The model of semantic concept lattice for data mining of microblogs has been proposed in this work. It is shown that the use of this model is effective for the semantic relations analysis and for the detection of associative rules of key words
Formal Context Generation using Dirichlet Distributions
We suggest an improved way to randomly generate formal contexts based on
Dirichlet distributions. For this purpose we investigate the predominant way to
generate formal contexts, a coin-tossing model, recapitulate some of its
shortcomings and examine its stochastic model. Building up on this we propose
our Dirichlet model and develop an algorithm employing this idea. By comparing
our generation model to a coin-tossing model we show that our approach is a
significant improvement with respect to the variety of contexts generated.
Finally, we outline a possible application in null model generation for formal
contexts.Comment: 16 pages, 7 figure
A parallel version of the in-close algorithm
This research paper presents a new parallel algorithm for computing the formal concepts in a formal context. The proposed shared memory parallel algorithm Parallel-Task-In-Close3 parallelizes Andrews's In-Close3 serial algorithm. The paper presents the key parallelization strategy used and presents experimental results of the parallelization using the OpenMP framewor
Knowledge discovery through creating formal contexts
Knowledge discovery is important for systems that have computational intelligence in helping them learn and adapt to changing environments. By representing, in a formal way, the context in which an intelligent system operates, it is possible to discover knowledge through an emerging data technology called formal concept analysis (FCA). This paper describes a tool called FcaBedrock that converts data into formal contexts for FCA. This paper describes how, through a process of guided automation, data preparation techniques such as attribute exclusion and value restriction allow data to be interpreted to meet the requirements of the analysis. Examples are given of how formal contexts can be created using FcaBedrock and then analysed for knowledge discovery, using real datasets. Creating formal contexts using FcaBedrock is shown to be straightforward and versatile. Large datasets are easily converted into a standard FCA format
Generating Clusters of Duplicate Documents: An Approach Based on Frequent Closed Itemsets
A vast amount of documents in the Web have duplicates, which necessitates creation of efficient methods for computing clusters of duplicates [1-5, 8-10, 13-14]. In this paper some algorithms of Data Mining are used for constructing clusters of duplicate documents (duplicates), documents being represented by both syntactic and lexical methods. Series of experiments suggest some conclusions about choosing parameters of the methods
Decompositional approach to research of formal contexts
Concept Learning from Triadic Data
AbstractWe propose extensions of the classical JSM-method and the Näıve Bayesian classifier for the case of triadic relational data. We performed a series of experiments on various types of data (both real and synthetic) to estimate quality of classification techniques and compare them with other classification algorithms that generate hypotheses, e.g. ID3 and Random Forest. In addition to classification precision and recall we also evaluated the time performance of the proposed methods
