THE SÃO PAULO READ AND WRITE PROGRAM AND TEACHING WORK: BETWEEN GUIDELINES AND STANDARDIZATIONS

Este artigo teve como por objetivo geral identificar a concepção de docente presente no Programa Ler e Escrever, expondo algumas implicações dessa política para o trabalho do professor. A partir de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, verificou-se que as orientações e prescrições dadas aos docentes nos escritos dos documentos encaminham para a padronização do trabalho do professor, restringindo-o a instruções, dicas, sugestões, orientações. Seu trabalho é subestimado e sua função é reduzida à colaborador do material, tornando o Programa o centro do processo educacional, e o professor, coadjuvante.The purpose of this article was to identify the teachers conception in the Read and Write Program, exposing some implications for teaching work. From a bibliographical and documentary research, it was verified that the guidelines and prescriptions given to the teachers in the documents lead to the standardization of the teacher's work, restricting it to instructions, tips, suggestions, guidelines. His work is underestimated and his function is reduced to material developer, made the Program the center of the educational process, and the teacher, supporting.Este artículo tuvo como objetivo general identificar la concepción de docente presente en el Programa Leer y Escribir, exponiendo algunas implicaciones de esa política para el trabajo docente. Programa Ler e Escrever: a avaliação dos professores da rede estadual de São Carlos-SP sobre suas implicações para a prática docente

Este artigo visou compreender a avaliação docente sobre o Programa Ler e Escrever e suas implicações para seu trabalho, propondo o problema: qual é a avaliação do docente sobre o Programa “Ler e escrever” em seu trabalho? Utilizou-se os preceitos elaborados por Kuenzer (1998), elaborando categorias de análise de conteúdo; nesse contexto, houve a devolutiva de vinte e quatro professores participantes. Os docentes reconhecem os materiais do Programa Ler e Escrever como uma ferramenta relevante para atuar nas escolas estaduais; não obstante, entendem que eles propõem atividades ineficientes para a alfabetização e apresentam sequências descontextualizadas com as suas realidades. Os professores interpretaram que cada realidade possui diversas necessidades que vão além do modelo de trabalho pedagógico prescrito no programa

Proteomic analysis of the ventral disc of Giardia lamblia

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p><it>Giardia lamblia </it>is a multiflagellated protozoan that inhabits the small intestine of vertebrates, causing giardiasis. To colonize the small intestine, the trophozoites form of the parasite remains attached to intestinal epithelial cells by means of cytoskeletal elements that form a structure known as the ventral disc. Previous studies have shown that the ventral disc is made of tubulin and giardins.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>To obtain further information on the composition of the ventral disc, we developed a new protocol and evaluated the purity of the isolation by transmission electron microscopy. Using 1D- and 2D-PAGE and mass spectrometry, we identified proteins with functions associated with the disc. In addition to finding tubulin and giardin, proteins known to be associated with the ventral disc, we also identified proteins annotated in the <it>Giardia </it>genome, but whose function was previously unknown.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>The isolation of the ventral disc shown in this work, compared to previously published protocols, proved to be more efficient. Proteomic analysis showed the presence of several proteins whose further characterization may help in the elucidation of the mechanisms involved in the attachment of the protozoan to epithelial cells.</p

