    THE RELATION BETWEEN HUMAN, UNIVERSE AND GOD IN AHMAD FUADI’S NOVEL ANAK RANTAU

    Abstract            The nature of literature is beautiful and meaningful or in the other word is beautiful and teaching something. Studying literature is not only elaborating the beautiful string of word, sentence as the structure building of literary work. As the nature of literature, then, studying literature must touch into the revelation meaning beyond the text, revealing values, moral messages in literary work so the function of literature which is not mere giving pleasure  and entertaining. This study reveals relation between human, universe, and God portrayed in novel “Anak Rantau” by Ahmad Fuadi. This study analyzes texts using hermeneutic method. The relation between human, universe, and God means is how human supposed to behave toward universe which suits to the purpose of the human creation as “khalifah”  in the earth. The portrait of relation between human, universe,and God seems in some story extracts. The effort to return the seaside condition and environment in large which polluted by poison and fish bones in “gotongroyong” to clean seaside for returning the seaside function as giving benefit to human. In addition, the relation between human, universe, and God seems when universe becomes a teacher for human which alwaays obeys to the God decision. Keywords: the nature of literature, khalifah, human, universe, God Abstrak            Hakikat sastra adalah indah dan bermakna atau dengan kata lain indah dan mengajarkan sesuatu. Mengkaji sastra tidak cukup hanya mengurai keindahan rangkaian kata, kalimat sebagai unsur pembangun sebuah karya sastra. Sesuai dengan hakikatnya, maka Mengkaji sastra haruslah sampai pada mengungkap makna di balik teks, mengungkap nilai-nilai, pesan-pesan moral yang terkandung dalam sebuah karya sastra sehingga fungsi sastra yang tidak hanya sekedar memberi kesenangan dan menghibur semata bisa terungkap. Kajian ini mengungkap hubungan antara manusia, alam, dan Tuhan yang tergambar pada novel Anak Rantau karya Ahmad Fuadi.  Kajian ini menganalisis teks dari penggalan konflik dengan metode hermenutika. Hubungan antara manusia, alam dan Tuhan yang dimaksudkan adalah bagaimana seharusnya manusia berperilaku terhadap alam sesuai dengan tujuan penciptaannya sebagai khalifah di bumi. Potret hubungan antara manusia, alam dan Tuhan nampak pada beberapa penggalan cerita. Adanya upaya mengembalikan kondisi pantai dan lingkungan secara luas yang tercemar oleh racun dan bangkai-bangkai ikan dengan cara bergotongroyong menbersihkan pantai untuk mengembalikan fungsi pantai yakni memberi manfaat kepada manusia. Selain itu hubungan manusia, alam, dan Tuhan juga nampak ketika alam dijadikan guru oleh manusia yang selalu patuh pada hukum-hukum  Tuhan. Kata kunci: Hakikat sastra, khalifah, manusia, Alam, Tuhan

    VALUES OF CHARACTER EDUCATION IN LITERARY WORK (A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN HAMKA’S FALSAFAH HIDUP AND GIBRAN’S THE PROPHET)

