Аналіз застосовності універсальних (уніфікованих) мов до моделювання предметних областей
The article is dedicated advantages and disadvantages of using a universal approach to modeling domains, as well as suggest ways to overcome these disadvantages, developed information technology domain-specific mathematical modeling, which provides an introduction to the modeling language UML structured goal models, sets, mathematical operations and combining grammars subject – oriented language grammar for the new Turing programming languages.Among the advantages are highlighted: the fullness of description Pro expandability, commonality, conformity with best programming methodology, ease of graphical notation, independent of implementation tools, community support. Among the shortcomings highlighted: many dialects, commonality, congestion language, the complexity of concepts, lack of formalization and orthogonal concepts, imprecise semantics, user restrictions, the complexity of connections with language development, the complexity of the extensions, the problems in the study and implementation of, the inability to change the modeling process, the efficiency of the code. Among the ways to overcome the deficiencies identified: each data domain should have its own domain-specific modeling language; Specialist Continuing choose his system of concepts and rules necessary to create models of ABM enabling professionals to build a modeling language with minimal system concepts that are semantically orthogonal; the user himself is building the graphical or textual notation, select the necessary methods and structure of the modeling process. The information technology of object-oriented mathematical modeling, which provides an introduction to the modeling language UML structured goal models, sets, mathematical operations and combining grammars domain-specific languages with new grammars for Turing programming languages. These materials provide an opportunity to use the proposed information technology domain-specific mathematical modeling of the process of developing specific subject areas of modeling languages. UML. Towards Model-Driven Development of Access Control Policies for Web Applications
We introduce a UML-based notation for graphically modeling
systems’ security aspects in a simple and intuitive
way and a model-driven process that transforms graphical
specifications of access control policies in XACML. These
XACML policies are then translated in FACPL, a policy
language with a formal semantics, and the resulting policies
are evaluated by means of a Java-based software tool
What is Quantum? Unifying Its Micro-Physical and Structural Appearance
We can recognize two modes in which 'quantum appears' in macro domains: (i) a
'micro-physical appearance', where quantum laws are assumed to be universal and
they are transferred from the micro to the macro level if suitable 'quantum
coherence' conditions (e.g., very low temperatures) are realized, (ii) a
'structural appearance', where no hypothesis is made on the validity of quantum
laws at a micro level, while genuine quantum aspects are detected at a
structural-modeling level. In this paper, we inquire into the connections
between the two appearances. We put forward the explanatory hypothesis that,
'the appearance of quantum in both cases' is due to 'the existence of a
specific form of organisation, which has the capacity to cope with random
perturbations that would destroy this organisation when not coped with'. We
analyse how 'organisation of matter', 'organisation of life', and 'organisation
of culture', play this role each in their specific domain of application, point
out the importance of evolution in this respect, and put forward how our
analysis sheds new light on 'what quantum is'.Comment: 10 page
A modular network treatment of Baars' Global Workspace consciousness model
Network theory provides an alternative to the renormalization and phase transition methods used in Wallace's (2005a) treatment of Baars' Global Workspace model. Like the earlier study, the new analysis produces the workplace itself, the tunable threshold of consciousness, and the essential role for embedding contexts, in an explicitly analytic 'necessary conditions' manner which suffers neither the mereological fallacy inherent to brain-only theories nor the sufficiency indeterminacy of neural network or agent-based simulations. This suggests that the new approach, and the earlier, represent different analytically solvable limits in a broad continuum of possible models, analogous to the differences between bond and site percolation or between the two and many-body limits of classical mechanics. The development significantly extends the theoretical foundations for an empirical general cognitive model (GCM) based on the Shannon-McMillan Theorem. Patterned after the general linear model which reflects the Central Limit Theorem, the proposed technique should be both useful for the reduction of expermiental data on consciousness and in the design of devices with capacities which may transcend those of conventional machines and provide new perspectives on the varieties of biological consciousness