Drogas e os desafios do atendimento dos jovens adolescentes no contexto da EJA

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (especialização)—Universidade de Brasília, Universidade Aberta do Brasil, Faculdade de Educação, III Curso da Especialização em Educação na Diversidade e Cidadania com Ênfase em EJA, 2015.A partir da análise da trajetória de vida e da escolarização dos nossos alunos jovens na EJA, é possível se construir antes que ele retorne dos bancos escolares, com inúmeras barreiras. Observando a realidade dos nossos adolescentes, onde os mesmos estão desmotivados, com autoestima baixa e com muita indisciplina. Certamente será necessário muito empenho e determinação da escola e profissionais da educação, para que as mudanças possam ocorrer, é visível que a sociedade passa por uma grande mudança e que a escola com seus valores nessas últimas décadas o relativismo moral pode variar de tempos em tempos ou subgrupos culturais, mas valores e suas atitudes de humildade e que conduzirá do fortalecimento de cada área de sua vida, à medida que se reconhece a necessidade de mudanças e restruturação de seus valores. A educação de Jovens e Adultos muitas apresenta variações ao longo dos anos, com algumas transformações sociais econômicas e políticas e com muitos avanços tecnológicos, desta forma atuar com jovens requer um novo olhar na restruturação educacional nessa modalidade da educação que os conhecimentos prévios são essenciais para que o professor e aluno se comuniquem, e estes se sintam valorizados.From the life trajectory analysis and education of our young students in adult education, it is possible to build before he returns from school children, with numerous barriers. The Youth and Adult education many presents variations over the years, with some economic social and political changes and with many technological advances in this way work with young people requires a fresh look at the educational restructuring in this type of education that prior knowledge is essential to the teacher and student to communicate, and they feel valued

Racial disparity and prognosis in patients with mouth and oropharynx cancer in Brazil

Oral and oropharyngeal cancer (OPC) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Populations in situations of social vulnerability tend to have higher incidences of cancer, a higher proportion of late diagnosis, greater difficulties in accessing health services, and, consequently, worse prognosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between race/skin color and OPC prognosis in Brazil. This is a cross-sectional epidemiological study using OPC data from the National Cancer Institute between the years 2000 and 2019. The selected variables were: gender, race/skin color, age, education, smoking and alcohol consumption, stage of the disease and disease status at the end of the 1st treatment. 154,214 cases were recorded. Black men, in the 6th decade of life, were the most affected population. Blacks had a lower level of education when compared to non-blacks (p<0.001). Blacks were more exposed to smoking and alcohol consumption (p<0.001). At the time of diagnosis, the black population was at the most advanced stage when compared to non-blacks (p<0.001). At the end of the 1st treatment, more black patients had disease in progression, as well as more black patients died (p<0.001). Blacks had a worse prognosis for OPC in Brazil. Despite the limitations, these results are important to elucidate the scenario of health disparities in relation to the race/skin color of the Brazilian population

Explanatory factors of the sustainability level of the accredited brazilian hospital institutions

O objetivo deste estudo consistiu em analisar os fatores explicativos do nível de sustentabilidade das instituições hospitalares brasileiras acreditadas, com base no conceito do Triple Botton Line (TBL). Desta forma, esta pesquisa caracteriza-se como descritiva, documental e quantitativa. A amostra foi composta por 30 hospitais brasileiros acreditados nacionalmente e internacionalmente. Por meio de três checklists, com base nos indicadores do ISE e análise dos relatórios de sustentabilidade e de atividade, os resultados apontaram que 56,7% dos hospitais acreditados são sustentáveis economicamente, a maioria não são efetivamente sustentáveis na dimensão social e 66,7% são sustentáveis na dimensão ambiental. Conclui-se que os hospitais acreditados investigados não são sustentáveis nas três dimensões do TBL e, ainda, que o porte e o tempo de constituição da empresa são fatores que auxiliam na compreensão do nível de sustentabilidade das entidades analisadas.The objective of this study was to analyze the explanatory factors of the sustainability level of accredited Brazilian hospital institutions, based on the Triple Botton Line (TBL) concept. In this way, this research is characterized as descriptive, documentary and quantitative. The sample consisted of 30 Brazilian hospitals accredited nationally and internationally. The results indicated that 56.7% of the accredited hospitals are economically sustainable, most of which are not effectively sustainable in the social dimension and 66.7% are sustainable in the environmental dimension. It is concluded that the accredited hospitals investigated are not sustainable in the three dimensions of TBL, and also that the size and time of incorporation of the company are factors that help in understanding the level of sustainability of the entities analyzed
