    金属氧化物SPC簇模型方法——嵌入簇点电量的确定

    探讨和比较了确定金属氧化物晶体点电荷量的几种自洽条件的优劣 ,并使用abinitioHF方法对在不同点电荷量嵌入环境下MgO簇电子性质进行了研究 .计算结果表明 :点电荷量的大小会明显影响嵌入簇的电子性质 ;即使MgO被通常认为是纯的离子型氧化物 ,点电荷量取为表观化合价± 2 ,仍过高地估计了Madelung势 ,嵌入簇与点电荷之间应满足一定的自洽条件 ;使用点电荷为嵌入环境时 ,即使达到电荷自洽、偶极矩自洽或势自洽 ,簇模型计算结果仍与固体性质存在一定的偏差 ;将点电荷进行球谐展开 ,赋予其连续变化的电荷密度分布后 ,得到了一个对固体整体性质描述较好的SPC簇模型

    Titanium Carbide Coatings on Carbon Fiber

    TiC coating of carbon fiber is one of the method to improve bonding and wetting of the fiber to metal materials like Al. In the present work, chemical vapor deposition of TiC on high strength carbon fibers (360 kg/mm2) tows, was examined by the reaction of TiCl4 and CH4 or of TiCl4 and carbon fiber itself at 1000-1050℃. The reactant gas was diluted with H2 or N 2. The electric furnace used was horizontal or vertical. In the case of the deposition by the TiCl4-CH4-H2 system, very rough TiC coatings of 2-3μm in thickness were formed on the outer fibers of the tow, though the deposition was very sparse on the inner fibers. However, the adhesive property of the coating to the carbon fiber was very poor, and some interfacial cracks were observed between the fiber and the coating. Tensile strength of the fiber・ decreased to 260-300 kg/mm2 after coating treatment. In case of the reaction of TiCl4 and carbon fiber itself in a hydrogen carrier, on the other hand, relatively smooth coatings were obtained throughout the fibers tow, and there were no interfacial cracks. However, tensile strength markedly decreased to 80-120 kg/mm2 because of the reaction of carbon fiber itself. Use of nitrogen carrier in place of hydrogen resulted less formation of the TiC coatings

    There are two types of mandibular condyle fractures. One is a direct fracture and the other is an indirect fracture. In any event, in many cases of mandibular condyle fractures, small bone fragments are dislocated by the pull of the lateral pterygoid muscle. Occasionally, small fragments deviate from the articular capsule and are found drived into the middle cranial fossa. These cases are treated by two methods. One is closed reduction, inclusively inter-maxillary fixation or physiotherapy, and the other is open reduction. However, there is no unified opinion regarding the indications inasmuch as the age of patients vary and in addition the position of the fracture and the dislocation of the segment differ, and the choice of oral surgeon must be considerd. In this report, a brief outline of the five cases of mandibular condyle fracture are given. The approach was open reduction by the preauricular incision, and the results were favorable

    There are many theories regarding the origin of the lateral cervical cyst, among them two main theories are mentioned. One is that the cyst arises from the embryonic branchial cleft and the other is that it originates from salivary gland epithelium enclosed in the embryonic lymphnodes. The investigators who support the former theory refer to it as the branchial cyst while the workers who support the latter refer to it as the lymphoepitherial cyst. The typical histologic feature is that the inner wall is covered with squamous epithelium and that lymphoid tissue is embedded in the outer wall. This cyst is located on the lateral side of the neck, hence it is called the lateral cervical cyst. Recently we have encountered two cases of this cyst, hence the outline of the cases will be given. CASE 1 : An 18-year-old female noticed a painless swelling on the right side of her neck two months hence. The swelling slowly increased in size and eventually she came to our clinic. Except for an egg-like diffuse swelling that fluctuated to palpation, her condition was aggravated. 15ml of yellowish liquid solution was aspirated by puncture probatoria and the cyst was diagnosed as a lateral cervical cyst. As a result the cyst was surgically removed. This case was diagnosed as a lateral cervical cyst, "BaileyI type," by operative and post operative pathological findings. CASE 2 : A 15-year-old female child noticed two walnut-like swellings on the right side of her upper neck about six months before coming to our clinic and was immediate referred to a surgeon. At surgery one cyst was removed. The cyst was diagnosed as non-mallignant. After surgery the remaining cyst grew in size and dimension. The swelling was 50mm in diameter on the center right side of the angulus mandiblae. At the first we considered the swelling as tuberculous lymphadenitis but after further examination we diagnosed the case as lateral cervical cyst and thus removed it by surgical methods. The cyst was diagnosed as a lateral cervical cyst, "Bailey II type" by operative and pathological findings

