    E-modul Fisika Berbasis Proyek Terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Peserta Didik

    Keterampilan proses sains merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang penting dimiliki peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal pada materi fenomena dalam fluida statis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan jenis 4D meliputi pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan sampai pada tahap pengembangan karena penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berupa e-modul yang dikembangkan. Untuk mengetahui keyakan dari e-modul yang dikembangkan, penelitian ini menggunakan angket uji kelayakan yang terdiri dari tiga aspek penilaian dalam tiga belas indikator pernyataan. Responden angket uji kelayakan e-modul, yaitu satu dosen pendidikan fisika dan dua guru sekolah menengah atas yang mengampu mata pelajaran fisika. Hasil pengisian angket dianalisis dengan mengubah bentuk data menjadi bentuk persentase kemudian dikategorikan ke skala 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-modul masuk dalam kategori sangat layak pada dua aspek dan layak pada satu aspek. E-modul telah direvisi sesuai dengan saran dan komentar yang diberikan responden sehingga e-modul dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik

    AN ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH ITEM TEST ON FINAL EXAMINATION FOR NINTH GRADE AT MTSN 2 PADANG PARIAMAN

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the types and levels of English items tested on the final examination. This was a descriptive research method with content analysis. The data sources analyzed were based on English tests for the last 3 years (2019, 2020, and 2021 academic years) of 9th grade at MTSN 2 Padang Pariaman. The result of the data analysis revealed that most of the item tests were multiple-choice types. The cognitive applying rate was (44%), the cognitive understanding rate was (41%), and the cognitive remembering rate was (15%). It has been determined that the English tests are middle- and low-level. It implies that English teachers should design the test by balancing the cognitive levels, including the higher, middle, and low levels

    Penggunaan Multimedia Interaktif dengan Model Children Learning In Science untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Minat Belajar Kelas XI

    Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model Children Learning In Science berbasis multimedia interaktif mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis serta minat belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI. Riset ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi experiment. The matching pretest-posttest design digunakan sebagai desain penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling dimana sampelnya merupakan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen, serta satu kelas kontrol yaitu kelas XI IPA 3. Riset ini memakai teknik pengumpulan data yakni soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket minat belajar siswa, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model Children Learning In Science berbasis multimedia interaktif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,57 dan terkategori sedang pada kelas eksperimen, uji manova menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (sig.) sebesar 0,006 ≤ 0,05, serta ada pula pengaruh model Children Learning In Science berbasis multimedia interaktif terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas XI pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi dengan N-Gain di kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,31 yang mana masuk kategori sedang, uji manova nya menampilkan nilai probabilitas (sig.) sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05

    The objective of this research was to analyze the perception of teacher and students in implementing project-based learning from English teacher and the students at class XII IPA 3 SMAN 10 Padang. This research method is, mixed methods research, data were collected from questioner, interviews, and documentation. The sample of this research are English teacher and the students at class XII IPA 3 SMAN 10 Padang. There are two research question of this study namely 1) How do the teacher and students perceive toward the implementation of Project- Based Learning at class XII IPA 3 SMAN 10 Padang? 2) What are the difficulties faced by English teacher and the students of the implementation of PjBL in SMAN 10 Padang? The data was analyzed by SPSS Application and reduction- display-verify data. The results of this study indicated that perception English teacher and the students about implementation of project-based learning is in a good percentage with the highest mean score for each sub- indicator in questioners are 3.17, 3.38, 3.62, 3.48, 3,24 and 3.17. so, it can be concluded that the two research questions are answered. Firstly, teacher and students perceived positively to the implementation of PjBL. It was proved by favorable items in questioners have been chosen by most of students are agree and strongly agree, then for unfavorable items most of them choose disagree and strongly disagree the most. Secondly, time constraints and students’ abilities become the prior difficulties faced by both parties during PjBL process.     AN ANALYSIS OF CONVERSATIONAL IMPLICATURES OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN INTO THE WOODS MOVIE

    The purposes of this research were to analyse the types of conversational implicature in Into the Woods movie and to identify the maxim violations of conversational implicature in Into the Woods movie. Descriptive qualitative research was used as a type of research to discover and focus on the conversational meaning in the movie Into the Woods. There are some steps to analyse the data: identifying data, classifying data, analysing data, describing data, explaining data, and concluding the data. To focus on the research, the researcher limits the data into 23 data which contains types of conversational implicature and violence of maxim. The results of this study analysis indicated that there were nine types of conversational implicatures in Into the Woods Movie. Then, four data of generalized conversational implicature and five data of particularized conversational implicature. These data have shown in conversations of the movie, some implicatures are found where the characters rally used those two implicature types both implicit or particularized implicature and explicit or generalized implicature. Then, the second analysis on the maxim violation, there were four types of the maxims, they are maxim of quality, maxim of quantity, maxim of relation and maxim of manner. There are 14 data including maxim violations. There are six data included maxim of quality, one data included maxim of quantity, three data included maxim of relation, then four data included maxim of manner. The impact of maxim violation is the hurt of someone because others do not comply the cooperative principle. Furthermore, the researcher suggested for other researchers to do the same study with different movie and bigger data to obtain richer results

