    Analysis of Factors Affecting on Risk Management of Wheat Production Among Wheat Farmers (Razavieh Region, Khorasan-E-Razavi Province, Iran)

    The main purpose of this study was to analyze the Factors Affecting on risk management in wheat production among farmers of Razavieh region (Khorasan-E-Razavi province, Iran). Statistical population of the study was 1520 farmers that they had water cultivation. By using of stratified proportional random sampling 156 respondents were selected from 8 villages. For the calculation of the risk-aversion coefficient degree among farmers, the Safety First Rule model was used. The findings revealed that the dominant respondents (65%) were risk-averse. The results of exploratory factorial analysis showed that five factors determined about 74.267 % from total variance for wheat farmers' risk management that consist of: economy & marketing management factor, planting management factor, harvest management factor, infrastructure management of farming and risk-sharing management factor.     Marine debris composition in Batu Pahat, Johor: a comparison between Sungai Lurus and Minyak Beku beaches

    The increment of population growth and rapid economic development near the beaches area enhance the generation of marine debris annually thus has become an environmental concern. In BatuPahat, Johor, determination ofmarine debris compositions on the beach provide a preliminary caution on the level of contamination and also enable to identify the most abundant waste. For this study, a comparison between two beaches namely Sungai Lurus and Minyak Beku in Batu Pahat district and located in the same coastline, were carried out. The composition, density and moisture content of the marine debris collected were determined The results demonstrated that plastic waste was the most abundant item at 80% of the total amount of debris and represents 54% by weight of marine debris composition in Sungai Lurus beach. Meanwhile, glass waste predominates at 60% with 39% by weight of marine debris composition at MinyakBeku beach. The moisture content of debris composition at Minyak Beku beach represents up to 12.61% compared to 8.68% at Sungai Lurus beach. High density of debris composition was obtained at Minyak Beku beach with 94.56kg/m followed by 66.15kg/m3 at Sungai Lurus beach. As a conclusion, the economic activities and solid waste management along the beaches highly influence the amount of marine debris composition at Sungai Lurus and Minyak Beku beaches. Due to the number of marine debris that is still littered along the beaches has indicated that environmental concerns among Malaysian are still low

    Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Flashcard Terhadap Kemampuan Bahasa Anak Kelompok B Di RA Nurul Hidayah Dusun III Suka Damai Kab. Langkat T.A 2020/2021

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B menggunakan media flashcard. 2) Kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B menggunakan lembar kerja siswa. 3) Pengaruh yang signifikan media flashcard terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B di RA Nurul Hidayah Dusun III Suka Damai Kab. Langkat T.A 2020/2021. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RA Nurul Hidayah Dusun III Suka Damai Kab. Langkat T.A 2020/2021 pada tanggal 20-25 Juli 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental Desain dengan tipe non equivalent control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini bejumlah 30 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembaran observasi, dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis (menggunakan uji t). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan media flashcard terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B di RA Nurul Hidayah Dusun III Suka Damai. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil rata-rata kemampuan bahasa anak sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan yaitu 29,2 menjadi 59,53. Sehingga kemampuan bahasa anak di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi atau lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol yang memperoleh rata-rata 42,8. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut hipotesis menyatakan bahwa media flashcard berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak yaitu hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 9,142 > 2,048 pada taraf α = 0,05. Dengan demikian hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa Terdapat Pengaruh Yang Signifikan Penggunaan Media Flashcard Terhadap Kemampuan Bahasa Anak Kelompok B di RA Nurul Hidayah Dusun III Desa Suka Damai Kab.     Characterization of an atmospheric pressure plasma jet and its application for treatment of non-woven textiles

    Atmospheric pressure plasma jets are well-known in the plasma chemistry community because of their novel applications. However, in spite of a large amount of publications, the physical chemistry of plasma jet/surface interactions is still unknown. In this work, an atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) in pure argon will be used to modify the surface of PET non-woven textiles. In a first part of the paper, the plasma jet will be characterized using current-voltage waveforms, time resolved ICCD images and optical emission spectroscopy. Afterwards, the influence of water vapor addition on these plasma characteristics will be briefly mentioned. In a second part of this work, one layer and several textile layers will be modified using the APPJ in pure argon. These surface modification results clearly show that the APPJ in argon can effectively enhance the hydrophilicity of several textile layers and can thus modify the inner surface of porous materials
