    The impact of professional photography in digital marketing

    U ovom diplomskom radu daje se pregled o fotografiji i digitalnom marketingu kao i o njihovoj povezanosti te se istražuje utjecaj profesionalne fotografije u digitalnom marketingu s naglaskom na važnost vizualnog sadržaja u suvremenim marketinškim strategijama. Diplomski rad započinje uvodom u povijest fotografije i njezinih žanrova (portretna, pejzažna, sportska, reklamna, ulična, koncertna, subjektivna i apstraktna). Nadalje, dio rada posvećen je osnovnim fotografskim pojmovima poput blende, brzine zatvarača, ISO osjetljivosti, kompozicije i planova. Nabrojani i u ovom diplomskom radu opisani pojmovi od izuzetne su važnosti kako bi se razumjela kompleksnost dobivanja kvalitetne fotografije u svrhu pozitivnog utjecaja na digitalni marketing. Isto tako, naglasak je stavljen na osnovne karakteristike digitalnog marketinga, njegovog prijelaza s tradicionalnog na digitalni te prednosti i nedostatke modernih digitalnih marketinških taktika. Središnji dio rada istražuje integraciju fotografije u digitalni marketing, analizira povijest fotografije u marketinškom kontekstu i ističe snagu profesionalnih vizualnih elemenata u privlačenju i zadržavanju pažnje promatrača. Istraživački dio rada kojem je cilj istražiti utjecaj profesionalne fotografije u digitalnom marketingu uključuje hipotezu o važnosti profesionalne fotografije u digitalnom marketingu, analizu podataka i zaključak koji potvrđuje važnost profesionalne fotografije u digitalnom marketingu. Na kraju, izneseni su zaključci o ulozi profesionalne fotografije u kreiranju uspješnih digitalnih strategija.This thesis provides an overview of photography and digital marketing, as well as their connection, and explores the influence of professional photography in digital marketing, with an emphasis on the importance of visual content in contemporary marketing strategies. The thesis begins with an introduction to the history of photography and its genres (portrait, landscape, sports, advertising, street, concert, subjective, and abstract). Furthermore, part of the thesis is dedicated to basic photographic concepts such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, composition, and shots. The concepts listed and described in this thesis are of utmost importance in understanding the complexity of obtaining quality photography for the purpose of positively influencing digital marketing. Likewise, emphasis is placed on the basic characteristics of digital marketing, its transition from traditional to digital, and the advantages and disadvantages of modern digital marketing tactics. The central part of the thesis explores the integration of photography into digital marketing, analyzes the history of photography in a marketing context, and highlights the power of professional visual elements in attracting and retaining the attention of the viewer. The research part of the work, which aims to investigate the influence of professional photography in digital marketing, includes a hypothesis about the importance of professional photography in digital marketing, data analysis and a conclusion that confirms the importance of professional photography in digital marketing. At the end, conclusions are presented about the role of professional photography in creating successful digital strategies