    Abstract This study aims to find and to compare (similarities and differences)  values of character Education in literary works those are Falsafah Hidup by Hamka and The Prophet by Khalil Gibran. This study reveals values of character education beyond a literary work in order to give contribution to build human character. This study also gives information that literary work is not only display a beautiful string of word but it contains life  meaning, so literary work can be an alternative source for building human character. This study uses content analysis technique and comparative approach with coding sheet as the instrument.Falsafah Hidupand The Prophet as object of study. Data analysis starts from preparing data, defining unit of analysis, building coding sheet, coding, comparing, making conclusion, and reporting. Result of study shows there are 13 values of char4acter education in Falsafah Hidupand 11 values of character education in The Prophet. There are some same and different in value and both of these works focus on humanistic and social value. But some values in Falsafah Hidup are not found in The Prophet. The value is character toward nation. Values of character education in The Prophet are not refer to certain religion or faith. Differ than Falsafah Hidup, the values always relies on Al Qur’an and Hadits.Abstrak Nilai Pendidikan Karakter pada Karya Sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dan membandingkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada karya sastra Falsafah Hidup oleh Hamka dan The Prophet oleh Khalil Gibran. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pembentukan karakter manusia serta memberikan pengetahuan bahwa karya sastra bukan hanya menampilkan rangkaian kata-kata indah, namun juga makna hidup. Dengan demikian, karya sastra juga berfungsi untuk membangun karakter manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan, teknik analisis isi dan pendekatan komparatif dengan lembar pengkodean sebagai instrumennya. Falsafah Hidup dan The Prophet sebagai objek penelitian dimana analisis data dimulai dari mempersiapkan data, mendefinisikan, membuat lembar pengkodean, pengkodean, membandingkan, membuat kesimpulan, dan pelaporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 13 nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di Falsafah Hidup dan 11 nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam The Prophet. Kedua karya ini fokus pada nilai humanistik dan sosial, tapi beberapa nilai dalam falsafah Hidup tidak ditemukan dalam The Prophet, yaitu nilai karakter bangsa. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam The Prophet tidak mengacu pada agama atau kepercayaan tertentu. Berbeda dari Falsafah Hidup yang nilai-nilainya selalu bergantung pada Al Qur'an dan Hadits.

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan tipe-tipe muatan kecerdasan dalam film animasi ‘Dora the Explorer’ dan menjelaskan cara muatan kecerdasan tersebut disampaikan. Penelitian ini memberi informasi bahwa (1) film animasi ini bisa menjadi tontonan yang layak untuk anak, (2) seorang anak bisa cemerlanglebih dari satu tipe kecerdasan, (3) dan bahwa adalah penting untuk mengeksplor dan mengembangkan potensi kecerdasan anak melalui berbagai aktifitas yangbertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kecerdasan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan tekhnik analisis isi dengan lembar koding sebagai instrumen.Tiga seri filim ‘Dora the Explorer’ adalah subyek penelitian.Data analisis dimulai dari mempersiapkan data, menentukan unit analisis, membuat lembar koding, memberi kode, membuat kesimpulan dan melaporkan temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 9 tipe muatan kecerdasan pada setiap seri film  ‘Dora the Explorer’. Tipe kecerdasan tesebut adalah kecerdasan natural, musik, matematis, interpersonal, intrapersonal, kinestetik, bahasa, visual, dan eksistensi. Muatan kecerdasan pada tiga seri tersebut disampaikan dalam lakon yang berbeda.Lakon-lakon tersebut merupakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang merangsang perkembangan bakat potensi kecerdasan

The strategy aims to improve language skill, improve knowledge, reaching goals and encourage motivation. It is to promote critical, reflective thinking and evaluation skills that will help students to take positive action to protect, enhance and advocate for their learning. Lecturers use communicative personal and pedagogical capability to work collaboratively with their students in learning activities. The lecturers are hoped to bring and involve the students into a quality of better education. The research is synthesized into top five teaching strategies: apply method based on the material, have clear instruction and method, lead the students to the greater understanding, have adequate knowledge about their individual students, and build a good rapport with students

    A STUDY OF AL-QUR'AN TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES OF BUGINESE ELONG-ELONG (ECOCRITICAL APPROACH)

