Ketahanan pangan rumah tangga, status gizi, dan prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar
Background: Poverty and lack of income will cause inability of the family to provide enough and nutritious food for all the family members. Fulfillment of nutritious food will bring direct impact to nutrition status of children. Malnutrition will affect brain development and intelligence that in the long run disrupts academic achievement.Objective: To identify association between food security of the household and nutrition status with academic achievement of elementary school students at Yogyakarta Municipality.Method: The study was observational with cross sectional design. Samples were students of grade V of elementary school at Subdistrict of Gedongtengen, Yogyakarta Municipality. Data of food security of the house were obtained through interview based on questionnaire of Radimer/Cornell, nutritional status data used height for age collected by measurement, and academic achievement through secondary data, i.e. original score of final semester examination. Statistical analysis was performed by using Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact test.Results: As much as 67.6% of the household were food insecure and 13.3% of students were stunted. Food security of the household was significantly associated with nutrition status (p=0.033) and achievement in mathematics (p=0.045). There was association between nutrition status and achievement in mathematics (p=0.035); Indonesia language (p=0.000); and combined achievement in Mathematics, Indonesia language and science (p=0.004).Conclusion: There was association between food security of the household and nutritional status with academic achievement of student. There was association between food security of the household and nutrition status.
KEPEMIMPINAN MASA DEPAN (FUTURE LEADERSHIP) DALAM PERSPEKTIF AGAMA, FILOSOFI, PSIKOLOGI DAN SOSIOLOGI; IMPLEMENTASINYA DALAM LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN
Change is a necessity. We must accept these changes with open arms. There is no other choice but to respond to the challenge of change by preparing various components to welcome it. Various resources must be prepared, especially in terms of human resources. We must prepare competent leadership who has a vision of the future that can answer these challenges. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology with a Library Research approach. The millennium has brought us many challenges and many opportunities for leadership. Leadership is no longer fixated on electing a few who are given power and authority. Each must be engaged to make full use of the knowledge and information that forms the basis of working life in the world of advanced technology in this century. Self-leadership is the key to enhancing learning which is necessary to enable us to face the challenges of a knowledge-based and information- rich age. Superleadership provides a tool for leaders to be able to create self-leadership in others. Religion plays a very important role in leadership. Anyone who enforces leadership, if it is done from a religious perspective, is actually continuing the prophetic mission (nubuwwah) and this applies throughout time. Becoming an effective leader requires a fairly complex process. Many factors influence the birth of future leaders. From a religious, philosophical, psychological and sociological perspective we will be able to see the importance of education in an effort to produce future leaders.Perubahan adalah sebuah keniscayaan. Kita harus menerima perubahan dengan tangan terbuka. Tidak ada pilihan lain kecuali menjawab tantangan perubahan tersebut dengan menyiapkan berbagai komponen untuk menyambutnya. Berbagai sumber daya harus disiapkan terutama dalam tatanan sumber daya manusia. Kita harus menyiapkan kepemimpinan yang berkompeten yang memiliki visi masa depan yang bisa menjawab tantangan tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif desktiptif dengan pendekatan Library Research.Abad milenium telah membawa banyak tantangan bagi kita dan banyak kesempatan bagi leadership.
Kepemimpinan tidak lagi terpaku pada memilih beberapa yang diberi kekausaan dan otoritas. Masing-masing harus terlibat untuk memanfaatkan secara penuh pengetahuan dan informasi yang membentuk dasar kehidupan bekerja dalam dunia teknologi canggih di abad ini. Selfleadership menjadi kunci untuk enhance pembelajaran yang perlu untuk membuat kita mampu menghadapi tantangan dari zaman yang berbasis pengetahuan dan kaya akan informasi. Superleadership menyediakan alat bagi para pemimpin agar mampu menciptakan self-leadership pada orang lain.Agama memegang peranan yang begitu penting dalam kepemimpinan. Siapapun yang menegakkan kepemimpinan, jika dilakukan dalam perspektif agama sejatinya adalah meneruskan missi kenabian (nubuwwah) dan ini berlaku sepanjang masa. Menjadi pemimpin yang efektif membutuhkan proses yang cukup kompleks. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi lahirnya pemimpin masa depan. Dari perspektif agama, filosofis., psikologis dan sosiologis kita akan dapat melihat arti penting pendidikan dalam upaya melahirkan pemimpin masa depan

Artikel ini membahas pendekatan studi tafsir kontemporer yang bercorak kritis dan transformatif. Kritisisme pendekatan tafsir kontemporer menempatkan produk penafsiran klasik bukan sebagai kebenaran mutlak, tetapi sebagai produk zaman yang perlu dikaji ulang. Pendekatan tafsir kontemporer menekankan transformasi makna untuk kepentingan transformasi umat dan memecahkan problem yang muncul berkembang dalam masyarakat muslim. Ada dua pertanyaan utama dalam artikel ini: Pertama, bagaimana metode pendekatan studi tafsir kontemporer. Kedua, bagaimana varian pendekatan tafisr kontemporer. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh melalui telaah kepustakaan, yakni sumber primer berupa buku-buku dan artikel yang terkait dengan studi tafsir kontemporer. Artikel ini menemukan; Pertama, pendekatan tafsir kontemporer menggunakan metodologi kontemporer multidisip di bidang sosial-humaniora.