    Evaluation of selected code generation AI models in responsive web design

    Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje mogućnosti besplatno dostupnih AI modela, koji se mogu koristiti i izvanmrežno, u generiranju koda za izradu web stranice. Istraživanje se usredotočuje na procjenu izvedbe pet najboljih modela kroz zadatak izrade jednostavne responzivne web stranice temeljene na unaprijed definiranom dizajnu. Svaki se model procjenjuje pomoću šest ključnih kriterija: HTML kvaliteta, CSS kvaliteta i vizualna vjernost, učinkovitost koda i optimizacija, funkcionalnost i interaktivnost, semantički HTML i pristupačnost te responzivnost. Teorijski dio ovog rada bavi se evolucijom AI tehnologija, počevši od ranih chatbot sustava, rješenja temeljena na AIML-u koji su postavili temelje za moderne AI aplikacije pa do uspona obrade prirodnog jezika i umjetne inteligencije. Praktični dio će biti izrada dizajna jednostavne responzivne web stranice i prema tome stvaranje zadatka koji će se zadati svakom modelu. Istraživanje koristi standardizirani okvir za ocjenjivanje kako bi se osigurala dosljednost i pravednost u svim modelima. Rezultati ističu značajne razlike u sposobnostima modela, naglašavajući prednosti i slabosti. Cilj istraživanja je pronaći najbolji model za generiranje koda za izradu jednostavne responzivne web stranice.This thesis explores the capabilities of freely available AI models, which can also be used offline, in generating code for website development. The research focuses on evaluating the performance of the five best models through the task of creating a simple responsive website based on a predefined design. Each model is assessed using six key criteria: HTML quality, CSS quality and visual fidelity, code efficiency and optimization, functionality and interactivity, semantic HTML and accessibility, and responsiveness. The theoretical part of this thesis examines the evolution of AI technologies, starting from early chatbot systems and AIML-based solutions that laid the foundation for modern AI applications to the rise of natural language processing and artificial intelligence. The practical part involves designing a simple responsive website and creating a task that will be assigned to each model accordingly. The research employs a standardized evaluation framework to ensure consistency and fairness across all models. The results highlight significant differences in model capabilities, emphasizing strengths and weaknesses. The goal of this research is to identify the best model for generating code for the development of a simple responsive website

    The role of electrical engineers in the carrying out expert construction supervision

    U ovome radu opisan je proces provođenja stručnog nadzora inženjera elektrotehnike nad izvođenjem radova na električnim instalacijama prilikom izgradnje, s naglaskom na poslovne objekte u trenutku nakon izdavanja građevinske dozvole. Prikazani su ključni dokumenti i postupci potrebni za provedbu nadzora te je istaknuta važnost osiguranja kvalitete rada i procesa. Detaljno je razrađen redoslijed i postupak prikupljanja dokumentacije, uz objašnjenje principa imenovanja nadzornog i glavnog nadzornog inženjera te voditelja električnih radova. Uz teorijski prikaz, objašnjena je i analiza stvarnih dokumenata korištenih u projektima Matrix C i rekonstrukcije postojeće zgrade Hrvatskoga prirodoslovnog muzeja u Zagrebu. Matrix C treći je objekt u sklopu poslovnog kompleksa Matrix Office Park, smještena na križanju Slavonske avenije, Heinzelove ulice i Radničke ceste. Ovaj rad naglašava važnost pravilnog provođenja stručnog nadzora nad izvođenjem radova i dokumentacijske procedure, čime se osiguravaju kvaliteta i sigurnost elektroinstalacijskih sustava u građevinskim projektima.This paper describes the process of conducting qualified supervision by an electrical engineer during the execution of electrical installation works during construction of commercial buildings, with a focus on the phase following the issuance of the building permit. It presents the key documents and procedures necessary for the supervision process and highlights the importance of ensuring work and process quality. The study provides a detailed overview of the sequence and process of document collection, along with an explanation of the appointment principles for the supervising engineer, chief supervising engineer, and electrical works manager. In addition to the theoretical framework, an analysis of real documents used in the Matrix C project and the reconstruction of the existing Croatian Natural History Museum building in Zagreb is included. Matrix C is the third building within the Matrix Office Park business complex, located at the intersection of Slavonska Avenue, Heinzlova Street, and Radnička Road. This paper emphasizes the importance of proper implementation of qualified supervision and documentation procedures, ensuring the quality and safety of electrical installation systems in construction projects

    Application of special types of turbines at locations near the measuring stations "Luke" and "Turkovići" on the Gornja Dobra River

