This paper proposed Anovel watermarking scheme using hybrid of  Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform and singular value decomposition . Image watermarking is to embed copyright data in image bit streams. Our proposed technique demonestrates  the effective and robust of image watermarking algorithms using a hybrid of two strong mathematical transforms; the 2-level Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DT-CWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). This technique shows high level of security and robustness against attacks. The algorithm was tested for imperceptibility and robustness and the results were compared with DWT-SVD-based technique, it is shown that the proposed watermarking schemes is considerably more robust and effective

Non Oblivious Watermarking Technique for JPEG2000 Compressed Images Using Arnold Scrambling of Unequal Size Watermark Blocks

In this paper, a watermarking technique for JPEG2000 compressed image is proposed. Scrambling of secret message is performed block-wise using Arnold Transform. Secret message is divided into non-overlapping blocks of unequal size and then Arnold transform is applied on each block and secret key is generated based on the periodicity of each block. Scrambled secret message is embedded into qualified significant wavelet coefficients of a cover image. After embedding the secret message into wavelet coefficients, the remaining processes of JPEG2000 standard are executed to compress the watermarked image at different compression rates. Scaling Factor (SF) is used to embed watermark into wavelet coefficients and the value of SF is stored into COM box of the code stream of JPEG2000 compressed image and this SF value and secret key are used to extract the embedded watermark on the receiver side. The performance of the proposed technique is robust to a variety of attacks like image cropping, salt and pepper noise, and rotation. Proposed technique is compared with the existing watermarking techniques for JPEG2000 compressed images to show its effectiveness

Robust light field watermarking by 4D wavelet transform

Unlike common 2D images, the light field representation of a scene delivers spatial and angular description which is of paramount importance for 3D reconstruction. Despite the numerous methods proposed for 2D image watermarking, such methods do not address the angular information of the light field. Hence the exploitation of such methods may cause severe destruction of the angular information. In this paper, we propose a novel method for light field watermarking with extensive consideration of the spatial and angular information. Considering the 4D innate of the light field, the proposed method incorporates 4D wavelet for the purpose of watermarking and converts the heavily-correlated channels from RGB domain to YUV. The robustness of the proposed method has been evaluated against common image processing attacks

Abstract: The paper presents an imperceptible and robust digital watermarking algorithm using a combination of the DWT-DCT , which improves the robustness via using new embedding strategy. Apply 4-level DWT to the host image. Then, DCT transform of each directional middle frequencies DWT subband is computed; A binary watermarked logo is coded by Run-Length Code(RLC);The watermark bits are embedded in the coefficients of the DCT block based on the energy of each corresponding to coefficient in the highest level selected using the value of RLC. Performance evaluation show that the proposed scheme is invisible and robust against common image manipulations like JPEG compression, noise adding, sharpening, filtering. I Introduction Image watermarking is the process of embedding the ownership information into host data so that intellectual copyrights can be identified. Along with the rapid growth of novel watermarking schemes, various attacking attempts have also been developed to destroy watermarking II Theory A.Run Length Code Run-length code (RLC) is a very simple form of data compression in which runs of data (that is, sequences in which the same data value occurs in many consecutive data elements) are stored as a single data value and count, rather than as the original run. This is most useful on data that contains many such runs: for example, simple graphic images such as icons, line drawings, and animations

Watermarking is a form of steganography that proved its worth in successfully protecting copyright information. It is the process of embedding data inside an audio or video or image message such that the embedded data is possible to be detected or extracted later. The core focus in watermarking techniques is their performance which is determined by imperceptibility along with robustness and capacity. These properties are often conflicting, which needs to accept some trade-offs between them. Despite the successes recorder in the area of digital watermarking, several challenges continue to persist particularly in the Areas of balancing these factors. This research aims to enhance the the processes in the watermarking technique for archieving imperceptibility with an acceptable balancing and enhance the security. The research proposed a new scheme using sparse matrix for improving the effectiveness of watermarked image using digital wavelet transform and inverse discrete wavelet transform to locate the best place and level in the image to embed the watermark. Sparse matrix is used to enhance the embedding process by selecting the proper coefficient. For more secure watermarking, additional encryption layer is utilized to increase the difficulty towards unauthorized extraction. The proposed technique generated the proper message size for each sub image based on the PSNR, which is used as an indicator for selecting the suitable level of embedding and for detecting the possibility of attacks. The proposed scheme improves watermarking quality by using the sparse matrix to select the appropriate coefficient for embedding. The experiments showed that the proposed scheme enhances 2.8479 dB of quality (PSNR) or equivalent to 5.3 % of improvements. The research proposed scheme achieved better PSNR in comparison with other research

Due to the increased number of cyberattacks, numerous researchers are motivated towards the design of such schemes that can hide digital information in a signal. Watermarking is one of the promising technologies that can protect digital information. However, traditional watermarking schemes are either slow or less secure. In this paper, a dynamic S-Box based efficient watermarking scheme is presented. The original image was extracted at the receiver’s end without any loss of sensitive information. Firstly, the Secure Hash Algorithm is applied to the original image for the generation of the initial condition. Piece Wise Linear Chaotic Map is then used to generate 16 × 16 dynamic Substitution Box (S-Box). As an additional security feature, the watermark is substituted through dynamic S-Box. Hence, it is hard for the eavesdroppers to attack the proposed scheme due to the dynamic nature of S-Box. Lastly, lifting wavelet transform is applied to the host image and the High Low and High High blocks of host image are replaced with least significant bits and most significant bits of the substituted watermark, respectively. Robustness, efficiency and security of the proposed scheme is verified using Structure Similarity Index, Structure Dissimilarity Index, Structure Content, Mutual Information, energy, entropy, correlation tests and classical attacks analysis
