“The guests were arriving at the dacha...”: on the dacha topos in the poetry of Alexander Kushner

The topos of the dacha – like the topos of the city (St. Petersburg) and that of the garden – is an important element of the spatial dimension of Alexander Kushner’s poetic world. The article attempts to trace the productivity and functionality of the topos in selected texts of this contempo­rary poet. Attention is drawn to the characteristics of the categories of time and space, the constituents of the life on the dacha , as well as connections with the literary tradition. When taking up the subject, Kushner updates the rich semantics of the topos: the dacha as a place of retreat for a poet, a place of rest and work, the little homeland, a paradise on Earth.Топос дачи – наравне с топосом города (Петербурга) и сада – является существенным элементом пространственной картины мира А. С. Кушнера. В статье рассматривается функционирование топоса в выбранных стихотворениях поэта, выявляется своеобразие пространственно-временной характеристики дачи и ее бытовых составляющих, а также указываются связи с литературной традицией. Обращаясь к дачной теме, поэт актуализирует богатую семантику топоса: дача как место уединения, приют поэта, место отдыха и труда, малая родина, (земной) рай

Human Associations Help to Detect Conventionalized Multiword Expressions

In this paper we show that if we want to obtain human evidence about conventionalization of some phrases, we should ask native speakers about associations they have to a given phrase and its component words. We have shown that if component words of a phrase have each other as frequent associations, then this phrase can be considered as conventionalized. Another type of conventionalized phrases can be revealed using two factors: low entropy of phrase associations and low intersection of component word and phrase associations. Исследована растительность Козарского лесного массива. Дана характеристика ценозов основных синтаксонов растительности. В сообществах выявлены виды, занесенные в Приложение № 1 Бернской конвенции, Красную книгу Украины и список регионально редких видов Черниговской обл. Обосновывается присвоение заказнику местного значения «Козарская дача» статуса ботанического заказника общегосударственного значения.Vegetation of the Kozary (Kozarsky) Forest was investigated. Characterization of cenoses of main vegetation syntaxa is given. Species listed in Annex I of the Bern Convention, the Red Data Book of Ukraine, and the regional list of rare species are revealed in plant communities. Justifications are provided for giving the Kozarska Dacha Forest the status of the botanical preserve (zakaznik) of national significance

Материалы к фауне пауков Подольской лесостепи (Украина)

В коллекции пауков, собранной в июне 1982 г. в государственном заказнике «Пановецкая дача» (Каменец-Подольский р-н, Хмельницкая обл., Украина), идентифицировано 154 вида, из которых 135 впервые приводятся для этой местности. Дана таблица распределения всех обнаруженных видов по основным биотопам Подольской лесостепи. Определена специфичность населения пауков каждого из этих биотопов. Для самок некоторых видов выполнены оригинальные рисунки просветленной эпигины.154 spider species colleced in the ‘’Panovietzkaja Datscha’’ Reserve (Kamienietz-Podolski district, Khmelnitsky region, Ukraine) in June 1982 were identified. 135 species are recorded from this area for the first time. The table of spider species distribution in the principal biotopes of the Podolian wood-and-steppe is provided. The specificity of spider population was determined for each biotope. Original pictures of the cleared epigyne are provided for females of certain species

Development of the City Public Service Model on the Basis of Integrated Transport Flow Indicators

The problem of modeling public services based on architectural and planning decisions is considered, the role of traffic in the formation of a model of city services is analyzed. An integrated criterion for the quality of public services is proposed. A method has been developed for determining segmented public services taking into account the transport areas of the city, which will make it possible to evenly disperse public service centers. The basis is a socio-planning organization, as a material-spatial system containing anthropogenic and natural components – the territory and institutions where the functional processes that take place in the urban planning environment take place. The described model has certain versatility, and is simultaneously suitable for characterizing various categories of service institutions. Thus, the task of optimizing the quality of public services in the city is reduced to a mathematical model for which, by setting the basic design criteria, the optimal result can be obtained.On the basis of a questionnaire survey and analysis of statistical data, calculation of traffic intensity, the demand and supply of the level of public services фre studied. The structural elements of this model: population, territory, transport and service institutions, are in dialectical interaction, which is described by the mathematical model in this study. The model is based on the calculation of the minimum population in the service area, which allows to have i-th type establishments using the social potential method, as well as a graph-analytical method in determining the optimal location of service institutions in the city.As a result of the research, a conceptual model of public services for cities is built, a layout of supermarkets in the territory of Uzhhorod and distribution of service areas of these institutions is proposed. This optimization will ensure uniform domestic servicing of the territory, optimal performance indicators of service establishments and minimum average service radii of points