    U ovom diplomskom radu analizira se rijeka Gornja Dobra kod hidroloških postaja Luke i Turkovići u svrhu određivanja potencijala i mogućnosti gradnje malih hidroelektrana na tim dijelovima vodotoka, s naglaskom na posebne turbine. U samom radu daje se uvid u podatke o vodostaju, protoku i poprečnim presjecima rijeke Gornje Dobre kod obje hidrološke postaje, preuzetih od „Državnog hidrometeorološkog zavoda Republike Hrvatske“. Također u radu se obrađuju turbine, njihova podjela te sam princip rada kao i već izgrađene hidroelektrane na području rijeke Donje Dobre. U samom radu provodi se proračun turbina koje koriste potencijalnu energiju i turbina koje koriste kinetičku energiju vode, uz detaljnu analizu rezultata proračuna snage turbina. Na kraju diplomskog rada provodi se analiza dobivenih podataka te se prikazuje procjena o potencijalu tog dijela vodotoka, odnosno mogućnosti gradnje malih hidroelektrana uz primjenu posebnih vrsta turbina.This thesis analyzes the Gornja Dobra River at the Luke and Turkovići hydrological measurement stations to determine the potential and possibilities of building small hydropower plants on these parts of the watercourse, emphasizing special turbines. The paper provides insight into data on water level, flow, and cross-sections of the Gornja Dobra River at both hydrological stations, taken from the "State Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republic Croatia". The paper also discusses turbines, their classification, the principle of operation, and the hydropower plants that have already been built in the Donja Dobra River area. The paper calculates turbines that use potential energy and turbines that use the kinetic energy of water, with a detailed analysis of the results of the turbine power calculation. At the end of the thesis, an analysis of the data obtained is carried out, and an assessment of the potential of this part of the watercourse, i.e., the possibilities of building small hydropower plants using special types of turbines, is presented

    The Impact of the Horizon 2020 Programme on the Performance of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Republic of Croatia

    Program Obzor 2020, kao najveći okvirni program Europske unije za financiranje istraživanja i inovacija u razdoblju 2014.–2020., imao je za cilj jačanje znanstvene izvrsnosti, poticanje tehnološkog napretka i povećanje konkurentnosti europskog gospodarstva. S obzirom na strateški značaj takvih instrumenata financiranja za mikro, mala i srednja poduzeća (MSP), osobito u državama poput Republike Hrvatske, u ovom radu istražuje se povezanost sudjelovanja u programu Obzor 2020 s poslovnom uspješnošću hrvatskih poduzeća iz tog sektora. U kontekstu dostupnih oblika financiranja poduzetništva, razmatrana je uloga bespovratnih sredstava i potpora, posebice onih iz EU fondova, kao i institucionalna spremnost za njihovu apsorpciju. Analizom podataka o korisnicima programa, uključujući prihode, dobit i ukupnu aktivu poduzeća, ispitane su promjene u poslovanju prije i nakon primitka sredstava. Podaci su prikupljeni iz službenih nacionalnih i europskih izvora, uključujući FINA-u, Digitalnu komoru te baze podataka Europske komisije. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju pozitivan trend u poslovnim pokazateljima korisnika programa, pri čemu je zabilježen rast prihoda i dobiti kod većine poduzeća, kao i povećanje aktive. Unatoč činjenici da je Hrvatska ispod prosjeka EU-a u ukupnoj uspješnosti povlačenja sredstava, određeni sektori, osobito ICT i poslovne usluge, ističu se kao aktivniji i uspješniji korisnici. Zaključuje se da sudjelovanje u programima poput Obzora 2020 pozitivno utječe na financijsku stabilnost i konkurentnost MSP-ova, ali je nužno dodatno unaprijediti institucionalnu podršku, edukaciju i umreženost kako bi se povećala razina apsorpcije dostupnih sredstava u budućnosti.Horizon 2020, the largest framework programme of the European Union for funding research and innovation in the period from 2014 to 2020, aimed to strengthen scientific excellence, promote technological progress, and enhance the competitiveness of the European economy. Given the strategic importance of such funding instruments for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in countries like Croatia, this thesis explores the relationship between participation in the Horizon 2020 programme and the business performance of Croatian enterprises within this sector. In the context of available sources of business financing, the role of grants and subsidies, particularly those from EU funds, and the institutional capacity to absorb them is examined. By analysing data on programme beneficiaries, including revenue, profit, and total assets, the study investigates changes in business performance before and after receiving funding. Data were collected from official national and European sources, including FINA (the Croatian Financial Agency), the Digital Chamber, and databases of the European Commission. The results indicate a positive trend in the business indicators of programme beneficiaries, with most enterprises recording increases in both revenue and profit, as well as growth in total assets. Although Croatia remains below the EU average in terms of overall absorption of funds, certain sectors – particularly ICT and business services – stand out as more active and successful participants. The thesis concludes that participation in programmes such as Horizon 2020 contributes positively to the financial stability and competitiveness of SMEs; however, further improvement of institutional support, education, and networking is essential in order to increase the level of fund absorption in the future

