Proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Domain-Specific Language Design and Implementation (DSLDI 2015)
The goal of the DSLDI workshop is to bring together researchers and
practitioners interested in sharing ideas on how DSLs should be designed,
implemented, supported by tools, and applied in realistic application contexts.
We are both interested in discovering how already known domains such as graph
processing or machine learning can be best supported by DSLs, but also in
exploring new domains that could be targeted by DSLs. More generally, we are
interested in building a community that can drive forward the development of
modern DSLs. These informal post-proceedings contain the submitted talk
abstracts to the 3rd DSLDI workshop (DSLDI'15), and a summary of the panel
discussion on Language Composition
Modelling and analyzing adaptive self-assembling strategies with Maude
Building adaptive systems with predictable emergent behavior is a challenging task and it is becoming a critical need. The research community has accepted the challenge by introducing approaches of various nature: from software architectures, to programming paradigms, to analysis techniques. We recently proposed a conceptual framework for adaptation centered around the role of control data. In this paper we show that it can be naturally realized in a reflective logical language like Maude by using the Reflective Russian Dolls model. Moreover, we exploit this model to specify, validate and analyse a prominent example of adaptive system: robot swarms equipped with self-assembly strategies. Developing a distributed electronic health-record store for India

ATP and Presentation Service for Mizar Formalizations
This paper describes the Automated Reasoning for Mizar (MizAR) service, which
integrates several automated reasoning, artificial intelligence, and
presentation tools with Mizar and its authoring environment. The service
provides ATP assistance to Mizar authors in finding and explaining proofs, and
offers generation of Mizar problems as challenges to ATP systems. The service
is based on a sound translation from the Mizar language to that of first-order
ATP systems, and relies on the recent progress in application of ATP systems in
large theories containing tens of thousands of available facts. We present the
main features of MizAR services, followed by an account of initial experiments
in finding proofs with the ATP assistance. Our initial experience indicates
that the tool offers substantial help in exploring the Mizar library and in
preparing new Mizar articles
On proof and progress in mathematics
In response to Jaffe and Quinn [math.HO/9307227], the author discusses forms
of progress in mathematics that are not captured by formal proofs of theorems,
especially in his own work in the theory of foliations and geometrization of
