The authors’ methodology of the development of the physical qualities of cadets during kettlebell lifting activities is substantiated in the article and its efficiency is checked. 86 cadets participated in the research. The experimental (EG, n=29) and control (CG, n=57) groups were formed. The research was conducted according to the following tests: 100 m race, 3 km race, forward inclination of the body, holding the body in a horizontal position, pull-up bar exercise, hipswing-up, push-up on parallel bars, complex power exercise. At the end of the study, a significantly better level of the physical qualities’ development of cadets engaged in kettlebell lifting activities according to the authors’ methodology was established by the majority of tests

The article studies the influence of modern fitness technologies on the level of development of the physical qualities of students of both sexes. 232 students (88 men and 144 women) participated in the research. GC students participated in the traditional physical education system, and GE students in the experimental methodical system, based on modern types of fitness technologies. The physical fitness tests of the students were carried out in accordance with exercises that characterize the development of physical qualities

The work was focused on exploring the motives for choosing a teaching profession and the development level of motivation for continuing professional growth in the process of studying at a higher educational institution; the analysis of the levels of readiness of the students of the Faculty of Physical Education for continuing studying; the diagnostics of the dependence of the level of motor readiness of students, who are future physical culture teachers, on the level of their motivation and readiness for continuous professional development. Experimental studies were conducted at the Physical Education Faculty of the Taras Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv College». The study was conducted in 2016-2017 (during the 1st year of study) and in 2019-2020 (during the 4th year of study). The experimental group consisted of 67 students between the ages of 17 and 22. The studies showed the dependence of the level of motor readiness of students on the level of their motivation and readiness for continuous professional development. The indicators of motor activity of the fourth-year students with high levels of motivation and readiness for continuous professional development were increased concerning the amount of the motor activity that is characteristic of the professional activity of a physical culture teacher. The indicators obtained during the study indicate that students, who are aware of the need for professional development master the content of the curriculum better during the period of study and, as future physical culture teachers, better understand the purpose and objectives of education of pupils

The exclusive deep inelastic electroproduction of ψ(2S)\psi(2S) and J/ψ(1S)J/\psi(1S) at an epep centre-of-mass energy of 317 GeV has been studied with the ZEUS detector at HERA in the kinematic range 2<Q2<802 < Q^2 < 80 GeV2^2, 30<W<21030 < W < 210 GeV and t<1|t| < 1 GeV2^2, where Q2Q^2 is the photon virtuality, WW is the photon-proton centre-of-mass energy and tt is the squared four-momentum transfer at the proton vertex. The data for 2<Q2<52 < Q^2 < 5 GeV2^2 were taken in the HERA I running period and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 114 pb1^{-1}. The data for 5<Q2<805 < Q^2 < 80 GeV2^2 are from both HERA I and HERA II periods and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 468 pb1^{-1}. The decay modes analysed were μ+μ\mu^+\mu^- and J/ψ(1S)π+πJ/\psi(1S) \,\pi^+\pi^- for the ψ(2S)\psi(2S) and μ+μ\mu^+\mu^- for the J/ψ(1S)J/\psi(1S). The cross-section ratio σψ(2S)/σJ/ψ(1S)\sigma_{\psi(2S)}/\sigma_{J/\psi(1S)} has been measured as a function of Q2,WQ^2, W and tt. The results are compared to predictions of QCD-inspired models of exclusive vector-meson production.Comment: 24 pages, 8 figure

Combined QCD and electroweak analysis of HERA data

A simultaneous fit of parton distribution functions (PDFs) and electroweak parameters to HERA data on deep inelastic scattering is presented. The input data are the neutral current and charged current inclusive cross sections which were previously used in the QCD analysis leading to the HERAPDF2.0 PDFs. In addition, the polarisation of the electron beam was taken into account for the ZEUS data recorded between 2004 and 2007. Results on the vector and axial-vector couplings of the Z boson to u- and d-type quarks, on the value of the electroweak mixing angle and the mass of the W boson are presented. The values obtained for the electroweak parameters are in agreement with Standard Model predictions.Comment: 32 pages, 10 figures, accepted by Phys. Rev. D.