    Kroz ovaj završni rad istaknuta je iznimna važnost menadžmenta ljudskih potencijala u današnjem poslovnom svijetu i okruženju. Najviše važnosti pridaje se potrebi za kontinuiranim usavršavanjem zaposlenika, a profesionalni razvoj i stalno educiranje zaposlenika ključno je za napredovanje u svim profesijama i poslovnim sektorima. Kontinuirano usavršavanje zaposlenika, različitim poslovnim organizacijama, omogućuje lakšu prilagodbu stalnim promjenama na tržištu, ali što je najvažnije od svega, upravo na taj način održavaju svoju konkurentnost na tržištu. Edukacije zaposlenicima omogućuju osobni i poslovni napredak u što su između ostalog uključene: povećanje stručnosti unutar organizacije, većoj produktivnosti te mogućnosti da radnik razvije sposobnost odgovora na izazove koje tržište donosi. Cjeloživotno obrazovanje je pojam s kojim se susrećemo iz dana u dan, a važno je jer kontinuirano učenje pomaže svakom zaposleniku da ostvari konkurentnost na tržištu rada. Postoje razni oblici obrazovanja, a zaposlenicima se pruža mogućnost stjecanja nekih novih vještina i znanja koje mogu primjenjivati u svakodnevnim izvršavanjima poslovnih zadataka. Educirani radnik povećat će učinkovitost i produktivnost na radnom mjestu. Osim profesionalnog razvoja, od velike je važnosti motiviranje radnika te mogućnost unaprjeđenja i mogućnost planiranja karijere unutar organizacije. Motivacija može biti materijalnog i nematerijalnog oblika, a oba oblika su izuzetno važni faktori koji utječu na uspješnost i angažman zaposlenika kod obavljanja svakodnevnih ranih zadataka. Motivirani zaposlenici kojima se pruža mogućnost napredovanja, pokazuju veće zadovoljstvo na radnom mjestu, a to direktno pridonosi pozitivnom okruženju unutar organizacije. Pozitivno radno okruženje rezultira kvalitetnom radnom atmosferom te doprinosi zadržavanju sposobnih i talentiranih zaposlenika. Kvalitetna i pozitivna radna atmosfera unutar organizacije smanjuje fluktuaciju radne snage u organizaciji. Razvoj karijere razmatra se kao dinamični proces u kojem zaposlenici usklađuju osobne ciljeve i ciljeve poslovne organizacije. Svakom zaposleniku važno je da ima mogućnost upravljanja karijerom, uzimajući u obzir potrebe i poslovne ciljeve koje nastoji ostvariti. U radu je stavljen naglasak na to da su čimbenici poput važnosti ulaganja u ljudske resurse, obrazovanja zaposlenika, motivacije i planiranja razvoja karijere osnovni elementi za stvaranje uspješne poslovne organizacije. Takva će se poslovna organizacija uspješno suočiti s izazovima koji je čekaju u budućnosti. Nova znanja i vještine koje zaposlenici steknu mogu biti samo velika prednost u poslovanju. Bitno je naglasiti da je upravljanje ljudskim resursima važno za uspjeh svake organizacije jer potiče osobni i profesionalni razvoj zaposlenika, što ih čini zadovoljnijim i motiviranijim.Through this final paper, the exceptional importance of Human Resources Management in today's business world and environment was highlighted. The highest importance is given to the need for continuous improvement of employees, and professional development and continuous education of employees is key for advancement in all professions and business sectors. Continuous training of employees, to different business organizations, allows easier adaptation to constant changes in the market, but most importantly, it is precisely in this way that they maintain their competitiveness on the market. Employee education enables personal and business progress, which includes, among other things: increased expertise within the organization, increased productivity and opportunities for workers to develop the ability to respond to the challenges posed by the market. Lifelong education is a concept that we encounter day by day, and it is important because continuous learning helps every employee to achieve competitiveness in the labor market. There are various forms of education, and employees are given the opportunity to acquire some new skills and knowledge that they can apply in the daily execution of business tasks. An educated worker will increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace. In addition to professional development, it is of great importance to motivate workers and to improve and to plan careers within the organization. Motivation can be of material and intangible form, and both forms are extremely important factors that affect the performance and engagement of employees in performing daily early tasks. Motivated employees who are given the opportunity to progress show greater satisfaction in the workplace, and this directly contributes to a positive environment within the organization. A positive working environment results in a quality working atmosphere and contributes to the retention of capable and talented employees. A quality and positive working atmosphere within an organization reduces the fluctuation of the workforce in the organization. Career development is considered as a dynamic process in which employees harmonize personal goals and goals of the business organization. It is important for every employee to have the ability to manage their career, taking into account the needs and business goals they seek to achieve. The paper emphasizes that factors such as the importance of investing in human resources, employee education, motivation and career development planning are the basic elements for creating a successful business organization. Such a business organization will successfully face the challenges that await it in the future. It is important to emphasize that human resource management is important for the success of any organization because it encourages personal and professional development of employees, which makes them more satisfied and motivated

