Innovation Adoption of New E-Scooters Service in Finland :O n Consumer Perspective

ABSTRACT The aim of the research was to understand the innovation adoption of new e-scooters service in Finland on consumer perspective. The changing world, the air pollution and the greenhouse gas emissions from the fossil fuel have led to the innovation of less polluting and more energy efficient sources of transportation. For this study, survey questionnaire was designed and distributed among the respondents. Different questions were asked from the respondents related to scooter purchase behavior, convenience, ease and whether they find it expensive or not. The findings revealed that people do not need any manual guide to use scooter, they think it will reduce environmental pollution, it is a new concept but is expensive to afford and they would want to have a tests drive before purchasing it. From the major analysis, it has been figured out that the youth are the most abundant user of this technology. The reason as indicated in the analysis is the living style and preference of the consumers. However, the findings also reflect a critical fact that almost 85 percent of the respondents prefer walking as the major mode of traveling. And only a 22.5 percent of the respondent indicated a positive attitude towards scooter as their favorite mode to travel. It is recommended that manufacturers and distributors need to create compatible and affordable new and innovative technologies and also, the company or dealer should interact or communicate information to the consumer or bring an innovative change in minds of consumers

Nonlinear Response of SemiSWATH Ship,Bow-diving, and Fin Stabilizer Effect in Following Seas

In this research, the response of a Semi-SWATH\ud (Small Waterplane Area) ship in following sea condition with\ud fins stabilizer was investigated. In the waves, a ship move\ud with periodic dynamic surge motion caused by the external sea\ud wave force and moment. In addition, in following seas with\ud high steep waves, the ship can surf, high pitch, bow-dive, and\ud lead the ship in the non-linear response. A numerical\ud simulation program in 3DOF (surge, heave and pitch) with\ud time varying model equation was developed to study the ship\ud responses. This study focuses on the effect of variation of\ud wave parameter to the ship response and the effects of fins\ud stabilizer; fixed and active. The numerical simulations were\ud validated with model tests in towing tank. Simulations results\ud showed that the dynamic ship response was stabilized\ud effectively and reduced pitch angle by active fins stabilizer\ud action

Pengaruh Ekspansi Gross Tonage (GT) Pada KL. BP2IP Barombong dalam Analisa Beban Kelistrikan

Perencanaan dan analisis sistem kelistrikan perlu dilakukan secara berkala untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi dari sistem yang sedang berjalan. Ketika perubahan konstruksi ataupun volume dari kapal itu bertambah maka analisa beban kelistrikan perlu diperhatikan pula, utamnya pada saat variasi beban dilakukan. Kapal Latih BP2IP Barombong atau biasa disebut KL BP2IP Barombong merupakan kapal yang digunakan para taruna BP2IP Barombong untuk berlatih. Kapal Latih BP2IP Barombong atau biasa disebut KL BP2IP Barombong merupakan kapal yang digunakan para taruna BP2IP Barombong untuk berlatih. Volume Kapal Latih Barombong diperbesar dari ukuran 418GT menjadi ≥ 500 GT. Tujuan dari penelitian ini merencanakan nilai kebutuhan daya generator KL BP2IP setelah ekspansi GT, dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan electrical balance berdasarkan load factor pada tiap existing peralatan di atas kapal. Kemudian menganalisa beban generator menggunakan softswere ETAP (Electric Transient and Analysis Program). Berdasarkan hasil simulsi ETAP maka kebutuhan daya generator setelah ekspansi GT adalah: Kondisi Berlayar 96,6 kW, Manuver 74,29 kW, Bersandar 42,55 kW, dan Emergency 8,76 kW. Sehingga daya generator yang dipilih yaitu 2 generator masing-msing dengan spesifikasi 50 kW. Hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa: Bertambahnya panjang pipa pada sistem perpipaan akan mengakibatkan kenaikan kebutuhan daya pompa yang diakibatkan oleh kenaikan nilai kehilangan longitudinal pada pipa lurus oleh gesekan sepanjang pipa dalam menentukan H (head pompa) serta komponen pengkondisian udara merupakan item yang paling banyak membutuhkan daya listrik dalam operasinya. Adanya daya reaktif (kVAr) sangatlah mempengaruhi daya aktif (kW) yang bekerja pada suatu peralatan, semakin besar daya reaktif suatu peralatan maka semakin besar pula daya generator yang dibutuhkan untuk mengoperasikan peralatan tersebut

SOSIALISASI REGULASI SISTEM NAVIGASI DAN MONITORING PERMESINAN KAPAL PENGRAJIN KAPAL KAYU PINISI DI TANABERU KABUPATEN BULUKUMBA

