Rigorózní práce "Senior-dobrovolník v sociální práci" pojednává o dobrovolné činnosti seniorů, v oblasti sociální práce a objasňuje, jak jejich činnost ovlivňuje jejich život v období seniorského věku. Teoretická část práce podává ucelený pohled na problematiku seniorského věku a jeho hlavní představitele, seniora/seniorky a kvalitu jejich života v naší společnosti. Dále se zabývá pohledem na seniora-dobrovolníka v současné seniorské populaci, specifičností, možnostmi a úskalími v práci se seniory-dobrovolníky, začleňováním seniorů- dobrovolníků do sociální práce a konkrétními příklady dobrovolnické činnosti seniorů v sociální práci v různých organizacích v České republice. Podrobně jsou podle zahraničních zdrojů zpracovány příklady dobrovolnictví seniorů ve vybraných evropských i mimoevropských zemích. Druhá část rigorózní práce je zpracována v podobě výzkumného šetření, jehož cílem bylo zmapovat problematiku dobrovolnictví seniorů v sociální práci na základě dvoufázového výzkumného šetření a zjistit, jaké hodnoty přináší seniorům dobrovolnictví v sociální práci v oblasti prohloubení sociálních kontaktů, fyziologických změn, psychologického rozvoje a duchovního rozvoje, ale také jaké dopady má na seniory jejich činnost v dobrovolné práci. The Use of Technology Local Heating by Laser for Turning of Difficult to Machine Materials

Import 23/07/2015Bakalářská práce se zabývá metodou předehřevu těžceobrobitelných materiálů, konkrétně za pomocí laserové technologie. V první části je popsán princip, rozdělení způsobů předehřevu a konkrétní použití laseru při soustružení a frézování. Ve druhé části je proveden rozbor stávající technologie výroby a použitý materiál. Následuje návrh nové technologie místního ohřevu laserem pro soustružení, zvolení nového stroje, úprava technologického postupu a použitých nástrojů. V závěrečné části práce je provedeno technicko- ekonomické zhodnocení stávající technologie v porovnání se navrhovanou z hlediska výrobních časů a nákladů.The bachelor thesis deals with the method of preheating of difficult to machine materials, in particular using laser technology. The first part describes the principle, classification methods preheating and specific laser for turning and milling. The second part is an analysis of the existing technology. The following is a proposal for a new local heating laser technology for turning, the election of a new machine, the adjustment of the technological process and tools used. Utilization of the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with the Capacity Limitation of Nodes in Water Transportation

The paper discusses the option of using the capacitated vehicle routing problem with the capacity limitation of nodes in water transportation. The problem is used to design circular routes for vehicles of different carriers, each of which services the selected nodes of the transportation network. The goal is to design circular routes where the capacity of vehicles is not exceeded and the value of the objective function is minimal. The limited capacity of nodes is given by the limited number of vehicles that can be operated at a particular node at any given time. The problem allows to design circulation so that the waiting time of vehicles to release the capacity of the node is minimized. This makes it possible to achieve an additional reduction in the total traffic time. The possibility of using the role of the CVRPCLN in water transportation is demonstrated in a case study for the design of circular routes for vessels serving ports. The design of routes is performed using the described problem and using the capacitated vehicle routing problem, which does not take into account the limited capacity of the nodes. To solve both problems, the author uses an evolutionary algorithm, which is part of the optimization module Solver. A comparison of the results indicates that the use of the investigated task can lead to a significant reduction in waiting times in ports for selected tasks in the field of water transportation. Quantitative characteristics of inhomogeneous microstructure in UFG copper

The ultrafine-grained microstructure of pure copper processed by equal-channel angular pressing and its temperature-induced changes were evaluated in order to characterize heterogeneous distribution of fine- and larger-sized grains in the microstructure. ECAP was conducted at room temperature with a die that had an internal angle of 90° between the two parts of the channel. The subsequent extrusion passes were performed by route Bc up to 8 ECAP passes and tested under constant load. Creep test was performed on the samples processed by 8 ECAP passes in tension at 373 K under an applied stress 260 MPa. The analyses of microstructure were performed by 3 dimensional electron-back scatter diffraction (3D EBSD) technique. The volume characteristics of microstructure and its inhomogeneity were evaluated and the relationships microstructure/creep behaviour of UFG copper was discussed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

The Elderly Person as a Volunteer in Social Work

The PhD thesis "A senior-volunteer in social work" concerns senior volunteering in all fields of social work and it also clarifies the impact on the senior volunteers' living world. The theoretical part deals with a complex view of seniors' ageing with its leading male/female senior citizen representatives and also deals with the quality of seniors' living conditions in the modern society. Furthermore it follows up perspective of the senior volunteer in the current senior generation with its specify, chances, opportunities and difficulties of senior volunteering work, integration of senior volunteers into social work and also produce real examples of senior volunteering in social work through many different institutions in the Czech republic. According to foreign sources of information both in some European and non-European countries Japan, detailed compiled examples of senior volunteering are adapted. The second part of the PhD thesis is processed in the form of a research survey, which aimed to map the work of senior volunteers in social services, its benefits, risks and barriers based on a two-phase research survey. Ageism in the Czech republic

The diploma thesis "Ageism in the Czech republic" explores areas, where Czech seniors are perceived in discriminatory manners. It maps where they can encounter such behaviors, how do they manifest and which parts of society display those ageist attitudes. For the research I have used a qualitative inquiry way of focus groups and further individual interviews. Research sample was formed partly by seniors living in nursing home and partly by those ones living at home, relatively self-reliantly. The obtained data was analyzed, coded by opened and selective coding and after that evaluated. To achieve good validity of research I have used Q-sorting as an auxiliary method in research sample of young adults working in social services or in related areas. The data I received was analyzed by correlation analysis. I have defined basic and most important points from all levels of research where seniors perceived discriminatory behavior and pressure for young and adult populations. As a suitable prevention I have established the education to values and familiarization with problems of seniors