    Welding of Dissimilar Materials in the Production of Railway Components

    Ovaj diplomski rad sastavljen je od teorijskog dijela u kojem je opisano zavarivanje raznorodnih čelika u proizvodnji željezničkih komponenti. Objašnjen je odabrani postupak zavarivanja raznorodnih čelika te proces definiranja parametara. Eksperimentalni dio se sastoji od određivanja potrebnih parametara, tehnologije i izvedbe zavarenog spoja nelegiranog općeg konstrukcijskog i austenitnog nehrđajućeg čelika. Prikazane su i navedene greške u zavarenom spoju te je napravljena i prikazana analiza makroizbrusaka zavarenog spoja. Pomoću Schaefflerova dijagrama pretpostavljena je mikrostruktura, te je napravljeno mjerenje tvrdoće i feritometrija.This thesis consists of a theoretical section describing the welding of dissimilar steels in the production of railway components. The selected welding process for dissimilar steels and the procedure for defining the welding parameters are explained. The experimental section involves determining the required parameters, welding technology, and execution of a welded joint between a non-alloy structural steel and an austenitic stainless steel. Welding defects are identified and presented, and a macrographic analysis of the welded joint is conducted and displayed. Using the Schaeffler diagram, the microstructure is predicted, followed by hardness measurement and ferrite content analysis

