Results on Expansion Maps in Fuzzy Menger Space via Property-(E.A) and (E.A)-like Property

    Get PDF
The main goal of this paper is to establish two results in fuzzy menger space by using property-(E.A), (E.A) like property and occasionally weakly compatible mappings. Furthermore these results are justified with proper examples. These are generalization of the theorem proved by Diwan and others.

Common fixed points for two pairs of selfmaps satisfying certain contraction condition in bb-metric spaces

    Get PDF
This study introduces generalized contraction for two pairs of selfmaps in complete bb-metric spaces, and it then establishes the existence of common fixed points under the presumptions that these two pairs of maps are weakly compatible and satisfy the condition for generalized contraction.  A sequence of selfmaps is added as an extension of the same.  Additionally, we demonstrate the same using various hypotheses on two pairs of selfmaps that satisfy the bb-(E.A)-property.  Some of the conclusions in the literature are extended /generalized to two pairs of self maps by our theorems

Determining dependence among random variables across observations

    Get PDF
It is common in applied research to analyze data from data generating processes with dependencies among random variables across observations.  Such dependencies impact power calculations and standard errors.  However, it is also common to mistake the structure of data for the structure of the data generating process and thereby to use inappropriate standard error estimators.  The challenge is not merely to distinguish data from data generating processes but also to determine dependence.  This paper discusses the problem and provides a four-step guide, with examples, for determining dependence of random variables across observations

Fixed Point Results for (ψ, ϕ)-Contractive Mapping in GF-Metric Space

    Get PDF
The main goal of this work is to present GF -metric space, a new generalization of G-metric space. A comparison between the classes of G-metric spaces, GP-metric spaces, Gb-metric spaces, generalized Gb-metric spaces, and G∗ -metric spaces and the class of GF - metric spaces is also presented. We examine a few fundamental aspects of this newly defined abstract space. Proving the Banach contraction principle and the fixed point result for (ψ, ϕ)-contractive mapping in the context of GF -metric spaces is the paper’s secondary goa

    Octagonal prime graceful labeling

    Get PDF
    Let G be a graph with p vertices and q edges. Define a bijection f : V (G) → {1, 8, ..., p(3p - 2)} by f(vi) = i(3i - 2) for every i from 1 to p and define a 1 - 1 mapping fopgl ∗ : E(G) → set of natural number N such that f∗(uv) = |f(u) - f(v)| for all edges (uv) ∈ E(G).The induced function f is said to be octagonal prime graceful labeling if the gcin of each vertex of degree atleast 2 is one.

Some Aspects of Soft μ-α-open sets and Soft μ-β-open sets in Soft Generalized Topological Spaces

    Get PDF
In this paper, we studied and analysed some of the properties of soft μ-α-open sets and soft μ-β-open sets in soft generalized topological spaces. Also we investigate the inter-relationship among several weaker forms of soft μ-open sets in soft generalized topological spaces

Generalized soft multi connectedness and compactness

    Get PDF
The significance of connectedness and compactness plays a vital role in studying the properties of topological spaces. Numerous authors explored several characterizations of topological spaces using these notions. Researchers had attempted to generalize the concepts of connectedness and compactness in various generalized topological spaces like ideal topological spaces, soft topological spaces, fuzzy topological spaces etc. In the year 2013, Babitha and John studied the concept of connectedness in soft multi topological spaces. Since then the study of these concepts has created a gap in the literature. The uniosity about the generalizations of connectedness and compactness in soft multi topological spaces explored this article

On Nano Generalized α^(**) Continuous and Nano Generalized α^(**) Irresolute Mappings

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to present nano generalized - continuous functions and nano generalized - irresolute mappings in Nano Topological Spaces. We introduce the terminologies for the sets, Nano Supremum and Nano Infimum. The fundamental properties of these functions with nano interior, nano closure, nano supremum, and nano infimum are investigated. The terms nano generalized - open mapping, nano generalized -closed mapping and nano generalized - homeomorphism are also defined and their associations with other continuous functions are investigated

Participation, democracy and sustainable politics: a first reading (Partecipazione, democrazia e politica sostenibile: una prima lettura)

    Get PDF
English AbstractIn this first interpretative reading, this work focuses, also through the use of numerous sources found, on the idea-strength of the active participation of citizens in the political life of their community as a central element for the complete realization of democracy and the pursuit of a sustainable policy. By examining in detail both the traditional tools and the innovative methodologies, we will try to understand how to increase active participation, in particular of the new generations, and, above all by pushing it so that it is more aware, we will be able to build an effectively democratic society, where political institutions are identified as key actors in promoting democratic participation, despite the difficulties inherent in the very angularity of the topic addressed.
