Elektroniikkalaitekotelon konseptointi

Opinnäytetyön aiheena on elektroniikkalaitekotelon konseptointi. Aihe perustuu kariutuneeseen toimeksiantoon, jonka päämäärä oli suunnitella laitekotelo asiakkaan elektroniikkatuotteelle. Tavoitteena on löytää ideoita ja valita konseptoinnille aihe tutkimalla olemassa olevia elektroniikkatuotteita. Konseptointi valikoitui menetelmäksi sen ollessa vähemmän tuloshakuinen ja se tukee luovuuden kehittymistä. Tietopohja esitetään ilmiönä. Elektroniikkalaitteet ovat suunnittelijoidensa tuotteita ja niillä on erilaiset lähtökohdat ja suunnittelufilosofiat. Työssä on valokuvattu elektronisia laitteita ja analysoitu syntynyttä kuva-aineistoa. Tarkastelussa otetaan kantaa valokuvattujen laitteiden huomionarvoisiin ulkoisiin ominaisuuksiin. Osaa tuotteista käsitellään yksitellen ja osaa joukkona. Tuotteita pyritään arvioimaan puolueettomasti. Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi ehdotelma pelikonsolin kotelolle, joka on esitetty havainnekuvin. Konsepti saikin jonkin verran vaikutteita ja ideoita kuva-aineistosta.The topic for this thesis is to create a concept for an electronics device casing. The subject is based on an assignment, which was later canceled. The original objective was to design a specific case for a customer's electronic product. The objective is to find ideas and make a decision for the design process by analysing existing products. Conceptualising was chosen as a method as it is less goal oriented and supports creativity development. Theoretical basis is presented as a phenomenon. Electronic devices are products of their designers with different bases and design philosophies. In the thesis electronic devices have been photographed and this photo material analysed. The review pays attention to the notable external properties of the products. Some of the products are analysed separately and some as a group. The aim is to have neutral evaluation of the products. As a result a concept for a video game console casing was created and illustrated. The concept was influenced by and got ideas from the photo material

Lypsyrobottien soluseurantalaitteiden toiminnan ja hankinnan kannattavuuden arviointi

TIIVISTELMÄ Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli saada selville soluseurantalaitteiden toimivuus käytännössä. Soluseurantalaitteet ovat uusia laitteita automaattilypsyssä eikä niiden käytöstä ole aikaisempaa kokemusta. Työn tavoitteena oli saada selville kannattaako soluseurantalaitteiden hankinta ja auttavatko ne utareterveyden parantamisessa. Teoriaosassa on pyritty selvittämään utareterveyden taustoja, miten utareterveyttä voidaan ylläpitää ja mitkä ovat utaretulehduksen aiheuttamat kustannukset tuottajalle sekä utareterveyden merkitys automaattilypsyssä. Teoriassa on käsitelty myös maidon laadun merkitystä tuottajalle sekä millaisia erilaisia menetelmiä on utareterveyden seuraamiseen. Selvitys tehtiin kyselynä, joka lähetettiin kaikille soluseurantalaitetta käyttäville tiloille. Tiloilta tulleet vastaukset käsiteltiin kysymyskohtaisesti ja osa kysymyksistä jaoteltiin laitevalmistajien mukaan. Kyselyyn vastanneet tuottajat olivat pääosin tyytyväisiä soluseurantalaitteeseen. Heidän mielestään se helpottaa utareterveyden seurantaa automaattilypsyssä, mutta yksinomaan soluseurantalaitteen tuloksiin ei kannata luottaa. On myös hyvä käyttää avuksi muita lypsyrobotin tietoja. Johtopäätöksinä voi todeta soluseurantalaitteen helpottaneen ja nopeuttaneen utareterveyden seurantaa, mutta edelleenkään ei saa unohtaa hoitajan tekemää lehmän tarkkailua. Utareterveyden seurannassa on tärkeää huomioida myös muut robotin antamat tiedot kuin pelkästään maidon solupitoisuus. Cell count indicator is a new device and there isn’t any previous knowledge about using that device. The goal of the thesis was to find out whether the purchase of a cell count indicator is profitable and does it help in improving udder health. The first part of the thesis considers the background of udder health, how you can uphold it, what the expenses are for the producer from mastitis and what is the meaning of udder health in the automatic milking. The first part of the thesis also considers the meaning of milk quality to a producer and what kind of different methods there are for monitoring udder health. The research was made as an inquiry that was sent to all the farms which are using a cell count indicator. The answers were processed and some of the questions were divided by device producer. The producers who answered the inquiry were mainly satisfied with the cell count indicator. In their opinion it helps controlling udder health in automatic milking but you can’t trust entirely the results of the cell count indicator. It is good to use other information from the automatic milking system for help. For conclusion you can state that cell count indicator has helped and accelerated udder health controlling, but you still cannot forget the importance of monitoring the cows. When controlling udder health it is important to pay attention to other information from the automatic milking system besides purely milk cell count.
