Managing nonuniformities and uncertainties in vehicle-oriented sensor data over next generation networks
Detailed and accurate vehicle-oriented sensor data is considered fundamental for efficient vehicle-to-everything V2X communication applications, especially in the upcoming highly heterogeneous, brisk and agile 5G networking era. Information retrieval, transfer and manipulation in real-time offers a small margin for erratic behavior, regardless of its root cause. This paper presents a method for managing nonuniformities and uncertainties found on datasets, based on an elaborate Matrix Completion technique, with superior performance in three distinct cases of vehicle-related sensor data, collected under real driving conditions. Our approach appears capable of handling sensing and communication irregularities, minimizing at the same time the storage and transmission requirements of Multi-access Edge Computing applications
Optical data transmission technology for fixed and drag-on STS payloads umbilicals. Volume 1: Executive summary
The feasibility of using optical data handling methods to transmit payload checkout and telemetry is discussed. Optical communications are superior to conventional communication systems for the following reasons: high data capacity optical channels; small and light weight optical cables; and optical signal immunity to electromagnetic interference. Task number one analyzed the ground checkout data requirements that may be expected from the payload community. Task number two selected the optical approach based on the interface requirements, the location of the interface, the amount of time required to reconfigure hardware, and the method of transporting the optical signal. Task number three surveyed and selected optical components for the two payload data link. Task number four makes a qualitative comparison of the conventional electrical communication system and the proposed optical communication system
Instruments of RT-2 Experiment onboard CORONAS-PHOTON and their test and evaluation V: Onboard software, Data Structure, Telemetry and Telecommand
The onboard software and data communication in the RT-2 Experiment onboard
the Coronas-Photon satellite is organized in a hierarchical way to effectively
handle and communicate asynchronous data generated by the X-ray detectors. A
flexible data handling system is organized in the X-ray detector packages
themselves and the processing electronic device, namely RT-2/E, has the
necessary intelligence to communicate with the 3 scientific payloads by issuing
commands and receiving data. It has direct interfacing with the Satellite
systems and issues commands to the detectors and processes the detector data
before sending to the satellite systems. The onboard software is configured
with several novel features like a) device independent communication scheme, b)
loss-less data compression and c) Digital Signal Processor. Functionality of
the onboard software along with the data structure, command structure, complex
processing scheme etc. are discussed in this paper.Comment: 24 pages, 2 figures, Accepted for publication in Experimental

Persuasive Communication Of Health Workers In Handling The Corporation Of The Covid-19 On A Covid-19 Referral Hospital
Persuasive communication of health workers to patient families in handling Covid-19 bodies at the Covid-19 Referral Hospital (Hope and Prayer Hospital, Bengkulu City). In this study, the method used is qualitative. The selection of informants for this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique, namely: Covid-19 task force officers, families of patients or family relatives of patients who died and officials of the Covid-19 Referral Hospital. Qualitative data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the persuasive communication research by health workers to patient families in handling Covid-19 corpses at the Covid-19 referral hospital at Harapan and Prayer Hospital in Bengkulu City have not been maximized because health workers have not been equipped with expertise and in providing good explanations for patient families and poor communication. still doing normally. Suggestions to the Hope and Prayer Hospital of Bengkulu City should provide training to health workers, especially officers related to the delivery of good communication to the patient's family in handling the recovery of Covid 19 bodies, and should be able to make Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) ) related to the delivery of good communication to the family of patients in the handling of Covid-19 corpses and should be able to create a special room related to the delivery of communication to the patient's family in handling Covid-19 corpses
Kuupsatelliidi ESTCube-2 peasidesüsteemi tarkvara arendus
This thesis is focused on software development for the primary communications system of ESTCube-2 nanosatellite. The goals are to describe and document the architecture of the systems software, develop primary prototype software and test it in different cenarios. The system must be compatible with previously agreed standards, developed communication system hardware and other subsystems of the satellite.
As part of this bachelor’s thesis, top and low level functionality of ESTCube-2 communication system was stated and implemented, including data handling, data transmission, communication with other subsystems, error handling and logging
Data production models for the CDF experiment
The data production for the CDF experiment is conducted on a large Linux PC
farm designed to meet the needs of data collection at a maximum rate of 40
MByte/sec. We present two data production models that exploits advances in
computing and communication technology. The first production farm is a
centralized system that has achieved a stable data processing rate of
approximately 2 TByte per day. The recently upgraded farm is migrated to the
SAM (Sequential Access to data via Metadata) data handling system. The software
and hardware of the CDF production farms has been successful in providing large
computing and data throughput capacity to the experiment.Comment: 8 pages, 9 figures; presented at HPC Asia2005, Beijing, China, Nov 30
