    Penelitian ini membahas tentang apliaksi web portal system informasi akademik perguruan tinggi dengan basis data terdisribusi. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan RUP. RUP adalah salah satu jenis metodologi berorientasi objek, sehingga analisis dan peranvangan yang digunakan menggunakan UML. Aplikasi web portal system informasi akademik ini terintegrasi dalam satu domain tetapi memiliki basis data terdistribusi. Dengan kata lain penelitian ini mengintegrasikan system terdistribusi pada system infomasi akademik. Pemrograman yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah PHP dengan framework code igniter dan basis data mysql. Framework code igniter menggunakan pola patern MVC (model view Control). Metode patern ini membagi aplikasi menjadi tiga kelas

    The web portal technology by Nigerian universities was adopted as a way to help curb one of the burdens of university’s principal managerial operations: “students’ academic management”. This study evaluates usability or "ease of use" of University of Benin (UNIBEN) web portal from the students’ holistic view through the four usability constructs (interface and information quality, system usefulness and overall satisfaction) of the developed Web Portal Usability Success (WEBPUS) Model. It  revealed that the informative features and usefulness of the web portal system has not encouraged students’ usability behaviour due to the portal’s inefficiencies to effectively  and satisfactorily achieve a range of specified or completed tasks irrespective of their competences in basic computer and internet capabilities.http://dx.doi.org/10.4314/njt.v33i2.

However, with so many websites makes the user (users) difficult to obtain such information at a time. Users are required to open the website one by one which takes quite a long time.This study uses web grabbing technique or what is often referred to as web scrapping / web fetching, the technique of taking content from a server or website and display it in the system. In its implementation, the system uses the PHP cURL library which is used to retrieve the content of the website. Integrated web portal system is able to retrieve contents the latest information of website and be able to display it back on the system without need to enter or change the data.     Does the Government Effectively in Optimizing Open Data? Analysis "Jago Data" in Yogyakarta Municipality

    Open Government Data (OGD) is a database produced by the government that can be freely accessed, used or modified, therefore, this is a support to increase transparency and public participation. This article aims to analyze the effectively optimizing Open Government Data on the Jogja Go Open Data “JAGO DATA” in Yogyakarta Municipality. Furthermore, the methodology of this article uses qualitative research with in-depth interviews and literature, moreover, the variables of this research are focused on legal guidelines and frameworks (crosstab query is 47.5%), the ability of web portal system (crosstab query is 27.5%), and human resource in government and its attitude (crosstab query is 25%), therefore, its data findings were analyzed with Nvivo 12 plus software. The result of this article shows that the Yogyakarta city government successfully implemented JAGO DATA to support transparency, accountability, and encourage public participation, moreover, it is has implemented directives regarding Open Data regulation and its innovation designed with a collaborative among regional-level work units (SKPD). Therefore, the JAGO DATA portal is rated as user-friendly with the model used at the information stage and its maturity of a web portal is still in the pre-adoption level
