The influence of parents on cohabitation in Italy: insights from two regional contexts

In view of the demographic changes that affect all European countries, the diffusion of new living arrangements such as non-marital cohabitation is particularly interesting. In this article we concentrate on Italy, a country that is characterized by a low pace in the diffusion of cohabitation. Earlier studies found statistical evidence of the impact of parents’ characteristics on young adults’ decisions for cohabitation. However, there is only limited empirical knowledge about the actual mechanism through which parents influence the choices of their children. We employ qualitative research methods and focus on two regional contexts in order to analyze if and how parents intervene in the choices young adults.Italy, cohabitation, parents, qualitative methods

QUANDO BAILARINAS ENVELHECEM: gênero, corpo e envelhecimento

Se os corpos são gendrados, as experiências perante o envelhecimento também o são. Mulheres e homens vivenciam, portanto, o processo de envelhecimento de maneira distinta. Normalmente encarada como uma etapa da vida atrelada a consequências negativas, a velhice para as mulheres é cruel por se relacionar com a perda da capacidade reprodutiva. Envelhecer implica em mudanças no corpo e para as mulheres que possuem o corpo como instrumento de trabalho, como é o caso das bailarinas, esse processo pode ser ainda mais difícil de ser administrado. Este artigo busca analisar como mulheres bailarinas lidam com o processo de envelhecimento, atentando-se para as mudanças físicas e subjetivas. Les futurs possibles du dopage representés [sic] à l'aide de la cartographie de l'information

Le but de ce travail est de comprendre quels seront les futurs possibles du dopage en utilisant la cartographie de l’information. Le travail comporte une recherche et une analyse de 150 articles de presse traitant de la pratique du dopage. Les informations répertoriées sur Internet seront représentées à l’aide de la cartographie de l’information. La visualisation sous forme de cartes permettra d’illustrer les principales tendances concernant le phénomène du dopage. Les quatre cartographies ont été élaborées par Monsieur Fonta sur la base de mes données. Ces cartes m’ont permis de faire ressortir les principales dynamiques du dopage et de déceler trois futurs scénarios envisageables. Sur la base de ces derniers, j’ai choisi celui qui me paraissait être le plus souhaitable pour les athlètes, leur entourage et la société. En conclusion, j’ai proposé des recommandations afin de faciliter la réalisation du scénario le plus favorable à la pérennité du sport

Hitherto unpublished reports of the excavations by the Società Vincenzo Campanari – Governo Pontificio at Vulci found at the German Archaeological Institute in Rome provide an important contribution to the better understanding of the early excavations at Vulci, their temporal and spatial progress, the dissemination of the finds, and the mechanisms of the art market in the late 1830s. The reports – signed by Domenico Campanari and addressed to Karl Josias von Bunsen – span the entire second excavation season between November 9th 1835 and May 28th 1836 both on the plateau of the Etrusco-Roman city and in the necropolis. We have been able to identify a group of 37 objects in various European and non-European museums and collections and connect them with the excavations of the Campanaris in Vulci. Consumo etico ed economia solidale: analisi empirica sui GAS in Italia.

In Italia da oltre una decina di anni si stanno espandendo pratiche di consumo che non sono riconducibili ai classici criteri di natura economica, bensì un ampio numero di consumatori attua sempre più comportamenti di consumo orientati sulle scelte di tipo etico e sociale, rifiutando simboli e brand largamente accettati dalla società. Un quarto degli italiani conosce il mercato equo solidale ed il 40% dei cittadini compie scelte di consumo critico, e di questi il 57,3% si dedica ad acquisti di prodotti del fair trade. All’interno dell’economia solidale si colloca il fenomeno Gruppi di Acquisto Solidale (GAS) che sta crescendo e si sta espandendo ogni anno sempre di più, affermando uno stile ed una filosofia di vita volto a cambiare le regole di mercato. Il primo GAS nasce nel 1994 a Fidenza, con lo scopo di attuare un approccio critico al consumo applicando i principi di equità, solidarietà e giustizia negli acquisti svolti collettivamente presso i produttori locali. Dal documento di base redatto dalla Rete GAS si possono identificare 4 linee guida che spingono i soggetti a costituire un GAS e ispirano le scelta dei loro acquisti: 1. Sviluppare e mettere in pratica il consumo critico: i consumatori devono sviluppare un atteggiamento critico ed acquistare i prodotti verificando che siano stati coltivati secondo il principio del rispetto dei diritti dell’uomo e dell’ambiente. 2. Sviluppare e creare solidarietà e consapevolezza: è una solidarietà intesa in senso ampio, parte dai membri del gruppo stesso, ai produttori che forniscono i prodotti biologici, fino a comprendere nel rispetto dell’ambiente, i popoli del Sud del mondo e tutti coloro subiscono le conseguenze inique del modello di sviluppo tradizionale. 3. Socializzare: il bisogno e il desiderio di condividere con altri le proprie idee, pensieri e decisioni con lo scopo di creare una rete di amicizia e di solidarietà con i membri del gruppo, e creare un rapporto diretto tra consumatore e produttore. 4. L’unione fa la forza: i GAS acquistano collettivamente dai piccoli produttori locali al fine di evitare l’intermediazione delle multinazionali in modo da realizzare un vantaggio economico equo sia per il produttore sia per il consumatore, poiché si applicano prezzi vantaggiosi rispetto ai medesimi prodotti venduti dalla Grande Distribuzione Organizzata. Nel 2013 tale fenomeno comprende 1444 GAS, considerando che per ogni gruppo in media esistono 10-20 nuclei familiari, può essere affermato che coinvolge ben circa 70.000 persone, prevedendo che negli anni successivi tale numero aumenti. In tale elaborato è stata analizzata la rilevanza del fenomeno, le motivazioni che hanno portato i soggetti ad entrare e creare un gruppo, ed in fine quali sono le ambizioni ed aspirazioni che tali consumatori critici cercano di raggiungere, testando e cercando di capire se questo mercato alternativo possa integrarsi o in parte sostituirsi con il sistema di mercato tradizionale

The essay analyzes the theatrical cosmogony of Carlo Quartucci and the Compagnia della Ripresa, built around the understanding of Samuel Beckett's dramaturgy with a primary focus on Waiting for Godot (The three first performances, 1959 - Teatro Brancaccio, Compagnia universitaria Latino- Metronio; 1964 - Teatro Stabile di Genova, Compagnia del Teatro Studio; 1965 - Festival di S. Beckett, Prima Porta Roma, Compagnia della Ripresa – Teatro Mobile). Furthermore, with the aid of unpublished interviews with Carlo Quartucci and Carla Tatò, Cosimo Cinieri and Emiliano Tolve, this study digs deeper inside the lesser known influences on Quartuccis's poetic such as the study of texts on figure and form by the art historian Carlo Lodovico Ragghianti and the "conceptual" work in the studio with the photographer Lisetta Carmi and his ideal and posthumous relationship with conceptual artist Marcel Broodthaer
