Mestrado em IPB-ESTG e ASSOCIAÇÃO DE POLITÉCNICOS DO NORTE (APNOR): Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave, Instituto Politécnico de Viana do CasteloThe main objective of this work is to study the importance of the Information System in real estate agencies, both short-term, long-term rentals, sales, purchases, and their clients. We realize that an Information System is not only people but also processes, data, hardware, and software. Using the services of a real estate agency brings many advantages - both from the point of view of homeowners and tenants. However, it is important to remember that cooperation with an agent also involves certain obligations. The main task of a real estate agency is to help you rent, sell, buy or simply announce your property, which they offer to both parties in the transaction. This is because the services of realtors can be used by both flat owners and tenants who are looking for accommodation. Consequently, it is a wilful activity. The Information System is divided into individual chapters such as the Decision Support System, which is an organized collection of people, procedures, databases, and devices that support problem-specific decision making. The work of Real Estate Agencies is based on Business Intelligence, as it requires methods and programs to collect and structure a big amount of data. It also requires the use of a Management Information System, Executive Information System, Transaction Processing System, and Security, as it contains a lot of sensitive information. The hypothesis of this work assumes that the Information System for real estate agencies in the north of Portugal is not sufficiently developed and will still need many more years to gain the confidence of the public of this service in this region. The methods utilised for this dissertation is a combination of questionnaires In addition, the data for this paper began to be collected individually, in November 2021. Moreover, some data to give a better picture are presented in tables and charts. All the information and data necessary for the study were appropriately archived. To present the data, the most common methods used were to divide the responses into percentages and proportions with reference to the population of the northern part of Portugal.O principal objetivo deste documento é estudar a importância dos Sistema de Informação nas agências imobiliárias, tanto a curto prazo, quanto a longo prazo, vendas, compras, e clientes.

This report examines the progressing exploration done on my chosen subject, which is A Multi-touch Interface in a Video Surveillance System. It discusses method of early prototype interacting with security surveillance footage using natural user interfaces instead of traditional mouse and keyboard interaction. Current project is an evidence of idea on exhibiting that multi-touch interfaces are helpful in a video surveillance system to specifically control the surveillance videos, both of the live or of recorded. In case of any occurrence, this proposed system of interaction may require the user to spend an extra time amounts time obtaining circumstantial and location awareness, which is counter-beneficial. The framework proposed in this paper show how a multi-touch screen and natural interaction can empower the surveillance observing station users to rapidly recognize the area of a security camera and proficiently react to an occurrence. One of the main objective of this project is to engage more than 1 user to perform moving, scaling, rotating ,highlighting and recording on a surveillance video in the meantime, particularly during emergency periods. Furthermore, the scope of study for this project is to improve user collaborative interactions on Microsoft tabletop surface .A methodology was developed based upon a combination of the available literature and the experiences of the authors, who are actively involved with the development of multi-user interactions. This will cover many parts such as surveys, data gathering from respective Subject-Matter Experts, focal points, and analyzing information. It is intended to have a Surveillance application with user friendly collaborative touch on surface and eye-catching interface to reflect the quick paced nature of today's correspondences and better advertise its new activities and accessible assets. The future improvements and plans have been recommended and discussed in the recommendations section. Up to now, this research report has been run for twelve (12) weeks and going to be continued running for sixteen (16) weeks with a specific end goal to attain project primary objectives

The study of three-dimensional graphics is an important part of a school course of informatics. This is a consequence of the fact that in today's world it is impossible to imagine a sphere of human activity where 3D modeling and 3D printing technologies are not used. At the same time, issues related to the study of this field of information technology at school are unfortunately not sufficiently outlined. Students' perception of the complex interfaces of the corresponding graphic software is also a problematic point. At the same time, the degree of their impact on educational activity has not been studied at a sufficient level. Considering that the complexity of organizing the interaction between the user and the control elements is inherent in the vast majority of graphic 3D programs, the purpose of the exploratory research was to study this very issue only in the context of the educational learning process. When choosing software for testing, the following selection criteria were followed: the software must be distributed on the basis of the open GPL license, and online services must be able to be freely registered and used in work; it is necessary that graphic complexes of three-dimensional graphics satisfy sufficiently democratic system requirements of school computers; the presence of a large number of localizations is also important, and in terms of functionality, 3D programs should approach similar leading commercial software tools and corresponding online services. In the work, considerable attention was paid to the description of research planning. In particular, it was indicated how the sample of respondents was formed and the main approaches to testing program interfaces in the context of their use in the educational process were revealed. An online tool for testing - UsabilityHub.com - is described separately. The obtained data are described and supplemented by specialized graphic heat maps of clicks. As a result, the data is analyzed in detail, it is indicated that the obtained results of the exploration research are an important basis for conducting further scientific research related to this topic and will allow better investigation of problematic issues. The authors also formulate recommendations for the study of three-dimensional graphics editors in a school course of informatics and note methodological points that teachers should pay attention to when preparing for classes

Since computer technology became widespread available at universities during the last quarter of the twentieth century, language researchers have been successfully employing software to analyse usage patterns in corpora. However, although there has been a proliferation of software for different disciplines within text-data analytics, e.g. corpus linguistics, statistics, natural language processing and text mining, this article demonstrates that any computer environment intended to support advanced linguistic research more effectively should be grounded on a user-centred approach to holistically integrate cross-disciplinary methods and techniques in a linguist-friendly manner. To this end, I examine not only the tasks that are derived from linguists' needs and goals but also the technologies that appropriately deal with the properties of linguistic data. This research results in the implementation of DAMIEN, an online workbench designed to conduct linguistic experiments on corpora

Despite the explosive growth ofelectronic commerce and the rapid increasing number of customer who use interactive multimedia, such as the World Wide Web for purchase information search andonline shopping, very little is known about how customers make purchase decision in such settings. Thus, in the rush to open their website, e-commerce sites too often fail to support consumer decision making and search, resulting in a loss of sales and the loss of loyal customers. To overcome this weakness in the traditional ecommerce website, this project reviews the open problems that e-commerce website poses to the framework and to existing search engine technology for online shopping. Besides that, this research also involves design of the methodology for the development in supporting decision support making systems. Generally, the development of this ecommerce site showed that, the traditional e-commerce applications do need to be improving by integrating anappropriate decision making system byusing an Intelligent Agent to aid the customers in their purchase decision-making process. Scope of study will focus into Business-to-Customer (B2C) models. In depth research will be conducted: survey, interviews, self-assessment, and online researches and from other written materials. The result can be determine when the developed e-commerce site used extensively onthe Web, that perform tasks such as retrieving and delivering information and automating repetitive tasks bythedeveloping Intelligent Agent software or services. It also used as tools to track Webbehaviorwhich they can even "watch" as user's surfing site and recordhow often they visit certain sites. Later, they can be used to automatically download the favorite sites, let them know whentheir favorite site has been updated, and even tailor specific pages to suit their tastes
