PAUD accreditation is a tangible form of assessing the feasibility of the quality of the program run by the PAUD unit. This study aims to examine various literatures on the accreditation of PAUD units based on Sispena 3.1. The research method used is literature review, researchers collect data from various literatures to solve a problem. The results of the study obtained are (1) in attaching the assessment process documents in accordance with the Accreditation Prerequisite Assessment (PPA) instrument through SISPENA 3.1; (2) the assessor conducts an assessment process for the classification of applications for accreditation (KPA); (3) Education units in fulfilling the PPA can be assisted by the integration of an external database with the Sispena 3.1 application; (4) The data collection procedure for Sispena 3.1 starts from the PPA filling stage to the Validation and Verification stage to determine the accreditation result

One way forward: non-traditional accounting disclosures in the 21st century

Recent empirical studies (Deegan and Rankin, 1999; Deegan et al., 2000) have indicated that although many corporations have begun to respond to perceived demand for environmental disclosures in published accounts, their perspective of organisational legitimacy is a narrow view, in which information is targeted towards specific stakeholders and not to the general public. This paper considers a range of models (variously called guidelines, standards and charters) which have been put forward by different organisations to aid the development of social and environmental disclosures. In all cases verification and attestation are part of the proposed regimen. The question which the papers attempts to answer is whether any one of the models would be capable of rapid adoption as part of an expanded GAAP, should the professional accounting bodies think that this is desirable. The outcome of our deliberations is cautious support for the use of EMAS and ISO 14000 as the basis for a modified GAAP plus the further development of the GRI 2000 guidelines into a set of standards covering both social and environmental reporting

The Validation of an Infrared Simulation System

A commonly-used term in the simulation domain is ‘validation, verification and accreditation’ (VVA). When analysing simulation predictions for the purpose of system solution development and decision-making, one key question persist: “What confidence can I have in the simulation and its results? ” Knowing the validation status of a simulation system is critical to express confidence in the simulation. A practical validation procedure must be simple and done in the regular course of work. A well-known and acknowledged validation model by Schlesinger depicts the interaction between three entities: Reality, Conceptual Model and Computer Model, and three processes: Analysis & Modelling, Programming and Verification, and Evaluation and Validation. We developed a systematic procedure where each of these six elements is evaluated, investigated and then quantified in terms of a set of criteria (or model properties). Many techniques exist to perform the validation procedure. They include: comparison with other models, face validity, extreme condition testing, historical data validation and predictive validation - to mention a few. The result is a two- dimensional matrix representing the confidence in validation of each of the criteria (model properties) along each of the verification and validation elements. Depending on the nature of the element, the quantification of each cell in this matrix is done numerically or heuristically. Most often literature on validation for simulation systems only provides guidance by means of a theoretical validation framework. This paper briefly describes the procedure used to validate software models in an infrared system simulation, and provides application examples of this process. The discussion includes practical validation techniques, quantification, visualisation, summary reports, and lessons learned during the course of a validation process. The framework presented in this paper is sufficiently general, so that the concepts could be applied to other simulation environments as well

The political economy of the clean development mechanism (CDM) governance system.

In spite of the exponentially increasing volume of the CDM system of the Kyoto Protocol, very few have so far come up with scholarly political economy analysis of its governance system. Based on interviews with the CDM system’s main stakeholders as well as through scrutiny of CDM related documents, this paper will contribute to filling this hole. In this respect, it is assumed that the political economy analysis can be based on two analytical concepts: First, the CDM governance system has to be legitimate (the political side of the system), i.e. seen as broadly acceptable and accountable by its stakeholders as well as the broader public. Second, the CDM governance system has to be efficient (the economic side of the system), i.e. involve as few transaction costs as possible. Based on these concepts, the paper analyses the present balances of the CDM governance system.CDM, climate policy, legitimacy, efficiency

Kata kunci: peningkatan kompetensi; pembekalan asesor akreditasi; klasifikasi permohonan akreditasi ABSTRACTImproving the competence of assessors is important in order to deal with all stages of the accreditation process. The provision of accreditation assessors activities held by BAN PAUD and PNF in 2021 is a provision that must be followed by assessors, both PAUD and PKBM clusters in order to be assigned to accreditation activities, both accreditation assessment, visits, as well as validation and verification supported by the development of instruments that produce assessment instruments. accreditation. The process of implementing the debriefing activity for accreditation assessors is carried out online using the Zoom Meeting application. The form of contribution given to BAN PAUD and PNF Province of Central Sulawesi as a presenter to provide briefing to assessors in the form of presentation of material on data tracing techniques at the KPA stage, the PPA instrument, and assisting participants when carrying out the practice of implementing KPA. The result of this activity is that participants can carry out KPA assessments, namely verification and checking of the suitability of documents submitted by PAUD units with those required based on the 2021 accreditation implementation guidelines. Keywords: competency improvement; accreditation assessor debriefing; classification of accreditation application

A Next Generation of Quality Assurance Models : On Phases, Levels and Circles in Policy Development

    Get PDF
Quality assessment has been part of the feedback mechanisms of European higher education systems since around 1980. Due to internal dynamics, `erosionÂż of the effectiveness of firstgeneration quality assessment systems has led to loss of credibility (legitimacy) of these systems in the late 1990s. External dynamics also necessitate designing a next generation of quality assurance systems. They include notably a loss of transparency (hence, legitimacy) of the European higher education system through increased internationalisation (most notably through the Bologna process) which puts new, increased demands on institutional arrangements for quality assurance. In this paper, we first intend to schematise the developments of quality assurance in higher education by introducing a phase model of the effects of internal and external dynamics. Next, we will analyse this phase model from the perspective of argumentative policy inquiry. Finally, we will contrast policy developments in higher education with one other example, viz. environmental policy in the Netherlands. The conclusions of this comparison, as well as the new challenges set for quality assurance in higher education by the Bologna process, are the subject matter for the final section of our paper
