    OAS: An Advanced Undergraduate Office Automated System for Automate Bank Work Routing

    Office automation systems (OAS) have steadily gained popularity as a result of the information technology industry's fast expansion. The promise of office automation, which is meant to increase productivity in the office setting, has caused organizations in both the public and commercial sectors to grow concerned. This issue becomes quite important due to the rising costs of new and enhanced office automation technologies. As a result, industries like banks have improved their front-end client operations using digital solutions. However, a large number of bank processors still depend on personnel and paper. This level of human processing is expensive, sluggish, and may provide results that are highly inconsistent, have significant mistake rates, and pose security risks. Through this research work, our aim is to consider existing significant opportunities in backoffice automation level increase and develop a pilot OAS to work smart with a higher level of efficiency in the office environment. The proposed solution is enriched with image processing methods to authenticate employees to ensure the security of the banking environment by enabling access control and providing a well-accurate employee attendance handling system through web and mobile app facilities which are enabled by GPS and API call technologies. To maintain on-time accurate customer support service, our study has proposed a smart customer handling facility with the help of an AI chatbot and some IoT device material

Many devices such as smartphones and laptops are constantly connected to the internet. Therefore, many industries are acquiring IoT in their offices. Due to the increasing need of IoT, Security and privacy issues have been described as the most challenging problems in the IoT domain. We propose an Automated office system that provides a secure approach for sharing the data between the IoT devices. The designed system is very effective and eco-friendly having the advantage of low cost. This system eases out the office automation tasks and user can easily monitor and control office appliances from anywhere and anytime using connected network. Various security algorithms and encryption are used which are explained later in the paper

    A SECURED GSM-BASED REMOTE CONTROLLED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM

    Home automation systems are designated electronic systems in homes and residential buildings that makes it possible for the automation of household appliances. The challenges faced by home automation systems are high cost of ownership, inflexibility, poor manageability and difficulty in achieving security. In this work, a secured global system for mobile communication-based home automation system (GSM-HAS) was designed. The proposed system has a more improved technology that enhances flexibility by using GSM technology to interconnect its component to home automation system. The system comprises of five modules namely Mobile Phone, SIM900 GSM Module, Arduino Board, Relay Module and Peripheral Devices. The system used SIM900 Module which allows users to effectively control their house/office appliances simply by sending a short message service (SMS) to the device. ATMEGA328P microcontroller was used to communicate with SIM900 module and the relay module to carry out the basic ON/OFF operations received from the user android application.  The android application was implemented using Java programming language and MySql database.  The performance of the system shows that the user can control the home appliances through the android application, with an additional control for activating and deactivating the sensor system at home/office. The system helps turn-on and turn-off connected home appliances as well as detect intruders and send message to the user’s mobile phone. To realize the research prototype Smart Office System with the Arduino Mega 2560 and Raspberry Pi-based Internet of Things Project Builder Cayenne parts Building Automation System using the system development methodology waterfall and RUP (Rational Unified Process). In this prototype consists of a prototype with RFID sensors, DHT11, and LDR, prototype smart garden with soil moisture sensors and HC-SR04 for watering plants automatically and autonomous robot prototype line follower to monitor security outside the building.     Artificial intelligence and UK national security: Policy considerations

    RUSI was commissioned by GCHQ to conduct an independent research study into the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for national security purposes. The aim of this project is to establish an independent evidence base to inform future policy development regarding national security uses of AI. The findings are based on in-depth consultation with stakeholders from across the UK national security community, law enforcement agencies, private sector companies, academic and legal experts, and civil society representatives. This was complemented by a targeted review of existing literature on the topic of AI and national security. The research has found that AI offers numerous opportunities for the UK national security community to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes. AI methods can rapidly derive insights from large, disparate datasets and identify connections that would otherwise go unnoticed by human operators. However, in the context of national security and the powers given to UK intelligence agencies, use of AI could give rise to additional privacy and human rights considerations which would need to be assessed within the existing legal and regulatory framework. For this reason, enhanced policy and guidance is needed to ensure the privacy and human rights implications of national security uses of AI are reviewed on an ongoing basis as new analysis methods are applied to data
