Upaya Pembinaan Perawat Di Rumah Sakit Ngesti Waluyo Parakan Temanggung Jawa Tengah
This study aims to provide an overview of the planning process, implementation, and evaluation of coaching the professional attitudes of nurses in nursing service and identifying factors that influence the (un)professional attitude. This study used qualitative approach with a case study design. Subjects were 7 managers, 12 nurses and 8 patients who were recruited purposively. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction. In this hospital, guidance and development of attitudes did not exist but only in form of problems solving or reprimanding nurses only when they committed unprofessional attitudes. There was no standard or procedures for ethical guideline in this hospital. Coaching is generally done only in the form of oral face to face reprimanding. In evaluatif the coaching there was no standard or indicators such as complaints reduction from patients, increased performance, and better work, not repeating the same mistakes, and able to communicate and cooperate well. The identified factors which affected The construction of unprofessional behavior of nurses were the burden of nurses, Works environment, the internal motivation of nursing staff, the readiness of managers to nurture, and support from hospital management, and the welfare of the employees
Pengaruh Penyuluhan Identifikasi Pasien dengan Menggunakan Media Audiovisual terhadap Pengetahuan Pasien Rawat Inap
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of audiovisual media application of patient identification implementation on patient knowledge at the University of North Sumatra Hospital in 2019. The study used a quantitative approach, with quasi-experimental methods, one group pre-test-post-test design. The results showed that before counseling, 40 patients included in the category of sufficient knowledge, and 80 people in the category of insufficient knowledge. After counseling using audiovisual media, data obtained that, as many as 12 patients included in the category of good knowledge, 68 people in the category of sufficient knowledge, and 40 people in the category of lack of knowledge. These results indicate that there was an increase in the number of patients in the knowledge category. Conclusion, there is an influence of counseling given by the use of audiovisual media to increase the number of patients in the knowledge category.

Pengaruh Stimulasi Kognitif terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan tentang Penyakit Tuberkulosis Paru Pasien Rawat Inap di Rumah Sakit Paru Jember (The Effect of Cognitive Stimulation on the Level of Knowledge about the Pulmonary Tuberculosis in-patient at Jember
Cognitive stimulation is one of the options that influence the level of knowledge. The intention is to provide information in order to improve the knowledge and thus, leads to the changes on behavior. This research examines the effect of cognitive stimulation on the level of knowledge of the pulmonary tuberculosis in-patient. This research employs one group pretest-posttest design through the help of purposive sampling collection technique. The number of sample involved in this research is 18 individuals. The data analysis is performed using the Spearman’s correlation test. The result of the analysis generated the r value of 0.559 which means strongly and positively correlated. The bivariate testing results in the p value of (0.016)<α(0.05), meaning that the effect of the cognitive stimulation on the patient’s level of knowledge exists. It is suggested that the health care services optimizes the counseling sessions conducted to patients and their families by employing the cognitive stimulation aimed at improving the patient’s level of knowledge as well as their compliance in taking their medication to help recover from the pulmonary tuberculosis, respectively.  Keywords: Cognitive Stimulation, Knowledge, Pulmonary Tuberculosi
Persepsi Perawat tentang Supervisi Klinis Pelaksanaan Edukasi Pasien dan Keluarga
The purpose of this study was to explore nurses' perceptions about clinical supervision in the implementation of patient and family education in Universitas Sumatera Utara. This type of research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological design. The results of this study brought out five main themes, namely (1) the purpose of supervision in the implementation of patient and family education, (2) methods of carrying out supervision, (3) the barriers that had been facing during the implementation supervision, (4) the future expectations related to the implementation of supervision and (5) the benefits of supervision implementation. Conclusions, nurses' perceptions about clinical supervision in the implementation patient and family education are important to do, even though the implementation still not optimum.

Persepsi Kepala Ruangan tentang Hasil Recruitment Perawat Berbasis Kompetensi
This study explores the perceptions of the head of the room about the recruitment results of competency-based nurses at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological design. The results of this study obtained six main themes, namely: 1) the purpose of recruitment, 2) improvements made in recruitment, 3) obstacles to recruitment implementation, 4) benefits of recruitment, 5) supporting factors for the performance of recruitment, 6) expectations of recruitment results. In conclusion, the head of the room's perception of competency-based nurse recruitment results can help the recruitment team, who is also a part of hospital management, obtain professional and competent nurses according to service needs.

Pengalaman Mekanisme Koping Perawat Pelaksana IGD yang Mengalami Stres Kerja
This study aims to explore the experiences of nurses and identify coping strategies used to overcome the problems they face. The research design used is descriptive phenomenology. The results of the study were 5 themes, the researchers identified five, namely: 1) Sources of work stress for nurses in the emergency unit, 2) doing other activities for various work themes, 3) Coping with stress by improving self-ability, 4) performing various constructive coping techniques, and 5) Make routine work stress handling activities for nurses. In conclusion, the average nurse uses problem-focused coping strategies and to deal with work stress.

PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS ANGGOTA MASYARAKAT YANG MENGALAMI KOMORBIDITAS DIABETES MELITUS UNTUK PENCEGAHAN PENULARAN COVID-19
Orang-orang dengan kondisi medis yang sudah ada sebelumnya seperti diabetes tampaknya lebih rentan untuk menjadi sakit parah dengan virus Covid-19. Agar penderita diabetes ini dapat terhindar dari penularan Covid-19, maka diperlukan suatu upaya peningkatan kapasitas mereka agar dapat mengetahui cara pencegahan penularan Covid-19 dan melaksanakan upaya pencegahan tersebut. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penderita DM untuk mencegah terjadinya penularan Covid-19 di desa Mekar Sari, Kecamatan Deli Tua, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Peserta yang menjadi partisipan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari anggota masyarakat yang mengalami DM sebanyak 15 orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan melakukan pre-test tentang pengetahuan awal peserta tentang penyakit dan cara pencegahannya. Setelah itu, diberikan penyuluhan secara langsung dengan menggunakan media leaflet. Selain leaflet, hand sanitizer dan suplemen vitamin C dan D diberikan juga kepada setiap peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada saat penyuluhan. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan contoh yang nyata, pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari rerata skor pengetahuan 5,47 menjadi 9,80. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan penularan Covid-19 meningkat secara signifikan. Hal ini terlihat dari uji statistika Wilcoxon antara nilai post-test dan post-test didapat nilai p=0,001. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari berharap agar setelah kegiatan ini selesai, anggota masyarakat yang mengalami penyakit diabetes melitus dapat dan secara konsisten menerapkan hal-hal yang telah mereka pahami pada saat penyuluhan kesehatan, sehingga dapat terhindar dari penularan penyakit Covid-19
Penerapan Protokol Recruitment Perawat Berbasis Kompetensi Di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan
Protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi merupakan suatu pedoman dalam pelaksanaan recruitment perawat yang terdiri dari regulasi, pedoman, standar prosedur operasional (SPO). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan. Partisipan penelitian 16 orang. Metode penelitian: action research. Data kuantitatif yaitu tingkat pengetahuan partisipan diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif diperoleh hasil adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan recruitment dengan menggunakan protokol recruitment berbasis kompetensi dari 80% menjadi 100%. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil FGD, analisa dengan content analysis.  Dampak Penerapan Protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan adalah perekrutan yang dilaksanakan lebih sistematis sesuai alur/prosedur yang telah ditetapkan; jumlah pelamar lebih banyak hasil dari perekrutan lebih bermutu.Implementation of Competency-Based Nurse Recruitment Protocol at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Medan Competency-based recruitment protocols at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan is a guideline in the implementation of nurse recruitment which consists of regulations, guidelines, standard operating procedur (SPO). This study aims to determine the effect of the application of competency-based recruitment protocol at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan. Study participants were 16 people. Research methods: action research. Quantitative data that is the level of participant knowledge obtained through the distribution of questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics obtained the results of an icrease in knowledge before and after implementation of recruitment using competency based recruitment protocols from 80% to 100%. Qualitative data were obtained from FGD result, analysis with content analysis. The impact of the implementation of competency-based nurse recruitment protocols at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan is the recruitment that is carried out more systematically according to the established procedures; the number of applicants more results from better quality recruitment
PERAN MANAJER DALAM PEMBINAAN ETIKA PERAWAT PELAKSANA DALAM PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN
Construction constitutes an effort to fix and increases science, skill, attitude or personality characters. In do manner construction a hall head shall can do approaching and understands nurse characteristic that will at build, so gets to apply construction method suitably so effort that doing to result optimal result. Besides executor nurse in each construction process phase of planning, performing and evaluation constitutes an important thing to be noticed collaboration interlaces that since early, so construction process walks smoothly. This research utilize qualitative approaching that aims to give construction picture of hall head to executor nurse manner that becomes to take on answer him in service to care, on a more special figures to process construction of planning, performing and its evaluation. Collecting data is done through visceral interview( indepth interview ). This observational respondent consisting of four hall head of nurse room lodge hospital that is at Jember city, and three executor nurse of each hall that carry the wind its hall become respondent in observational it so its amount available 12 person. Result observational to point out that planning constitutes a necessary for thing hall head before performs construction. Better hall head sits with talk about nurse manner construction that effective, mutually commutes experience or concept even in build. In each phase of advisable construction process with nurse that is built of since first few so most composes collaboration and positive commitment. Pengaruh Komunikasi Terapeutik yang dilakukan oleh perawat terhadap tingkat kecemasan pasien yang mengalami Hospitalisasi di RSU se-Kabupaten Jember
Anxiety is a condition where individual or group has anxious feeling (estimate/opinion) and the act of nervous system to respond a vague threat,non-spesific.This research uses Pre-Experiment design with a frame of Pre-Post Test design without control,purpose to identify the influence of therapheutic communication toward the decrease of patient’s anxiety level for Pre-Operation patients cured in Surgery Room RSU in Jember Regency using Consecutive Sampling technigue. The intervention process uses introduction of analytical therapheutic communikative intraction process. A result of the process applies on regres test on which t calculation is much bigger than t table, that is 4,479 > 2,093. In conclusion, every Pre-operation patient has anxiety, and therapheutic communication give meaningful and significant influence to decrease Pre-operation of patient’s anxiety level. As remmendation, in this research, the therapheutic communication done well will be able to decrease patien’s anxiety level so it must be applied in nursing service especially Pre-operation.
