakat untuk mengetahui informasi STMIK Amik Riau. Sayangnya, sampai saat ini pemanfaatan portal web site masih satu arah, dari STMIK Amik Riau ke stakeholder dan masyarakat, tidak terjadi sebaliknya. Komunikasi stakeholder dengan PT sehubungan dengan muatan yang ada di dalam portal menggunakan media sosial dan tidak terintegrasi dengan web.  Begitu juga dengan masukan, koreksi, tanggapan, maupun komunikasi lain menggunakan media sosial.  Sampai saat ini, masyarakat yang mengunjungi portal website baik masyarakat luas, maupun stakeholder tidak dapat dideteksi waktu berkunjung sehingga tidak dapat disapa dengan filosofi “3S”, padahal masyarakat luas yang telah berkunjung merupakan pasar potensial untuk di edukasi. Masyarakat yang berkunjung ke portal website, dengan sopan di sapa oleh sistem, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan komunikasi langsung, tersedia mesin yang siap memberikan salam  dan melayani setiap pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh pengunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat chatbot yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan pengunjung website.  Chatbot  yang telah dibuat diberi nama STMIK Amik Riau Intelligence Virtual Information disingkat SILVI.  Chatbot dibuat berdasarkan Question Answering Systems (QAS), bekerja dengan algoritma kemiripan antara dua teks. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi yang siap digunakan, diberi nama SILVI, mampu berkomunikasi dengan pengunjung website. Chatbot mengoptimalkan komunikasi seolah tidak menyadari, tetap menganggap lawan bicara adalah pegawai yang tepat dalam tugas pokok dan fungsi. &nbsp

    Analysis of student-tutor coaching dialogs suggest that good human tutors attend to and attempt to influence the motivational state of learners. Moreover, they are sensitive to the social face of the learner, and seek to mitigate the potential face threat of their comments. This paper describes a dialog generator for pedagogical agents that takes motivation and face threat factors into account. This enables the agent to interact with learners in a socially appropriate fashion, and foster intrinsic motivation on the part of the learner, which in turn may lead to more positive learner affective states

    THE FACTORS ANALYSIS TO BEHAVIOR IN SELECTION OF CONTRACEPTION METHODS ON MEN IN REPRODUCTIVE AGE COUPLES BASED ON HEALTH BELIEF MODEL (HBM) IN KENJERAN SURABAYA

    Husband participation is one of the factor in developing the reproduction health programs, such as the use of contraception methods . Health Belief Model (HBM) is one of theory used to examine the behavior. HBM used to evaluate and to explain the individual differences in preventive behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors related to behavior in selection of contraception methods on men in reproductive age couples based on HBM. The design of this study was cross sectional approach. The population were men in reproductive age couples in Bulak Banteng Kenjeran district. The 56 sample respondents were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The independent variables in this study were perceived susceptibility, perceived seriousness, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived self efficacy and cues to action. The dependent variable was the contraception methods selection behavior. The data was collected using questionnare and analyzed using chi square test with a degree of significance α ≤ 0,05. The result showed a significant correlation between perceived susceptibility (p=0,044), perceived seriousness (p=0,001), perceived benefits (p=0,000), perceived barriers (p=0,001), perceived self efficacy (p=0,022), cues to action person (p=0,005), and cues to action event (p=0,022) with the contraception methods selection behavior. The factors of Health Belief Model have significant correlation with the contraception methods selection behavior. Further research to develop factors of HBM to intervene to improve the behavior of the selection method of male contraception was suggested.