    Knowledge and opinions of healthcare workers about Legionnaires' disease

    Broj slučajeva legionarske bolesti u svijetu se značajno povećao u zadnjem desetljeću te je taj trend i danas prisutan. Legionarska bolest je karakterizirana vrlo nespecifičnim znakovima od strane dišnog sustava (upala pluća s općim znakovima infekcije uzrokovana bakterijom Legionella pneumophila), te je važno povećati svijest o mogućnosti njene pojave, kako bi se kod sumnje na pojavu legionarske bolesti provelo testiranje i tako spriječilo daljnje širenje bolesti iz nekog izvora. Svrha ovog istraživanja je utvrditi znanje zdravstvenih djelatnika/ca Republike Hrvatske o legionarskoj bolest. Provedenim se istraživanjem željelo ustanoviti u kojoj su mjeri zdravstveni djelatnici upoznati sa uzročnikom, načinima širenja, simptomima, kliničkom slikom, dijagnostičkim pretragama i drugim specifičnostima legionarske bolesti; te kakav stav imaju prema toj bolesti, ovisno o socio-demografskoj grupaciji kojoj pripadaju. Rezultati prikupljeni od gotovo 200 zdravstvenih djelatnika/ca pokazuju da zdravstveni djelatnici zaposleni na različitim razinama sustava zdravstvene zaštite se ne razlikuju statistički značajno u razini znanja o legionarskoj bolesti no da je ta razina relativno niska te da pogrešno identificiraju osnovne simptome legionarske bolesti, dok polovica ne zna koji dijagnostički testovi nedvojbeno ukazuju na legionarsku bolest. Niska razina znanja o uzročniku i glavnim značajkama legionarske bolesti, čini slabo vjerojatnim da će se bolest na vrijeme uočiti i spriječiti njeno daljnje širenje u populaciji. Stoga je potrebno poduzeti dodatne napore kako bi se znanja o legionarskoj bolesti jasno prikazala zdravstvenim djelatnicima, kako bi temeljem tog znanja djelovali u svojoj sredini i prepoznavanjem pojave bolesti, osigurali ispravnu dijagnostiku, pravovremeno i liječenje i skrb o oboljelome. Istodobno, zdravstveni djelatnici s visokom razinom znanja o uvjetima razmnožavanja legionela (temperaturni raspon), načinima širenja (aerosolima iz sustava klimatizacije i vodovodnog sustava, bez izravnog prijenosa među ljudima) i predisponirajućim čimbenicima mogu djelotvorno utjecati na sprječavanje daljnjih slučajeva i širenje legionarske bolesti.The number of cases of Legionnaires' disease in the world has increased significantly in the last decade, and this trend is still present today. Legionnaires' disease is characterized by very non-specific signs of the respiratory system (pneumonia with general signs of infection caused by the bacterium Legionella pneumophila), and it is important to increase awareness of the possibility of its occurrence, so that if Legionnaires' disease is suspected, testing can be carried out and thus prevent further spread of the disease from some source. The purpose of this research is to determine the knowledge of healthcare workers in the Republic of Croatia about Legionnaires' disease. The research aimed to determine the extent to which healthcare workers are familiar with the causative agent, modes of spread, symptoms, clinical picture, diagnostic tests and other specific features of Legionnaires' disease; and what their attitude towards the disease is, depending on the socio-demographic group to which they belong. The results collected from almost 200 healthcare professionals show that healthcare professionals employed at different levels of the healthcare system do not differ statistically significantly in their level of knowledge about Legionnaires' disease, but that this level is relatively low and that they incorrectly identify the basic symptoms of Legionnaires' disease, while half of them do not know which diagnostic tests unequivocally indicate Legionnaires' disease. The low level of knowledge about the causative agent and the main features of Legionnaires' disease makes it unlikely that the disease will be detected in time and its further spread in the population will be prevented. Therefore, additional efforts are needed to clearly present knowledge about Legionnaires' disease to healthcare professionals, so that they can act on the basis of this knowledge in their environment and by recognizing the occurrence of the disease, ensure correct diagnosis, timely treatment and care for the patient. At the same time, healthcare professionals with a high level of knowledge about the conditions for the reproduction of Legionella (temperature range), the ways of spread (aerosols from air conditioning and water systems, without direct transmission between people) and predisposing factors can effectively influence the prevention of further cases and the spread of Legionnaires' disease

