カリーKARII縁起が良い, A GOOD OMEN
カリーKARII, 縁起が良い, A GOOD OMEN is a multimedia installation that consists of five sections: multiple screens with 3D printed sculptural pieces, Animation, the vertically bounded painting hanging from the ceiling, Styrofoam sculptures with paper scroll hanging above, and resin cast floats on a table with digital projection projected over. I use multimedia installations to reconstruct the fragments of Okinawan culture, memories, and history into a new and empowered identity. I aim to create a secret space where the past and present are intertwined and form a new positive path to celebrate the resilience of proud people and culture. This body of work addresses empowerment and a better future
The Rarita-Schwinger spin-3/2 equation in a nonuniform, central potential
The equations of motion for a massive spin-3/2 Rarita-Schwinger field in a
finite-range, central, Lorentz scalar potential are developed. It is shown that
the resulting density may not be everywhere positive definite.Comment: 9 pages, RevTe

Click and Go: Ensuring Smooth Access to Online Resources
As the percentage of holdings to which libraries provide electronic access increases, librarians also assume responsibility for a new type of material maintenance that wasn\u27t taught in library school. Dead links, regardless of the reason for the breakdown, frustrate users and hurt a library\u27s credibility to deliver access to needed information. By systematically reviewing web links in both the website and catalog, librarians can address broken links before anyone else discovers the
Issues and Trends in Collection Development for East Asian Legal Materials
The authors delineate the general policy and guidelines for developing foreign and transnational law collections in U.S. law libraries, and they analyze factors that shape East Asian collections, such as law libraries' preservation and digitization efforts and their related cost-efficiency, and the availability and quality of English translations. The authors then discuss the main sources for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese law
Hydrophobic Lurylamine Modified Heteropoly Acid as an Efficient and Recyclable Catalyst for the Hydrolysis Reaction in Aqueous Solution under Microwave
A new modified phosphotungstic acid (HPW) catalyst (HPW-catal) was synthesized b y a simple mixing method under ambient atmosphere and evaluated for the hydrolysis of sucrose and ethyl acetate under microwave irradiation. The as-synthesized catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and NH3-TPD, which proved that HPW was sucessfully modified with lurylamine and the catalyst still remains the Keggin structure. Significantly, the HPW-catal showed excellent catalytic hydrolysis perforance for the sucrose and ethyl acetate under microwave irradiation. Both of the reactions were studied over other solid acid catalysts, such as AM-15 and ZSM-5. At mild tempretures, the sucrose and ethyl acetate could be hydrolyzed into corresponding products. The maximum glucose yield and alcohol could reach 100% and 95%, respectively. The HPW-catal can be recycled and reused. The HPW-catal will provides new ideas for the modifying of heteropoly acids
Heteropoly Acid/Nitrogen Functionalized Onion‐like Carbon Hybrid Catalyst for Ester Hydrolysis Reactions
A novel heteropoly acid (HPA)/nitrogen functionalized onion‐like carbon (NOLC) hybrid catalyst was synthesized through supramolecular (electrostatic and hydrogen bond) interactions between the two components. The chemical structure and acid strength of the HPA/NOLC hybrid have been fully characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, IR spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, NH3 temperature‐programmed desorption and acid–base titration measurements. The proposed method for the fabrication of the HPA/NOLC hybrid catalyst is a universal strategy for different types of HPAs to meet various requirements of acidic or redox catalysis. The hydrophobic environment of NOLC effectively prevents the deactivation of HPA in an aqueous system, and the combination of uniformly dispersed HPA clusters and the synergistic effect between NOLC and HPA significantly promotes its activity in ester hydrolysis reactions, which is higher than that of bare PWA as homogeneous catalyst. The kinetics of the hydrolysis reactions indicate that the aggregation status of the catalyst particles has great influence on the apparent activity.Know your onion‐like carbon: A heteropoly acid (HPA)/nitrogen functionalized onion‐like carbon (NOLC) hybrid catalyst was successfully synthesized. The hydrophobic environment of NOLC effectively prevents the deactivation of HPA in an aqueous system, and the synergistic effect between NOLC and HPA significantly promotes its activity in hydrolysis reactions.Peer Reviewedhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/137551/1/asia201500944.pdfhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/137551/2/asia201500944-sup-0001-misc_information.pd