    <臨床>Dent-osseous plastyによる上顎前突症の手術例

    Many reports are available in which surgical correction of maxillary protrusion using Wassmund\u27s method or Wunderer\u27s method are perfomed. Complicated maxillaryprotrusion such as in certain cases with crowding teeth can not be surgically correct by these methods. But there are only a few reports about dento-osseous surgery for such deformities in Japan, because many workers retain some apprehensions as to bone healing of small segments. Recently we performed dento-osseous plasty and mental plasty on a 26 years old female with remarkable maxillary protrusion, crowding of some incisors and mental recession (Class II division I by Angle).We recognized the recovery of sensory of incisors on the segment 14 weeks after operation and removed all splints and retainers 4 months after operation

    杉浦康平のアジアンデザイン研究(ポスターと冊子を中心に)

     本研究は2012 年度共同研究から継続している、杉浦康平名誉教授のデザイン活動の包括的研究の一環である。これまでの活動として「ポスターアーカイブ」構築、ポスター展2 回、単行本出版などがある。それらの成果をふまえて2017 年度は「アジアンデザイン」の側面にフォーカスして、5 回の連続インタビューを企図した。 杉浦名誉教授は、今年3 月まで本学アジアンデザイン研究所において、所長として研究活動を主導してきた。その60 年以上におよぶデザイン活動の中で、多くの重要な業績を残してきたが、「アジアンデザイン」概念の確立は、本学との関係においても特に重要なものとして位置づけられる。ポスター・冊子類のデザインからはじまって、その活動は、さまざまなアジア文化紹介の構想・企画までを包含するものに拡張し、デザインの領域を超える幅広い業績を残した。一方、そうしたデザイン活動を通じて、独自のアジア図像研究の領域を切り拓き、図像的想像力に充ちた大胆な仮説の提唱により、独自の図像論を確立し、数多くの著書を発表している。モダンデザインの牙城であるドイツのウルム造形大学での教鞭体験から、アジアンデザインにいたる道程は限りない大遠征のようにすら見える。われわれ共同研究組織は、その間に何があったのか、本人の率直な言葉として記録することを目指した。This research program comprises an important part of the comprehensive study of Professor Emeritus Kohei Sugiura’ s design activities originated from the 2012 joint research project. The research activities undertaken so far include the establishment of the Poster Archive, two exhibitions of posters designed by Sugiura, and the publication of a book on his design. Based on these results, the 2017 program featured a series of five interviews with him focusing on “Asian design.” Professor Emeritus Kohei Sugiura led the activities of the Research Institute of Asian Design of our university as its director until March 2018. Sugiura has made many considerable achievements throughout his career that spans over sixty years. Among them, the development of the concept of “Asian design” is considered particularly important for our university. A wide range of activities based on this concept include the design of various posters and booklets, and a number of projects to present different Asian cultures. The diverse achievements of these activities have cut across the boundaries between design and other disciplines. At the same time, Sugiura has opened up his original research filed of Asian iconography, proposed an imaginative hypothesis, developed a unique iconographic theory, and produced a number of books. Considering his teaching experience at the Ulm School of Design in Germany, the stronghold of modern design in the sixties, it seems that he has made a great journey to come down to the idea of Asian design. This research program was designed to record what happened during this journey through a series of candid interviews with him
