Uma visão educativa: relatos das experiencias vivenciadas pelos alunos do curso de química licenciatura durante suas caminhadas escolares / An educative vision: reports of experiences experienced by students in the chemistry degree course during their school walk

O presente trabalho procede de pesquisas desenvolvidas no decorrer da disciplina de práticas curriculares na dimensão escolar que tem como foco principal a temática: a escola. A pesquisa consistiu em relatos dos alunos do curso de química licenciatura da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão-UEMA, onde os mesmos apresentam suas experiências vivenciadas ao longo da suas caminhadas escolares, desde do ensino dos anos iniciais até sua chegada a academia. Nas oportunidades os relatos retratam a importancia do ambiente escolar para sua formação como cidadão quanto para sua escolha a cursar uma universidade. Percebe-se pelos relatos dos discentes que a escola ainda é um ambiente responsável em estimular os alunos, contribuindo assim para o crescimento daquele individuo, adquirindo cada vez mais sua identidade em resumo sua cidadania. Em contra partida esse mesmo ambiente quando não cumpre com sua funçao pode simplesmente contribuir para uma desmotivação. Alguns discentes revelam ainda situações vividas que contribuiram para descontentamentos deste ambiente. Os relatos foram registrados atraves de um portfólio, ferramenta ultilizada durante a ministração da disciplina. Os resultados das pesquisas apontaram que a escola é essencial e fundamental para a construção de um individuo e a inserção do mesmo a sociedade

Evolução e impacto das técnicas de cirurgia minimamente invasiva na cirurgia cardiovascular

Este artigo de revisão integrativa examina os avanços e impactos das técnicas de cirurgia minimamente invasiva na cirurgia cardiovascular, focando nas inovações tecnológicas entre 2020 e 2024. A análise é baseada em uma busca abrangente na base de dados PubMed. As técnicas minimamente invasivas têm mostrado reduzir complicações pós-operatórias, melhorar os desfechos clínicos e diminuir os custos hospitalares. No entanto, desafios como altos custos e necessidade de treinamento especializado persistem. Conclui-se que essas técnicas representam um avanço significativo, embora haja espaço para melhorias contínuas.&nbsp

A ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO E DA INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL NA ASSISTÊNCIA DO CUIDADO DIRETO: PREVENÇÃO E CUIDADOS COM LPPs AO PACIENTE EM CUIDADOS INTENSIVOS

Objective: to identify the functions of the Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and the functions of Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT3) in the face of direct care for patients in intensive care for the prevention and care of PIs. Methodology: the foundation of the research was based on integrative literature research and the collision of the data with the Artificial Intelligence ChatGPT3 from OpenAI.com in a quantitative and qualitative way with the selected data. Results: The performance data of professional nurses in the intensive care unit for coping with artificial intelligence showed, at certain points, signs of reflection and concerns about the arrival of artificial intelligence. Conclusion: The role of the nurse in a scenario with Artificial Intelligence as a partner will require adaptation from the nurse, since, being a machine, it presents high levels of effectiveness and performance, even simulating human action in many processes to a high degree. . Molecular epidemiological investigation of Mayaro virus in febrile patients from Goiania City, 2017-2018.

Mayaro virus (MAYV) has historically been associated with sylvatic transmission; however, urban outbreaks have been reported in Brazil, including cases of co-detection with dengue virus (DENV). Therefore, we performed a molecular survey to investigate MAYV circulation and cocirculation with DENV within Goiania, a major city in Central-West Brazil. Among 375 subjects with arbovirus-like symptoms, 259 were positive for DENV and 26 for MAYV. Of these, 17 were coinfected with DENV-2, suggesting co-transmission of the viruses. The most common complaints at the time of inclusion were myalgia, headache, fever, arthralgia, retro-orbital pain, and skin rash. No specific symptoms were associated with MAYV when either detected alone or co-detected with DENV, compared to that when DENV was detected alone. Most MAYV-infected subjects were women with no recent travel history to rural/sylvatic areas. Phylogenetic reconstruction indicated that the MAYV identified in this study is closely related with a lineage observed in Peru, belonging to genotype D. Our results corroborate the growing circulation of MAYV in urban environments in Brazil and reinforce the need to implement laboratory diagnosis in the Unified Health System, considering that the clinical manifestations of Mayaro fever are similar to those of other arboviruses, particularly dengue. Furthermore, most cases occurred in association with DENV-2. Further phylogenetic studies are needed to evaluate MAYV, which has not been widely examined

Acidente vascular cerebral e fatores de risco para quedas em idosos

Objective: to verify and compare the intrinsic and extrinsic risk factors for falls among older community-dwelling people with and without a stroke history. Methods: a case group and three control groups were established and each group had 15 elderly individuals. Results: the statistical associations were: use of antihypertensive medication among the groups with falls, despite the occurrence of a stroke; use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor for elderly with a stroke who had an event of fall or not; foot alterations between the case group and people without falls or stroke. Gait difficulty and impaired physical mobility were statistically associated between the case group and people without the occurrence of stroke or falls. Conclusion: the stroke is associated with falls and the intrinsic factors presented greater statistical correlations, supporting the hypothesis that many factors influence the occurrence of falls
