A Novel (DDCC-SFG)-Based Systematic Design Technique of Active Filters
This paper proposes a novel idea for the synthesis of active filters that is based on the use of signal-flow graph (SFG) stamps of differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs). On the basis of an RLC passive network or a filter symbolic transfer function, an equivalent SFG is constructed. DDCCsβ SFGs are identified inside the constructed βactiveβ graph, and thus the equivalent circuit can be easily synthesized. We show that the DDCC and its βderivativesβ, i.e. differential voltage current conveyors and the conventional current conveyors, are the main basic building blocks in such design. The practicability of the proposed technique is showcased via three application examples. Spice simulations are given to show the viability of the proposed technique
Communication Platform Payload Definition (CPPD) study. Volume 3: Addendum
This is Volume 3 (Addendum) of the Ford Aerospace & Communications Corporation Final Report for the Communication Platform Payload Definition (CPPD) Study Program conducted for NASA Lewis Research Center under contract No. NAS3-24235. This report presents the results of the study effort leading to five potential platform payloads to service CONUS and WARC Region 2 traffic demand as projected to the year 2008. The report addresses establishing the data bases, developing service aggregation scenarios, selecting and developing 5 payload concepts, performing detailed definition of the 5 payloads, costing them, identifying critical technology, and finally comparing the payloads with each other and also with non-aggregated equivalent services
History of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Committee: 1987-2000
This chapter describes the emergence of an entity dedicated to improving inter-agency
coordination in domestic violence service delivery, the Domestic Violence Coordinating
Committee (DVCC), then charts its work and activity level from its formation in 1987 to the
time this research was conducted in 2000. In addition to an overview of the history of the
DVCC, this chapter includes a discussion of the factors found pertinent for success and failure of
DVCC, and a concluding section where these themes are drawn into an analytical framework.
Special attention is given to the role of the police department and its relationships over time with
the DVCC and with the individual agencies in the domestic violence service community

The ο¬lms were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. To study the point defects the conductivityβ temperature relationships and dark voltageβcurrent characteristics using the theory of space charge limited currents were investigated. The deep energy levels in the band gap (BG) were studied by the method of injection spectroscopy. In the BG of both CdTe and ZnTe a range of trap centers and acceptors with different energy were revealed. To model the PDS in the ο¬lms the quasi-chemical formalism was applied.

DVCC Based Current-Mode First Order All-Pass Filter and Quadrature Oscillator
DergiPark: 245946trakyafbdA current mode first-order all-pass filter configuration is proposed. The presented circuit uses a single differential voltage current conveyor (DVCC), a capacitor and resistors. High output impedance of the proposed filter enables the circuit to be cascaded without additional buffers. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed filter a new current mode quadrature oscillator is given as an application example. Oscillator is implemented through the proposed first order all-pass filter and integrator as the building blocks. Furthemore the effects of tracking errors of the DVCC on oscillation condition and frequency are investigated. The theoretical results are verified with PSPICE simulations using a new CMOS realization of DVCC

Virtual Reference for Video Collections: System Infrastructure, User Interface and Pilot User Study
A new video-based Virtual Reference (VR) tool called VideoHelp was designed and developed to support video
navigation escorting, a function that enables librarians to co-navigate a digital video with patrons in the web-based
environment. A client/server infrastructure was adopted for the VideoHelp system and timestamps were used to achieve
the video synchronization between the librarians and patrons. A pilot usability study of using VideoHelp prototype in video seeking was conducted and the preliminary results demonstrated that the system is easy to learn and use, and real-time assistance from virtual librarians in video navigation is desirable on a conditional basis
Low-Voltage Ultra-Low-Power Current Conveyor Based on Quasi-Floating Gate Transistors
The field of low-voltage low-power CMOS technology has grown rapidly in recent years; it is an essential prerequisite particularly for portable electronic equipment and implantable medical devices due to its influence on battery lifetime. Recently, significant improvements in implementing circuits working in the low-voltage low-power area have been achieved, but circuit designers face severe challenges when trying to improve or even maintain the circuit performance with reduced supply voltage. In this paper, a low-voltage ultra-low-power current conveyor second generation CCII based on quasi-floating gate transistors is presented. The proposed circuit operates at a very low supply voltage of only Β±0.4 V with rail-to-rail voltage swing capability and a total quiescent power consumption of mere 9.5 Β΅W. Further, the proposed circuit is not only able to process the AC signal as it's usual at quasi-floating gate transistors but also the DC which extends the applicability of the proposed circuit. In conclusion, an application example of the current-mode quadrature oscillator is presented. PSpice simulation results using the 0.18 Β΅m TSMC CMOS technology are included to confirm the attractive properties of the proposed circuit
