One of the efforts to decrease MMR was by conducting a program of One Student One Client (OSOC) of pregnant women accompaniment. However, the implementation of the program was not optimal. This study aimed at analysing the program of OSOC by using a system approach consisted of aspects of input, process, and output. This was a qualitative study presented using descriptive and explorative methods. Data were collected by conducting indepth interview and Focus Group Discussion towards main informants namely head of Human Resource Section of Central Java Province Health Office, head of Maternal and Child Health of Semarang City Health Office, two heads of health centres, two nurses/coordinator midwives, two heads of study programs, and two field supervisors. On the other hand, informants for triangulation purpose consisted of 14 students of nursing and seven pregnant women/post natal. Data were analysed using a method of content analysis. The results of this research showed that in terms of the input aspect, human resource was sufficient, budget was insufficient, means and methods were appropriate, a policy of a program was not written, and MoU between health office and educational institutions was not available. The process aspect that encompassed a planning demonstrated that a goal of the program was to decrease MMR and to increase studentsā€™ skills whereas pregnant women were as a target group. An activity report comprised nursing care. In terms of organising, a work group involved teams of nurses/midwives of health centres, and sharing jobs were conditional. The implementing/actuating aspects showed that human resource had worked in accordance with a guidance. The assessing/evaluating aspect demonstrated that recording and reporting were not uniform and incomplete. Regarding the output aspect, the implementation of the program had not been in accordance with a schedule, all pregnant women were accompanied by the students, pregnant women routinely did ANC, not all pregnant women attended a prenatal class, all pregnant women visited a health service for the process of their childbirths, as many as 20 students involved in each institution, and a report had been submitted. To sum up, budget was appropriate, a policy was written, MoU between health office and educational institutions was not available, a level of participation of pregnant women in a prenatal and class had not been in accordance with the target. Budget allocation needs to be increased, a policy needs to be made, MoU needs to be arranged, and a prenatal class needs to be maximised. Bad collaboration also influences the relationship between a physician and a nurse. For management, this condition can decrease BOR and increase the length of treatment due to ineffectiveness of services to patients that can affect to patientsā€™ satisfaction. This was a cross-sectional study to calculate a questionnaire of customersā€™ value using Likert scale and using a qualitative method by observing, undertaking a review of collaboration documents between a physician and a nurse. Indepth interview and unstructured interview with selected informants were conducted. Samples of this study consisted of 15 medical doctors and 15 nurses who had been working at Permata Medika Hospital until December 2016. Proportions of the respondents based on sex differences were male (83.3%), female (16.7%). Proportions of the respondents based on their ages were <25 years old (20%), 25-35 years old (43.3%), and >35 years old (36.7%). Proportions of educational levels of a physician and a nurse respectively were 50% and 50%. Proportions of working period were 1-2 years (83.3%) and >2 years (16.7%). Individual characteristics significantly played an important role to collaboration. The most important individual characteristic was age. The findings of this study demonstrated that there was any difficulty in controlling authority because the relationship between these both professions was equal and communication was not good. Regarding a scope of practice, the collaboration between them was good. These both profession did not pay attention to a fixed service procedure. The goals of these both professions were overlap with the reasons that all works needed to be accomplished soon without paying attention to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and job descriptions. Cancer pain is an unpleasant experience as a result of tissue damage due to cancer and side effects of chemotherapy. One of impacts of pain is a disturbance of activity. The obstacles encountered in the implementation of pain management include the lack of knowledge and ability of the patients to cope with pain independently. A modification of pro-self pain control is an alternative method used to improve the ability of patients to cope with pain independently so that their activity can be increased. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the pain and activity and prove that the modified pro-self pain control could decrease the pain and increase the activity in patients with colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy. The present study employed an experimental design. Patients with colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy were randomly assigned to the intervention group (n=24) and the control group (n=24). The patients in the control group were given a standard hospital intervention, while the patients in the intervention group were given the modified pro-self control pain for 9 days. The data were collected by using the instrument of Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and KATZ index and analyzed by using the Pearson correlation, paired t-test dan independent t-test. The results of correlation test showed the p-value of <0.001 and r= -0.58. The comparisson test show that in the intervention group, the mean of pain decreased from 4.71Ā±1.27 to 1.80Ā±1.12 (p <0.001), whereas in the control group, the pain decreased from 4.33Ā±1.09 to 3.33Ā±1.16 (p <0.001). The activity in the intervention group increased from 4.29Ā±1.30 to 5.17Ā±0.72 (p <0.001), while in the control group, it increased from 4.62Ā±1.06 to 4.92Ā±1.05 (p=0.05). The results of the mean difference between the two groups also found the p-value of <0.001 for the pain, and p of <0.001 for the activity. The study concluded that there was a relationship between the pain and activity. The modified pro-self pain control could decrease the pain and increase the activity in patients with colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Immobilization in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients can lower lung expansion due to an accumulation of secretions resulting in impaired oxygenation ventilation function of the lungs, thus facilitating the growth of bacteria that cause pneumonia. Switching the patient's position every 2 hours allows the lung area to re-expand and to increase the transport of oxygen which will improve oxygenation ventilation function of the lungs. Various research results concluded that a measure to prevent changes in the oxygenation ventilation function of the lungs is to maintain the airway effective. This can be done by putting the patient in a sloping or semi-prone position, heightening the head of the bed to a 30- degree angle. Level I progressive mobilization is a preferred intervention that is safe to do to maintain the lung's oxygenation ventilation function.Ā Objective: To evaluate the effect of progressive mobilization of level I on the pulmonary oxygenation ventilation function in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients.Ā Methods: Design of experimental research. Sampling was done using random allocation with the number of samples that were 52 people, using the Wilcoxon and Man Whitney test analysis.Ā The results showed that the measurement of the pulmonary oxygenation ventilation function using the peak flow meter seen in the intervention group had a significant increase in air volume, from before the intervention of 220 Ā± 78,9 to 263,65 Ā± 61.6 after 5 days of intervention, with p-value <0.001. While in the control group there was a significant decrease of air volume from 255 Ā± 58,94 to 225 Ā± 53,16 with p-value <0.001. The oxygenation ventilation function average increase in the intervention group was 43.65, higher than the increase in the control group, which decreased by -30. The Mann Whitney test result obtained p-value <0.001.Ā In conclusion. there was a significant difference in the pulmonary oxygenation ventilation functions in the intervention and control groups after the level I progressive mobilization in non- hemorrhagic stroke patients at Dr.Adhyatma Semarang Hospital, which means that there was an impact of the level I mobilization on the lung oxygenation ventilation function on non-hemorrhagic stroke patients in Dr. Adhyatma Semarang Hospital.Ā
