Makhraj is the most important thing for Muslim to recite the Holy Quran properly besides of Tajweed. This paper describe the Makhraj recognition of Hijaiyah Letter for children education. To make the Makhraj recognition, the feature extraction is used Mel-Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) method and to classify the Hijaiyah letter use Support Vector Machines (SVM) method based on Python 2.7. The waveform analysis of each Hijaiyah Makhraj pronunciation shows the differences of each letter. The database of Hijaiyah Makhraj pronunciation using 12 feature extraction can be classified by SVM process

Advancements and Challenges in Arabic Optical Character Recognition: A Comprehensive Survey

Optical character recognition (OCR) is a vital process that involves the extraction of handwritten or printed text from scanned or printed images, converting it into a format that can be understood and processed by machines. This enables further data processing activities such as searching and editing. The automatic extraction of text through OCR plays a crucial role in digitizing documents, enhancing productivity, improving accessibility, and preserving historical records. This paper seeks to offer an exhaustive review of contemporary applications, methodologies, and challenges associated with Arabic Optical Character Recognition (OCR). A thorough analysis is conducted on prevailing techniques utilized throughout the OCR process, with a dedicated effort to discern the most efficacious approaches that demonstrate enhanced outcomes. To ensure a thorough evaluation, a meticulous keyword-search methodology is adopted, encompassing a comprehensive analysis of articles relevant to Arabic OCR, including both backward and forward citation reviews. In addition to presenting cutting-edge techniques and methods, this paper critically identifies research gaps within the realm of Arabic OCR. By highlighting these gaps, we shed light on potential areas for future exploration and development, thereby guiding researchers toward promising avenues in the field of Arabic OCR. The outcomes of this study provide valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders involved in Arabic OCR, ultimately fostering advancements in the field and facilitating the creation of more accurate and efficient OCR systems for the Arabic language

Jawi is taught in school as one of the curriculum structure in Malaysia. However, the performance of students in writing and reading Jawi is very poor. Interactive Jawi Learning Application can become a creative medium of learning infused with educational and entertainment contents to encourage students to learn Jawi in enjoyable way. The project will utilize the use of smart phone capabilities combines with the game approach to create an interactive mobile game-based learning which enables the user to learn writing in Jawi that applied for primary school students‟ level. The objectives of the project are to design and develop a mobile game-based learning application for Jawi to grant mobility for primary students, and investigate the effectiveness of the mobile game-based learning application in facilitating the learning of Jawi. The project begins with data collection and analysis and proceeds to development of the mobile game-based application. The development of the application starts with, planning, and continue with project analysis, design and implementation. The finding on the effectiveness of the mobile game-based application is gathered through user testing and survey. From the result, this project has advantage to be a helpful learning aid in facilitating the learning on writing in Jawi

The book presents an excellent overview of the recent developments in the different areas of Robotics, Automation and Control. Through its 24 chapters, this book presents topics related to control and robot design; it also introduces new mathematical tools and techniques devoted to improve the system modeling and control. An important point is the use of rational agents and heuristic techniques to cope with the computational complexity required for controlling complex systems. Through this book, we also find navigation and vision algorithms, automatic handwritten comprehension and speech recognition systems that will be included in the next generation of productive systems developed by man

The Covid-19 pandemic is having an undeniable impact on all the statements of society. Regarding teaching and learning activities, most educational institutions suspended in-person instruction and moved to remote learning during the lockdown of March and April 2020. Although nowadays many countries have progressively re-opened their educational systems, blended learning is a common practice aimed to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 disease. This disruption has supposed an unprecedented acceleration to the digitalization of teaching and learning. Teaching professionals have been forced to develop their digital competence in a short amount of time, getting mastery in the management of information, the creation of audiovisual contents, and the use of technology to keep their students connected. This Special Issue presents contributions regarding the adoption of distance learning strategies, experiences, or lessons learned in this domain