Pinisi wooden ships were originally used to transport goods between islands. With the development of sea tourism, the design of the Pinisi has gradually changed into a modern tourist ship. The ships are built at the shipyard in Bulukumba. Some shipowners have upgraded the navigational equipment and installed the digitally controlled machinery at shipyards in Java. The use of these devices is regulated by the Ministry of Transport, which the owners and the craftsmen have to understand. Efforts to increase the knowledge of craftsmen and ship owners about digital-based navigation and monitoring equipment are being carried out through outreach activities with materials, including government regulations and electronic digital devices. Props were made to help explain the material. At the end of the activity, evaluation was carried out by comparing the answers to the questions asked at the beginning and the end of the training. The evaluation results showed that most of the participants understood the applicable regulations and the digital technology taught. Achievement of the activity: 68% of participants understood the material presented.  --- Kapal kayu Pinisi pada awalnya digunakan untuk mengangkut barang antar pulau. Dengan berkembangnya wisata laut, desain Pinisi berangsur-angsur berubah menjadi kapal wisata modern. Kapal-kapal ini dibangun di Bulukumba. Beberapa pemilik kapal telah meng-upgrade peralatan navigasi dan memasang mesin yang dikontrol secara digital di galangan kapal di Jawa. Penggunaan perangkat ini diatur oleh kementerian Perhubungan yang harus dipahami oleh pemilik dan nahkoda kapal. Upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para perajin dan pemilik kapal tentang peralatan navigasi dan pemantauan berbasis digital dilakukan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dengan materi yang mencakup peraturan pemerintah dan perangkat digital elektronik. Alat peraga dibuat untuk membantu menjelaskan materi tersebut. Pada akhir kegiatan, dilakukan evaluasi dengan membandingkan jawaban dari pertanyaan yang diajukan di awal dan di akhir kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta memahami peraturan yang berlaku dan teknologi digital

Pyrolysis, kinetics analysis, thermodynamics parameters and reaction mechanism of Typha latifolia to evaluate its bioenergy potential

Kinetics, thermodynamics parameters and pyrolysis reaction mechanism were studied using thermogravimetric data. Based on activation energies and conversion points, two regions of pyrolysis were established. Region-I occurred between the conversion rate 0.1 to 0.4 with peak temperatures 538K, 555K, 556K at the heating rates of 10 Kmin-1, 30 Kmin-1, and 50 Kmin-1, respectively. Similarly, the Region-II occurred between 0.4 to 0.8 with peak temperatures of 606K, 621K, 623K at same heating rates. The best model was diffusion mechanism in Region-I. In Region-II, the reaction order was shown to be 2nd and 3rd. The values of activation energy calculated using FWO and KAS methods (134-204 kJ mol-1) remained same in both regions reflecting that the best reaction mechanism was predicted. Kinetics and thermodynamic parameters including E, ΔH, ΔS, ΔG shown that T. latifolia biomass is a remarkable feedstock for bioenergy.Higher Education Commission Pakista

Our this research work is based on the E-banking technology in which customers can access more accurate, quicker and rapid banking services from the computerized banking system. This system has also been adopted by the international banks as well as by the local banks in Pakistan to give efficient services to their elite customers. The purpose of our research work is carried out to unlock the significance that Pakistani banks are connected with this type of e-banking technology that is being implemented by the banks for providing the electronic services to the customers and in what extent this technology is relevant to customers. This research work will also help to determine whether the e-banking services are more efficient, accurate and rapid banking services.Vårt forskningsarbete är baserat på e-banking-teknik där kunderna kan få tillgång till mer exakt och snabbare banktjänster från det datoriserade banksystemet. Detta system har också antagits av internationella banker samt med lokala banker i Pakistan för att ge effektiv service till sina storkunder. Peran Internet Dalam Pembinaan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (Lksa) Prasejahtera Di Makassar

Makassar merupakan salah satu kota dengan tingkat pembangunan ekonomi yang pesat di Indonesia. Namun selain daripada itu, jumlah penduduk miskin di kota ini juga termasuk terbesar di Sulawesi selatan. Salah satunya berpusat di jalan sultan allauddin dimana Yayasan Al Abrar berdiri. Yayasan Al Abrar merupakan yayasan yang membawahi banyak kelompok sosial dari kalangan masyarakat tak mampu. Salah satu kelompok sosial yang membutuhkan perhatian pemerintah adalah Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Prasejahtera. LKSA prasejahtera adalah kelompok Ibu–Ibu dari anak berusia Balita yang memiliki masalah dengan kebutuhan gizi mereka. Balita yang masuk dalam kelompok ini berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu yang karena kondisi ekonomi keluarga mereka, para Balita ini mengalami hambatan dalam pertumbuhan dan pemenuhan gizi. Selama ini mereka bergantung dari kesadaran sosial masyarakat disekitar mereka untuk dapat membantu tumbuh kembang para Balita ini Olehkarena itu, sebuah website telah dibangun oleh tim pengabdian Unhas untuk LKSA. Pemanfaatan website ini akan menunjang pembinaan lembaga sosial anak prasejahtera sehingga mampu dikenal luas oleh masyarakat. Selain daripada itu, usaha usaha kecil oleh orang tua daripada Balita yang diasuh oleh lembaga ini juga akan ikut diperkenalkan di website mereka. Sehingga, usaha mereka mudah dipasarkan dan tidak membutuhkan modal yang besar. Kata kunci : website, internet, lembaga sosial
