A地区の自主防災力を高める保健師の支援

A地区における防災に関するニーズをもとに開催した防災講習会が住民の意識に与える影響および自主防災力を高めるための保健師の支援について検討した。地域の組織・団体へのインタビュー調査やA地区住民に対するアンケー結果をもとに、ニーズを反映した講習会を開催し、開催後にアンケートを実施した。各地域の組織・団体は「自主防災組織の発展」、「市や消防団との連携体制」を望んでいた。また、住民のニーズや防災講習会をとおして、①平均自立期間延伸のための取り組み、②住民組織間の連携の強化、③人材発掘、④ニーズの把握、⑤継続的かつ体験型の防災活動の実施等の保健師の支援が必要といえた

A research on the rent of the US military bases in Okinawa prefecture

本稿は沖縄の住民自治組織の中でも「自治会」（ここでは町内会，部落会，区会などの総称として用いる）に焦点を絞り，これが異質の組織特性を持つのではないかと，現地における実証調査を重ねて得た以下の仮説の経験的妥当性如何を問おうとするものである。沖縄は地域的に南部（島尻郡），中部（中頭郡），北部（国頭郡）に分けられ，それぞれ歴史的，文化的な特徴ある相違をつくりだしてきた。その意味ではこの仮説を一般化するにはやや危惧を抱くが（特に南部と中北部との相違は大きい），さらに検証を要するとはいえ概して沖縄村落社会の特性を示すのではないかと思われる。(1) 環節型社会：シマ社会の“永遠性”。琉球王府以来のムラ名がこんにちまで100年以上にわたって継続している。(2) 二重構造の住民組織：「郷友会」という名の住民間境界。特に軍用地接収によって中部，北部に見られる構造がある。(3) 行政・住民組織間の強い親和性affinity：村屋・字事務所の諸機能が1947 年内務省訓令第4 号（町内会部落会制度の廃止）発布後も行政末端機関として事実上継続する。郷友会住民間境界混住化町内会自治会環節型社

途上国における地方分権化および開発理論と実践における住民参加の流れが加速している。参加型開発の手法として発展しているPRAは、地域住民こそが開発の主体であるべきであるとし、その理念として参加民主主義を内包しており、近年は地方レベルのガバナンスの改善にまでその射程を拡大している。南インドのNGO、MYRADAは住民参加型開発の先端的な位置にあるNGOである。PRAを住民との対話の手法として積極的に活用しながら、貧困層の貯蓄とクレジットのための自助グループを組織し、自助グループを、さらに組織理念、財務および管理運営能力、紛争解決能力をもち、外部の諸機関との交渉力をもつ組識にまで育成することをその活動の核心においている。MYRADAモデルと呼びうる彼らの活動は、流水域管理、森林管理などのコミュニティを基盤とした地域共有資源について、持続可能な自己管理制度の創出に成功し、このモデルはカルナータカ州全域、ネパールに拡大している。鍵となるのは、住民の組織化、組織的能力の育成である。住民参加を可能にする地方行財政制度の整備強化と、下からの住民の組織化とエンパワーメントが進んだ時に、参加型開発は、貧困の緩和、社会的公正の実現、持続可能な組識と開発の実現という理念を広く実現する可能性を秘めている

Confucian Principles: A Study of Chinese Americans’ Interpersonal Relationships in Selected Children’s Picturebooks

[[abstract]]There has not been enough critical analysis of children’s literature by and about Chinese Americans, especially when compared to other minority groups in the United States. In particular, Chinese American historical books lack extensive analysis. It is important to reflect cultural accuracy in literature and to help children develop clear concepts of self and others by providing precise cultural and physical characteristics of people. While cultural authenticity allows children the opportunity to see a reflection of real experiences within a book instead of seeing stereotypes or misrepresentations, obtaining correct information about a certain time period can help children to see images of immigration accurately represented in literature. Using the Confucian delineation of interpersonal relationships as the major criterion of cultural authenticity, this article examines three currently available children’s picturebooks set in the historical period between 1848 and 1885. In addition to exploring how Chinese Americans’ interpersonal relationships are portrayed in these children’s historical books, this article argues for more proactive inclusion of the diversity in selection of picturebooks.[[notice]]補正完

ウェルビーイング志向の価値共創とその分析視点

The purpose of this paper is to propose viewpoints for analysing well-being oriented value co-creation. We firstly explain the concept of transformative service research: TSR which centres on consumer well-being in service and discuss its importance in serviceology as well as service marketing. Based on the systematic literature review, this paper divided into four categories of TSR studies by using two axes of “resource scarcity and resource development” and “micro and meso-macro”. We analysed two Japanese transformative service cases which include capability development in both micro and meso-macro level as the final value of service, thereby proposing additional perspectives for analysing about the resource integration for well-being oriented value co-creation