    This research aims to analyze environmental issues in Buginese elong-elong in terms of form and the  relationship between humans,  nature and God by using ecocritical theory. This research used qualitative approach to get an overview of integration with the interpretation of the Qur'an in Buginese elong-elong. This research used some instruments such as: documentation, questionnaire recording and guideline of focus group discussion (FGD). This research used content analysis technique with Miles and Hubberman theories in analyzing data. There are three steps in analyzing  data namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion after verification. Furthermore, the researchers got that nature element is implicitly contained in Buginese elong-elong. Ecocentric and theocentric are most forms occurred as the relationship between humans and nature. Keywords: Ecocritic; Elong-elong; buginese; Mursery Rhyme ستخلص البحثتهدف هذه المقالة إلى تحليل القضايا البيئية فى الغناء البوغيسيي (elong-elong ugi) منن حيث العلاقة بين الإنسان والطبيعة والله باستخدام النظرية ekokritik ثم يتم استخدام نهج نوعي للحصول على صورة تكامل معرفة التفسير القرآني لبوجيس الغناء البوغيسي. أما الأدوات المستخدمة فتكون من الوثائق وتسجيل الاستبيان ومناقشة مجموعة التركيز التوجيهية (FGD). تحليل محتوى باستخدام تقنية Miles and Huberman المستخدمة في تحليل البيانات. هناك ثلاث مراحل لتحليل البيانات وهي تقليل البيانات ، عرض البيانات ، استنتاجات. تم  اتتحقق الباحث ان فيالغناء عناصر العلم موجودة في الغناء البوغسيي اشاريا .  ، الباحثان تجدان ان اكثر ما وجد فى العلاقة البشرية والطبيعية هي ايكوكريتق (ekosentris) و تبوسنتري (theosentris) . الكلمات الرءيسية :  الغناء البوغسي، ايكوكريتق-  ،  غناء مقدمة للنوم ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis isu-isu lingkungan pada elong-elong Bugis dalam hal wujud  dan hubungan antara manusia, alam dan Tuhan dengan menggunakan teori ekokritik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran bentuk integrasi ilmu tafsir Al Qur’an dalam elong-elong Bugis. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa instrumen anatara lain: dokumentasi, pencatatan angket dan guideline focus group discussion (FGD). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Content Analysis dengan teori Miles dan Hubberman dalam analisis data. Ada tiga tahap analisis data yaitu: reduksi  data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan setelah diverifikasi. Selanjutnya, peneliti mendapatkan bahwa unsur alam terkandung secara tersirat dalam elong-elong Bugis. Ekosentris dan teosentris adalah bentuk yang paling banyak muncul terkait hubungan manusia dan alam.

    This study aims to find the value of character education in Novel ‘Calabai’ through students’ perception. This study also accustoms Literature students doing analysis and finding the surface and the latent meaning in a literary work. This study reveals that  literary work not only displays a beautiful word string but beyond it there are meanings of life education. This study uses descriptive qualitative method where this study described the results of students’ perception about character education in novel “Calabai”. Data resource of this research is the novel Calabai by Pepy Al Bayquni. Coding sheet is used to code or to take a note of four students’ overview, understanding, thinking or interpretation on values of character education in novel Calabai. Three stages of analyzing data: deconstruction, interpretation, and reconstruction. There are 91 data contains character education. The  91 data are spreaded into 32 values of  character education

    Using the sociological theory of literature, the researchers agreed to study Leo Tolstoy's novel Anna Karenina, which will bring on connections in the social arts. In a descriptive qualitative, the investigator uses note sheets as analysis methods to evaluate knowledge to illustrate how the tension of social significance and religious hegemony arise. After an overview of the results, Leo Tolstoy in Anna Karenina Novel concludes his research finding on the social conflict. The social role and religious hegemony were expected. A social role is also a pit for social participants in their unconsciousness, such that conflict becomes an inseparable aspect and obstacles between groups in the social order, and religious hegemony, which in human behavior is manifested as an important role in the social realm of humans, religious instruction.     Social Construction of The Elite in The Quran (Analysis of Term Al-Mala’)

    From a sociohistorical-anthropological perspective, the existence of an elite class with a class of people is known in the Qur’an. This research elaborates the verses of the Qur’an about elite society in social order. The existence of an elite society and its role in human civilization is the main concern in this study. Through the thematic interpretation method, typology and the role of elite society are explained. The terms prophet, apostle, malik, and al-mala’ refer to the elite.  Prophets and messengers are elite groups based on revelation, malik based on political power relations. The term al-mala’ is part of an elite society divided into three groups, namely al-mala’, which opposes the apostles, al-mala’, which does not oppose the da’wah of the apostles, and al-mala’ which has a hypocritical character. Da’wah and education carry the regeneration mission for the birth of new elites who are partners in the benefit. As for the opponents of da’wah and the elite who are hypocritical in character, they must be anticipated so as not to cause chaos, crisis, and crime
