    Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (Fuzzy Mcdm) untuk Pemilihan Lokasi Gudang Distribusi

    Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat mendorong Perusahaan yang memiliki jaringan pasar yang luas untuk mengefisienkan penggunaan biaya, dan memaksimalkan layanan terhadap konsumen. Salah cara yang bisa dilakukan yaitu memilih lokasi gudang distribusi secara tepat, karena hal ini dapat memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap biaya transportasi, biaya investasi, waktu dan layanan distribusi kepada konsumen, serta pangsa pasarnya. Penelitian ini mengkaji pemilihan lokasi gudang distribusi di tiga lokasi (A, B, C) di wilayah kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan mempertimbangkan multikriteria yang menggunakan metode Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process dengan Extent Analysis (FAHP Extent Analysis). Berdasarkan studi literatur dan survei terhadap pelaku bisnis dibeberapa lokasi pergudangan di wilayah kabupaten Sidoarjo, diperoleh 5 kriteria yang dijadikan pertimbangan dalam pemilihan lokasi gudang, yaitu: kondisi transportasi, kedekatan dengan konsumen, biaya investasi, kondisi pasar, luas lokasi. Dengan menggunakan kuesioner, setiap kriteria ini diberi bobot oleh beberapa investor, sedangkan penilaian tiap alternatif dilakukan melalui konsensus. Bobot kriteria kemudian dihitung menggunakan FAHP Extent Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria 'kedekatan dengan konsumen' merupakan kriteria yang paling dipertimbangkan dalam memilih lokasi pergudangan, disusul dengan kriteria 'biaya investasi', 'luas lokasi pergudangan', 'kondisi transportasi', 'kondisi pasar'. Dan, lokasi yang paling baik (paling direkomendasikan) untuk gudang distribusi adalah lokasi B, disusul dengan lokasi A dan C

    Spatial Multi-criteria Decision Making for Delineating Agricultural Land in Jakarta Metropolitan Area\u27s Hinterland: Case Study of Bogor Regency, West Java

    The hinterland of Jakarta has experienced high pressure in its land utilization due to Jakarta\u27s rapid development. The objective of this research was to analyse the suitable land available for agriculture. The research was conducted in Bogor, a hinterland regency of Jakarta. The methodology used includes two steps of analysis, which are land suitability and land availability analysis. Land suitability for agriculture was analysed using multi-criteria decision making method. Seven (7) criteria were included, which consist of soil class, land capability class, slope, elevation, slope aspect, land use/land cover and distance to roads. The criteria were weighted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process. Combining criteria weights and sub-criteria scores, an overlay model in Geographic Information System was applied. The result from land suitability analysis was used as a feed for determining land availability, considering the forest area status and land allocation in the official spatial land use plan. The results indicate that an area amounting to 87.5% of Bogor Regency is suitable for agriculture. Land which is suitable and available for agriculture is 16.7% of the regency\u27s area. Considering available land which is currently in use, the area that can be allocated for the expansion of agriculture is 3.3%

    An Integrative Multi Criteria Decision Making Techniques for Supplier Evaluation Problem with its Application

    Coordinating business operation with suppliers becomes increasingly important to survive and prosper under the dynamic business environment. A good partnership with suppliers not only increase efficiency, but also strengthen corporate competitiveness. Associated with such concern, this study aims to develop a practical approach of multi-criteria supplier evaluation using combined methods of Taguchi loss function (TLF), best-worst method (BWM) and VIse Kriterijumska Optimizacija kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR). A new framework of integrative approach adopting these methods is our main contribution for supplier evaluation in literature. In this integrated approach, a compromised supplier ranking list based on the loss score of suppliers is obtained using efficient steps of a pairwise comparison based decision making process. Implemetation to the case problem with real data from crumb rubber industry shows the usefulness of the proposed approach. Finally, a suitable managerial implication is presented

    [Abstract] A control system problem can be viewed as a multiobjective problem due to the fact that there are many requirements to be satisfied. Nowadays, multi-objective optimization deals with this kind of problem by implementing optimization techniques, capable of searching for the Pareto set approximation, hereafter the designer needs to select the best solution that provides a good trade-off among the competitve objectives from the Pareto front approximation. Therefore, in this communication we address the problem of selecting the best trade-off between the conflictive objectives, this stage is called the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). In this paper we propose to use the Nash solution as a tuning technique to select the design alternative to implement on the control system.     Neutrosophic Multi-Criteria Decision Making

    The notion of a neutrosophic quadruple BCK/BCI-number is considered in the first article (“Neutrosophic Quadruple BCK/BCI-Algebras”, by Young Bae Jun, Seok-Zun Song, Florentin Smarandache, and Hashem Bordbar), and a neutrosophic quadruple BCK/BCI-algebra, which consists of neutrosophic quadruple BCK/BCI-numbers, is constructed. Several properties are investigated, and a (positive implicative) ideal in a neutrosophic quadruple BCK-algebra and a closed ideal in a neutrosophic quadruple BCI-algebra are studied. Given subsets A and B of a BCK/BCI-algebra, the set NQ(A,B), which consists of neutrosophic quadruple BCK/BCInumbers with a condition, is established. Conditions for the set NQ(A,B) to be a (positive implicative) ideal of a neutrosophic quadruple BCK-algebra are provided, and conditions for the set NQ(A,B) to be a (closed) ideal of a neutrosophic quadruple BCI-algebra are given. Techniques for the order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and elimination and choice translating reality (ELECTRE) are widely used methods to solve multicriteria decision-making problems. In the second research article (“Decision-Making with Bipolar Neutrosophic TOPSIS and Bipolar Neutrosophic ELECTRE-I”), Muhammad Akram, Shumaiza, and Florentin Smarandache present the bipolar neutrosophic TOPSIS method and the bipolar neutrosophic ELECTRE-I method to solve such problems. The authors use the revised closeness degree to rank the alternatives in the bipolar neutrosophic TOPSIS method. The researchers describe the bipolar neutrosophic TOPSIS method and the bipolar neutrosophic ELECTRE-I method by flow charts, also solving numerical examples by the proposed methods and providing a comparison of these methods. In the third article (“Interval Neutrosophic Sets with Applications in BCK/BCI-Algebra”, by Young Bae Jun, Seon Jeong Kim and Florentin Smarandache), the notion of (T(i,j),I(k,l),F(m,n))-interval neutrosophic subalgebra in BCK/BCI-algebra is introduced for i,j,k,l,m,n infoNumber 1,2,3,4, and properties and relations are investigated.     A multi-criteria decision making approach for food engineering

    The objective of this study was to propose a decision making approach and tools (software packages) to solve the multi-criteria decision making problems arising in the food engineering. The proposed decision making approach is based on a simultaneous utilization for a given set of Pareto-optimal solutions the two following decision making methods: 1) well-known Analytic Hierarchy Process method and 2) Tabular Method. The using of Tabular Method allows utilizing the AHP method in a straightforward manner, which avoids the information overload and makes the decision making process easier. The aggregating functions approach, adaptive random search algorithm coupled with penalty functions approach, and the finite difference method with cubic spline approximation were utilized in this study to compute the initial set of the Pareto-optimal solutions. The decision making software ―MPRIORITY‖ and ―T-CHOICE‖ based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Tabular Method methods, respectively, were utilized for choosing the best alternative among the obtained set of Pareto-optimal solutions. The proposed in this study approach and tools was successfully tested on the multi-objective optimization problem of the thermal processing of packaged food. The proposed decision making approach and tools are useful for food scientists (research and education) and engineers (real thermal food process evaluation and optimization)
