VIKOR method for multiple criteria group decision making under 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic environment
In this article, the VIKOR method is proposed to solve the multiple
criteria group decision making (MCGDM) with 2-tuple linguistic
neutrosophic numbers (2TLNNs). Firstly, the fundamental concepts,
operation formulas and distance calculating method of
2TLNNs are introduced. Then some aggregation operators of
2TLNNs are reviewed. Thereafter, the original VIKOR method is
extended to 2TLNNs and the calculating steps of VIKOR method
with 2TLNNs are proposed. In the proposed method, it’s more
reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria.
Furthermore, the VIKOR are extended to interval-valued 2-tuple
linguistic neutrosophic numbers (IV2TLNNs). Moreover, a numerical
example for green supplier selection has been given to illustrate
the new method and some comparisons are also conducted
to further illustrate advantages of the new method
Consistency based completion approaches of incomplete preference relations in uncertain decision contexts.
Uncertainty, hesitation and vagueness are inherent to human beings when articulating opinions and preferences. Therefore in decision making situations it might well be the case that experts are unable to express their opinions in an accurate way. Under these circumstances, various families of preference relations (PRs) have been proposed (linguistic, intuitionistic and interval fuzzy PRs) to allow the experts to manifest some degree of hesitation when enunciating their opinions. An extreme case of uncertainty happens when an expert is unable to differentiate the degree up to which one preference is preferred to another. Henceforth, incomplete preference relations are possible. It is worth to bear in mind that incomplete information does not mean low quality information, on the contrary, in many occasions experts might prefer no to provide information in other to keep consistency. Managing Incomplete Preference Relations in Decision Making: A Review and Future Trends
In decision making, situations where all experts are able to efficiently express their preferences over all the available options are the exception rather than the rule. Indeed, the above scenario requires all experts to possess a precise or sufficient level of knowledge of the whole problem to tackle, including the ability to discriminate the degree up to which some options are better than others. These assumptions can be seen unrealistic in many decision making situations, especially those involving a large number of alternatives to choose from and/or conflicting and dynamic sources of information. Some methodologies widely adopted in these situations are to discard or to rate more negatively those experts that provide preferences with missing values. However, incomplete information is not equivalent to low quality information, and consequently these methodologies could lead to biased or even bad solutions since useful information might not being taken properly into account in the decision process. Therefore, alternative approaches to manage incomplete preference relations that estimates the missing information in decision making are desirable and possible. This paper presents and analyses methods and processes developed on this area towards the estimation of missing preferences in decision making, and highlights some areas for future research
Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power aggregation operators in multiple attribute decision making
In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making
problems with Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic information.
Then, we utilize power average and power geometric operations
to develop some Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power aggregation
operators: Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power weighted
average (P2TLPWA) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power
weighted geometric (P2TLPWG) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic
power ordered weighted average (P2TLPOWA) operator,
Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power ordered weighted geometric
(P2TLPOWG) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power
hybrid average (P2TLPHA) operator and Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic
power hybrid geometric (P2TLPHG) operator. The prominent
characteristic of these proposed operators are studied. Then,
we have utilized these operators to develop some approaches to
solve the Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic multiple attribute decision
making problems. Finally, a practical example for enterprise
resource planning (ERP) system selection is given to verify the
developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and
effectiveness

In this paper, we shall present some novel Dice similarity measures of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets and the generalized Dice similarity measures of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets and indicate that the Dice similarity measures and asymmetric measures (projection measures) are the special cases of the generalized Dice similarity measures in some parameter values. Then, we propose the generalized Dice similarity measures-based multiple attribute decision making models with hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets. Finally, a practical example concerning the evaluation of the quality of movies is given to illustrate the applicability and advantage of the proposed generalized Dice similarity measure

A novel method based on extended uncertain 2-tuple linguistic muirhead mean operators to MAGDM under uncertain 2-tuple linguistic environment
The present work is focused on multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problems with the uncertain 2-tuple linguistic information (ULI2–tuple) based on new aggregation operators which can capture interrelationships of attributes by a parameter vector P. To begin with, we present some new uncertain 2-tuple linguistic MM aggregation (UL2–tuple-MM) operators to handle MAGDM problems with ULI2–tuple, including the uncertain 2-tuple linguistic Muirhead mean (UL2–tuple-MM) operator, uncertain 2-tuple linguistic weighted Muirhead mean (UL2–tuple-WMM) operator. In addition, we extend UL2–tuple-WMM operator to a new aggregation operator named extended uncertain 2-tuple linguistic weighted Muirhead mean (EUL2–tuple-WMM) operators in order to handle some decision-making problems with ULI2–tuple whose attribute values are expressed in ULI2–tuple and attribute weights are also 2-tuple linguistic information. Whilst, the some properties of these new aggregation operators are obtained and some special cases are discussed. Moreover, we propose a new method to solve the MAGDM problems with ULI2–tuple. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the validity of the proposed method and the advantages of proposed method are also analysed
An Extended VIKOR Method for Multiple Criteria Group Decision Making with Triangular Fuzzy Neutrosophic Numbers
In this article, we combine the original VIKOR model with a triangular fuzzy neutrosophic set to propose the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic VIKOR method. In the extended method, we use the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic numbers (TFNNs) to present the criteria values in multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) problems. Firstly, we summarily introduce the fundamental concepts, operation formulas and distance calculating method of TFNNs. Then we review some aggregation operators of TFNNs. Thereafter, we extend the original VIKOR model to the triangular fuzzy neutrosophic environment and introduce the calculating steps of the TFNNs VIKOR method, our proposed method which is more reasonable and scientific for considering the conflicting criteria. Furthermore, a numerical example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization is presented to illustrate the new method, and some comparisons are also conducted to further illustrate advantages of the new method
CODAS methods for multiple attribute group decision making with interval-valued bipolar uncertain linguistic information and their application to risk assessment of Chinese enterprises’ overseas mergers and acquisitions
Bipolar fuzzy set theory has been successfully applied in some
areas, but there are situations in real life which can’t be represented by bipolar fuzzy sets. However, all the existing approaches
are unsuitable to describe the positive and negative membership
degree an element to an uncertain linguistic label to have an
interval value, which can reflect the decision maker’s confidence
level when they are making an evaluation. In order to overcome
this limit, we propose the definition of interval-valued bipolar
uncertain linguistic sets (IVBULSs) to solve this problem based on
the bipolar fuzzy sets and uncertain linguistic information processing models. In this paper, we extend the traditional information aggregating operators to interval-valued bipolar uncertain
linguistic sets (IVBULSs) and propose some IVBUL aggregating
operators. Then, we extend the CODAS method to solve multiple
attribute group decision making (MAGDM) issues with interval-valued bipolar uncertain linguistic numbers (IVBULNs) based on
