国際協力機構（JICA）とインドネシア国保健省との合意が2012 年に成立し、「インドネシア看護実践能力強化プロジェクト」が開始された。本学クリティカルケア領域は、災害看護／クリティカルケア／救急看護分野におけるカリキュラム開発を支援することとなった。クリティカルケア基礎カリキュラム（ICU カリキュラム）の教育手段の一つとしてシミュレーション教育を導入するため、2014 年に患者シミュレーターがインドネシア大学ほか5 大学に供与された。短期専門家は、シミュレーション教育の導入と定着、患者シミュレーターの有効活用とマネジメントの確立、指導者育成に向けた支援をミッションとして活動を開始した。インドネシア国の医療と看護のニーズに適応した教材をカウンターパート自身が開発できることを目標とし、教授設計を基盤としたシミュレーション教育の指導に取り組んだ。インドネシア国でのワークショップは、2015 年、2016 年、2017 年に1 回ずつ実施した。最終的には、教授設計に基づいたシナリオ開発とシミュレーション教育の実践、カウンターパートによるワークショップの開催が可能となり、当プロジェクトへのミッションは完了した。今後はカウンターパートが中心となり、クリティカルケア領域に従事する看護師を対象としたICU カリキュラムの運用が始まる予定である。本稿は実践報告として、第2 回と第3 回のワークショップの目標達成度を振り返り、完了したミッションの成果と課題について報告する。The objective of the present study was to evaluate practical training for simulation-basedlearning in the basic critical care curriculum part 2 and part 3 of the Project for Enhancement ofNursing Competency in Indonesia through In-Service Training. The project was implemented from2012 to 2017 under the agreement on technical cooperation between the Japan InternationalCooperation Agency (JICA) and the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Indonesia.Methodologically, disaster nursing/critical care/emergency nursing curriculum was developed,assisted by the critical care unit members of Japanese Red Cross Kyushu International College ofNursing. In 2014 the participants were the University of Indonesia and five other universities,where patient simulators were donated to test simulation-based learning as one of the instructionaltools in basic critical care curriculum, that is, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) curriculum. Short-termexperts facilitated their Indonesian counterparts to develop training materials that would fulfill themedical and nursing care needs in Indonesia. They aimed at the initiation and establishment ofsimulation-based learning, effective use of patient simulators and their management, and supportfor instructor training. They focused on teaching simulation-based learning based on aninstructional design in the workshops held in Indonesia once a year in 2015, 2016, and 2017.As a result, the achievements of the completed missions were clarified through theinvestigation of the goal attainment for the second and third workshops: first, the Indonesiancounterparts became able to develop scenarios based on the instructional design to implementsimulation-based learning; second, they were also skilled in holding workshops independently; andthird, the experts confirmed the objective of this project was attained. On the other hand, thechallenges were also revealed: first, to improve instructional skills; second, to train instructors; third,to build management capabilities for implementing simulation-based learning; and fourth, toevaluate and verify simulation-based learning.In conclusion, it is anticipated that soon the counterparts will be proficient in taking charge ofimplementing ICU curriculum for nurses who work in the critical care domain.Repor
