Blackboard solutions have been deployed in most Saudi Arabia universities, but it appears that the students who use blackboard system were incapable to the imperative blackboard system. The main motives for this might be that students do not accept and usage the blackboard system suitably. This study will make involvement to the present body of TAM theory components and adding others external construct like “social learning, IT infrastructure & system excellence, and course quality”. Author focus on blackboard system use in Taibah University; data gathered from online survey of students using blackboard system. Then, the proposed model was investigated and tested, for analysis smart PLS was used. Keywords: Blackboard, technological acceptance model (TAM), partial least squares (PLS)

Technological development and its impact on student reception of a campus radio

In 2011, a study was conducted to look at students’ reception of IIUM.FM, a newly launched online campus radio. Using the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM), the study found that factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitude highly influenced audience reception of the online radio. In 2016, a corresponding study, closely based on the original 2011 study was conducted to chart and identify how technological changes and developments have further affected the radio listeners today and whether the factors that determined listenership in 2011 still apply in 2016. The study employed a quantitative research design using the survey method and the questionnaire as the research instrument. A total of 238 respondents were sampled for 2011 and 271 respondents for 2016. Results from the comparisons done between the two studies identified the impact of technological change on the campus radio and offered recommendations and suggestions to the University’s relevant authorities for further improvement

The number of internet users who can access and upload products quickly and pleasantly with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Line, WhatsApp, and others are increasing today. The increase in the use of social media in accessing films by the public correlates with consumer engagement with economic growth on social media. This study focused on the influence of Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) using social media in Indonesia film consumer engagements. Questionnaires were distributed to 512 social media user respondents by accessing films. Data processing used PLS (Partial Least Square) with a valid and reliable model test, and the resulting perceived ease of use impacted the perceived usefulness of the film. Perceived ease of use of social media can influence Perceived usefulness and behavioral intention. Perceived usefulness has an impact on Behavioral intention. The ease of use of social media can influence the consumer engagement of films. Perceived usefulness affects the consumer engagement of Indonesian films. Behavioral intention to use social media has an impact on consumer engagement. This research contributes in theory to the implementation of TAM in film in social medi

The objective of the study was to analyze influencing factors in the acceptance and use of ICT in the teaching-learning processof the teachers in charge of Municipal Multigrade Rural Schools of Ranco Province, Chile. The methodology is quantitative, non-experimental reach, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional with single-stage conglomerate sampling, corresponding to 28 teachers, each of them representing a school. The Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) was used as the foundation. The analysis based on partial least squares regression through the Smart PLS Software, seeks to identify that one of the main findings isthe relevance of Information literacy, expressed through the variables Informational Skills and ICT Training, in behavior of ICTuse in rural environments

Free and open source software (FOSS) movement essentially arises like answer to the evolution occurred in the market from the software, characterized by the closing of the source code. Furthermore, some FOSS characteristics, such as (1) the advance of this movement and (2) the attractiveness that contributes the voluntary and cooperative work, have increased the interest of the users towards free software. Traditionally, research in FOSS has focused on identifying individual personal motives for participating in the development of a FOSS project, analyzing specific FOSS solutions, or the FOSS movement itself. Nevertheless, the advantages of the FOSS for users and the effect of the demographic dimensions on user acceptance for FOSS have been two research topics with little attention. Specifically, this paper’s aim is to focus on the influence of the user experience with FOSS the FOSS acceptance. Based on the literature, user experience is an essential demographic dimension for explaining the Information Systems acceptance.

Use of Knowledge Management Technologies Within University-Based Libraries

The use knowledge management technology has been a survival factor for university-based libraries in overcoming challenges faced by libraries in the contemporary dynamic and competitive environment. However, the use of such technologies has been inadequate, ineffective, and fragmented in most university-based libraries within Zimbabwe. Considering this problem, this study assessed the use of knowledge management technologies within an Open and Distance Electronic Learning (ODeL) university-based library. The study was guided by the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM), formulated by Fred Davis in 1986. An embedded design was used, entailing quantitative data sets facilitating a secondary and supportive role in a predominantly qualitative study. This was due to the need of including quantitative data in a qualitative study. Expert sampling was used to select library staff members, with interviews used to generate data. While criterion sampling was used to select relevant documents for document analysis. The study revealed that library staff members and patrons preferred using asynchronous knowledge management technologies, particularly due to their easiness of use. Individual and institutional factors were found to be the aspects that depressed the use of such technologies. The study noted the importance of adopting various promotional methods to increase usage of technologies in place. Furthermore, as a success factor for knowledge management technology use, the study cited the importance of a user needs analysis, to enable collective and informed selection of such technologies

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems have been used by organizations for years, whereas Cloud ERP systems gained an audience a few years ago from practitioners and academicians. As such, there is a migration from the traditional ERP to the Cloud ERP system, and employees in most organizations are accustomed to the traditional ERP system. In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Cloud ERP system used in the operation stage. Organizations must research the factors that impact users' satisfaction and managerial decision-making. There are a lot of prior studies that measured users' adoption of ERP systems using a technological acceptance model (TAM). Thus, this study also utilized the TAM model to examine the factors influencing users' adoption of Cloud ERP systems. To get the maximum value of the validity and reliability of the findings, the study was conducted in two folds: pre-implementation and post-implementation. In addition, structural equation modelling was employed to reach the findings. Finally, the study identified the technology factor, employee factor, perceived usefulness and ease of use as important variables affecting Cloud ERP adoption; and as essential antecedents influencing managerial decision-making. This study is the first to employ the TAM model in the Cloud ERP area in two waves: pre-post implementation phases. Interestingly, the relationships between the pre-and post-implementation variables do not differ significantly