    Three-dimensional modeling and space visualization

    Trodimenzionalno modeliranje i vizualizacija prostora predstavljaju pristup geodetskoj struci koji omogućuje preciznu digitalnu rekonstrukciju stvarnog okoliša i njegovo jasno vizualno predstavljanje. Ovaj rad bavi se analizom tog procesa kroz teorijski okvir i konkretan praktični primjer, s ciljem prikazivanja primjenjivosti 3D modeliranja u tehničkom, prostornom i interdisciplinarnom smislu. U početnim poglavljima objašnjena je važnost modeliranja i vizualizacije prostora u današnjoj praksi. Modeliranje se temelji na podacima prikupljenima GNSS-om, fotogrametrijom, LiDARom i klasičnim geodetskim metodama, dok vizualizacija omogućuje realističan prikaz modela za potrebe analize, planiranja i prezentacije. Predstavljeni su ključni produkti kao što su oblak točaka, mesh modeli i ortofoto karte. Posebna pažnja posvećena je mogućnostima primjene ovih modela samostalno ili kroz integraciju u GIS/BIM sustave. Središnji dio rada obuhvaća izradu konkretnog 3D modela prostora na temelju snimaka prikupljenih bespilotnom letjelicom, koristeći softver 3Dsurvey. Detaljno su prikazane sve faze obrade: učitavanje snimaka, orijentacija, bundle adjustment, rekonstrukcija oblaka točaka i generiranje završnih modela. Analizom izrade utvrđena je visoka učinkovitost softvera, ali i izazovi poput osjetljivosti na kvalitetu ulaznih podataka, složenost terena, ograničenja računalne opreme, te iskustvo korisnika. Rezultati su pokazali da true ortofoto i 3D mesh postižu najbolju razinu točnosti i detaljnosti u vizualizaciji, dok regular mesh i traditional ortofoto imaju određena ograničenja u prikazu složenijih struktura. Rad time potvrđuje kako trodimenzionalno modeliranje i vizualizacija, utemeljeni na geodetskoj preciznosti i računalnoj obradi, predstavljaju ključan alat za razumijevanje, upravljanje i prezentaciju prostora u suvremenom okruženju.Three-dimensional spatial modelling and visualization represent a methodological approach within geodetic science that enables precise digital reconstruction of the real environment and its clear visual representation. This paper explores the process through a theoretical framework and a practical case study, aiming to demonstrate the applicability of 3D modelling in technical, spatial, and interdisciplinary contexts. The initial chapters outline the significance of spatial modelling and visualization in contemporary practice. Modelling is based on data acquired through GNSS, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and conventional geodetic methods, while visualization enables realistic depiction of models for analysis, planning, and presentation purposes. Key products such as point clouds, mesh models, and orthophoto maps are presented. Particular emphasis is placed on the potential for independent use of these models or their integration into GIS/BIM systems. The central section of the paper focuses on the development of a specific 3D model of a real-world site based on UAV-captured images, using the 3Dsurvey software. All processing stages are explained in detail: image import, orientation, bundle adjustment, point cloud reconstruction, and generation of final models. The analysis of the workflow confirms the software’s high efficiency, but also identifies challenges related to input data quality, terrain complexity, hardware limitations, and user expertise. The results demonstrate that true orthophotos and 3D mesh models provide the highest levels of accuracy and detail in visualization, whereas regular mesh and traditional orthophotos show limitations when depicting more complex spatial structures. The findings confirm that 3D spatial modelling and visualization, grounded in geodetic accuracy and computational processing constitute an essential tool for spatial understanding, management, and presentation in modern environments

