The fall of man into sin has made man fail to understand God's truth about creation of the universe. Humans seek to uncover the truth of creation with secularism, which focuses on their thought and rejects God as creator. Worldview of creation that opposes God as Creator has become philosophical issues in Christian education that must be criticized with Biblical truth. Christian teachers have responsibility to shape students' worldview based on the Bible. This paper has purpose to examine Christian teachers’ role in shaping students' worldview of creation of the universe based on Biblical truth. The study was conducted with a study literature method that discusses three focuses named students’ worldview of creation of the universe, the role of Christian teachers in education, and the role of Christian teachers in shaping students' worldview. The worldview is formed from doctrine of Biblical creation. The role of the Christian teacher in shaping students' worldview is the responsibility of guiding and directing students learning orderliness of the universe which is by God’s work in Biblical truth. The next research suggested to carry out further analysis of students' perceptions and responses the understanding of creation as a form of evaluation of Christian teacher teaching practices

Andaliman (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.) is one of the endemic plants originating from North Sumatra. This plant is known for its benefits as a special seasoning spice in Batak tribe community. Humans as the image of God are given the ability to conduct an investigation and development of what God has created so that science begins to develop to investigate the potential of andaliman plants in the field of health. This writing aims to determine: 1) morphological and physiological characteristics of andaliman, 2) habitat of andaliman, and 3) utilization of andaliman as antioxidant and antibacterial agent. The method of writing used in the preparation of this article is the study of literature. The results of the literature study show that the andaliman plant has a tap root, woody stems, green, odd-numbered and jagged-edged compound leaves, pale yellow flowers, pepper-shaped fruits, and shiny black or wrinkled black seeds with thick and hard seed shells. Andaliman habitat is a place with an altitude of 1200-1500 masl with an average temperature of 15-18 ÃÅ  C and rainfall of 800-1000 mm/year and soil pH 5.5-7.6. Andaliman fruit contains 29 components of essential oils such as geranyl, cytronella, ò-cytronelol, and nerol which have antioxidant activity. Andaliman fruit extract also has antibacterial activity, which inhibits the growth of microbes such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Bacillus cereus, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Aspergillus flavus, Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus

Character is a basic thing that must be owned by students as the basis for ways of thinking and behaving and reflecting their identity. However, the facts show that many students experience a character crisis. This is shown through bullying and undisciplined and irresponsible attitudes that show that it is very important to build student character. Based on the philosophy of Christian axiology, ethics has an important role in the process of building students' characters who are more like Christ. Students as representatives of God are expected to have good character according to the values of truth and reflect the character of Christ. However, they fall into sin has caused humans to tend to take actions that are contrary to the values of truth. This also happens to students who are shown through acts of bullying, stealing, cheating, and other negative things. The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of the teacher as a role model to build student character based on a review of Christian axiological philosophy by using the literature review method. The results obtained indicate that the role of Christian teachers as role models is very important in efforts to build student character. Christian teachers who have been born again and are led by the Holy Spirit will be enabled to understand axiological values based on Bible truth so that they can provide concrete examples to shape students' character in the form of exemplary attitudes and actions. It is recommended for further research to examine and analyze more deeply the role of the teacher as a role model in the building of student character

Copper pollution in the East Coast of Surabaya is one of the serious cases of heavy metal pollution in Indonesia. Pollution at this location has been proven to result in fish deaths and brain damage of local residents because they consume too much copper-contaminated fish. Copper bioremediation using indigen bacteria isolated from polluted environments is a promising solution to overcome copper pollution problems. Bacteria that commonly live in polluted environments can be isolated and used as copper bioremediation agents. This study aims to do: 1) isolation and characterization of copper resistant bacteria from the East Coast of Surabaya, 2) resistance testing of bacterial isolates, and 3) copper accumulation and biosorbtion tests of bacterial isolates. The bacterial isolates were characterized by the morphology of the colonies and their cells based on Gram staining. Resistance testing is done by determining Minimum Inhibitory Concentration/MIC. The accumulation test is carried out by separating the cell and growth medium, then each of them is distructed using HNO3. The results of isolation and characterization obtained six isolates of copper-resistant bacteria, namely PmbC1, PmbC2, PmbC3, PmbC4, PmbC5, and PmbC6 with MIC = 3 mM - 5mM CuSO4. PmbC4 isolate is the most resistant bacteria with the MIC of 5 mM and is capable of accumulating copper of 6.25 mg per gram of cell dry weight and biosorbtion of 92.17%

Mercury pollution due to gold mining at Pongkor Village can threaten the life of organisms because mercury is toxic. Bioremediation can be considered to reduce mercury concentration in the water. The mercury-resistant bacteria can be isolated from the area and may be developed as mercury bioremediation agents. This study aims to isolate mercury-resistant bacteria, test their resistance to mercury, and conduct protein profile studies after mercury induction. The mercury-resistant bacteria were isolated from soil samples in the Pongkor Village gold mining area and the isolate resistance to HgCl2 was measured based on the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) value. The protein profile was analyzed using SDS PAGE gel electrophoresis. The results showed that two of the most resistant bacterial isolates to mercury were HgP1 and HgP2 with MIC value was 575 ppm. The protein profile showed that mercury induced decreased protein synthesis under normal conditions and increased synthesis of one protein suspected to play a role in the mechanism of bacterial resistance to mercury

Copper pollution in Cisadane is a serious environmental issue that needs to be resolved immediately due to its negative impacts on river ecosystems. Bioremediation utilising indigenous bacteria offers excellent potential to restore copper‐contaminated river water. This study aimed to obtain indigenous copper‐resistant bacteria isolated from the Cisadane River as copper bioremediation agents. Bacteria from Cisadane River water samples were isolated by the spread plate method on Luria Bertani medium containing 3 mM CuSO4. Resistance was determined based on the minimum inhibitory concentration value, while copper concentration was measured using an atomic absorption spec‐ trophotometer. The results presented a total of 13 bacterial isolates with a minimum inhibitory concentration of up to 8 mM CuSO4. Sequence alignment analysis was performed on three selected copper‐resistant bacteria, i.e. isolate IrCis1, IrCis4 and IrCis13, which were identified as Pantoea agglomerans, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Shigella flexneri based on 16S rRNA, respectively. Each isolate accumulated copper at 1.19 mg, 1.34 mg and 0.92 mg/g DW of cells, with copper biosorption potentials of 73.74%, 70.17% and 67.73%, respectively. In conclusion, P. agglomerans strain IrCis1, K. pneu‐ moniae strain IrCis4 and S. flexneri strain IrCis5 isolated from the Cisadane River can be used as copper bioremediation agents