    AN ERROR ANALYSIS IN DESCRIPTIVE TEXT USING SURFACE STRATEGY TAXONOMY

    Errors are made by the students in writing skill have been treated as the most serious error in English. Therefore, this research aimed to find errors in writing skill which is made by the students at the seventh grade in Junior High School 2 Terusan Nunyai. The errors were classified into surface strategy taxonomy which consisted of omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. The data were taken from descriptive text which is made by 19 students. The writer used descriptive qualitative as the research design. The data were analyzed by identifying the students’ errors, classifying the errors, and calculating the percentage of errors based on the total cumulative errors. The finding showed that the total of error items of students in English writing is 14 items. The highest errors were omission (57,14%), followed by addition (28,57%), misformation (14,29%), and misordering (0%)

    ANALYZING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CURRICULUM 2013 IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING : A LESSON PLAN ANALYSIS

    Lesson Plan (RPP) is face-to-face learning activity plans for one or more meetings. RPP was developed from the syllabus to direct students' learning activities in an effort to achieve Basic Competence (KD). This research can see how the implementation of lesson plans is compatible with learning in classroom, this research can be useful and become an evaluation material for the progress of the teachers who contributed to this research. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive approach. The researchers used documentation, observation and interview in collecting and analyzing data. The result of research showed first, there are several aspects in the lesson plan that must be included, starting from the identity of the lesson plan until the assessment. From the 10 aspects contained in Permendikbud number 22 of 2016, only 2 aspects are Partly-Suitable with Permendikbud number 22 2016. This is not a fatal error, it's just that there are slight deficiencies in learning media and learning resources. In here the researchers can conclude that English teachers lesson plan same with the guide from permendikbud number 22 of 2016. Second, from the two English teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2, there is one aspect that is Not Suitable with the implementation in the classroom, namely regarding learning media.     The purpose of this study is first, to find out the planning of the head of the madrasah in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; second, to find out the organization of the head of the madrasah in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; third, to find out the implementation of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; and fourth, to find out the evaluation of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok. This research is a field research that uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The techniques used in data collection are: observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used in this study are: data reduction, data presentation (data display), data checking (data verification), and drawing conclusions. This research found that the management of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah in MTsN 2 Solok has been going well, which is judging from four things, namely: first, planning carried out by means of good deliberation and cooperation between the head of the madrasah and all academics; second, the organization carried out has been carried out according to planning and the distribution of each task in accordance with the expertise and skills possessed; Third, in the implementation process, the head of the madrasah always takes part to provide direction and guidance; And fourth, the supervision carried out has been carried out effectively, because this supervision is useful to find out whether the planning, organizing, implementation has been carried out in accordance with the predetermined objectives in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah

    Reading is an activity of readers to read a text and get information from what their read to share each other. Reading is a pleasant way to success of learning English, because reading make the student find many words used memorably. Reading is very important for students, because there are many advantages from learning reading. By reading, the students be able to increase their knowledge. This research is aimed to find out whether there was a significant influence of using Dual Coding Theory in Reading Desriptive Text at The Tenth Grade of MAN 1 Tanggamus in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. The research methodology was experimental research design. The students of the tenth grade of MAN 1 Tanggamus as a population with the sample group class determined X MIA 1 and X MIA 2. It was selected using the cluster random sampling technique. Hence, the researcher used multiple-choice reading test as instruments to collect the data. The test were for pre-test and post- test. After collectingthe data, the researcher used SPSS to analyze the data. From the data analysis, the result from the Mann-Whitney U Asymp of sig.(2-tailed) was 0.011, it waslower than < α = 0.05 and it means (Ho) was rejected and (Ha) was accepted. It proved that there was a significant influence of using Dual Coding Theory in reading descriptive text at the tenth grade of MAN 1 Tanggamus in the academic year of 2022/2023

    Komunikasi merupakan kegiatan pertukaran gagasan secara verbal maupun nonverbal antar manusia. Suatu kegiatan komunikasi memerlukan cara penyampaian dan gaya bahasa yang baik. Oleh karena itu dalam berkomunikasi manusia tidak akan bisa lepas dari gaya komunikasi. Begitu pula dengan Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok Ia memerlukan gaya komunikasi yang baik. Dengan adanya gaya komunikasi yang digunakan Kevin Nguyen, pesan yang disampaikan memiliki daya tarik dan mudah diterima oleh para pengguna media TikTok bahkan di luar media sosial tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya komunikasi dan apa saja faktor pendukung gaya komunikasi Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok. Selanjutnya pada pengelolaan data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori gaya komunikasi Robert Norton. Dalam teori tersebut terdapat 10 gaya komunikasi yang dikemukakan oleh Norton. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok meliputi gaya komunikasi yang dominan, gaya komunikasi argumentatif atau kontroversial, gaya komunikasi animasi ekspresif, gaya komunikasi meninggalkan kesan, gaya komunikasi santai dan gaya komunikasi bersahabat.