    Migracije kao i njihov utjecaj na razvoj ljudskog društva dotiču svaki dio poznate nam povijesti, modeliraju ga, preoblikuju i stvaraju nove korelacije, nove vrijednosti kao i nove načine života. Dolazi do prijenosa znanja, ljudi i tehnologije, što ubrzava napredak pojedinih društava, dok globalna povezanost istovremeno gradi temelje za njegovo ujednačavanje. Trenutna geopolitička situacija značajno potiče migracije koje su bitno brže nego li ikada u povijesti. Istovremeno, znanje, tehnologija i njena primjena znatno olakšavaju i ubrzavaju procese (rad, učenje, umjetnost, trgovinu i ostala područja ljudskog djelovanja), čine ih jednostavnijima, jeftinijima i strukturiranijima. No, svi ti procesi i globalno dostupni izvori, ujedno donose i mnoštvo podataka koje je nezamislivo teško procesirati bez pomoći poslovne analitike. Razvoj konceptualnih modela poslovne analitike donio je rješenja kako nestrukturirane podatke pretvoriti u korisne informacije, kako doći do znanja i uvida, koji uz korištenje deskriptivnih, prediktivnih i preskriptivnih alata čine temelj za kvalitetno donošenje odluka i anticipiranje budućnosti. Kombinacijom poslovne inteligencije Microsoft Power BI, statističkog alata IBM SPSS Statistics i stvarnih iskustava iz prakse, ovaj rad pruža višedimenzionalan uvid u ulogu stranih radnika u hrvatskom gospodarstvu, naglašavajući potrebu za uravnoteženim pristupom koji uzima u obzir i ekonomske benefite, ali i društvene aspekte njihove integracije. Cilj rada je istražiti stavove i iskustva poslodavaca u Republici Hrvatskoj o zapošljavanju stranih radnika i usporediti ih s kvantitativnim podacima koji prikazuju njihov stvarni utjecaj na gospodarstvo. U tom kontekstu, rad nastoji odgovoriti na nekoliko istraživačkih pitanja: Postoji li nesrazmjer između percepcije i stvarnog doprinosa stranih radnika u hrvatskom gospodarstvu? Jesu li strani radnici prepoznati od strane poslodavaca kao bitan resurs za ostvarenje planirane poslovne aktivnosti i produktivnosti? Jesu li strani radnici u Hrvatskoj najzastupljeniji u sektorima gdje postoji manjak domaće radne snage, s najvećom koncentracijom u sektoru industrije i županijama gdje su više neto plaće? Ima li zapošljavanje stranih radnika statistički značajan utjecaj na razvoj i održivost gospodarske aktivnosti u Republici Hrvatskoj?Migration and its impact on the development of human society touch every part of known history, (re)shaping it and creating new correlations, new values and new ways of life. There is a transfer of knowledge, people and technology, which accelerates the progress of individual societies, while global connectivity simultaneously builds the foundations for its unification. The current geopolitical situation significantly encourages migrations that are significantly faster than ever before in history. At the same time, knowledge, technology and its application significantly facilitate and accelerate processes (work, learning, art, trade and other areas of human activity), making them simpler, cheaper and more structured. However, all these processes and globally available sources also bring a wealth of data that is unimaginably difficult to process without the help of business intelligence. The development of conceptual models of business intelligence has brought solutions to how to turn unstructured data into useful information, how to gain knowledge and insight, which, with the use of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive tools, form the basis for quality decision-making and anticipation of the future. By combining Microsoft Power BI business intelligence, IBM SPSS Statistics statistical tool and real-world experiences, this paper provides a multidimensional insight into the role of foreign workers in the Croatian economy, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach that takes into account both the economic benefits and the social aspects of their integration. The aim of the paper is to explore the attitudes and experiences of employers in the Croatia regarding the employment of foreign workers and compare them with quantitative data showing their real impact on the economy. In this context, the paper seeks to answer several research questions: Is there a disparity between the perception and actual contribution of foreign workers to the Croatian economy? Are foreign workers recognized by employers as an important resource for achieving planned business activity and productivity? Are foreign workers in Croatia most represented in sectors where there is a shortage of domestic labor, with the highest concentration in the industrial sector and counties where net wages are higher? Does the employment of foreign workers have a statistically significant impact on the development and sustainability of economic activity in Croatia
