Vitamin D as One of Predicators of the Stable Viral Response to Antiviral Therapy in Patients with Chronis Hepatitis С
Chronic hepatitis C (CHC) it is not exceptionally medical problem but a significant social and economic threat, taking into account the unfavorable consequences of this disease: cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. And as a result - the high level of disability. In the article are presented the results of examination of 41 patients with chronic hepatitis C, with 1 genotype, who received the antiviral therapy (AVT). All patients underwent determination of the level of 5-hydroxycholeсalсeferol (25-OH vit D3), vitamin D and also the study of IL-28B polymorphism as the one of predicators of response to AVT. It was demonstrated, that in patients with hepatitis was observed the deficit of 25-OH vit D3 and general vitamin D. It was established, that in patients with the normal 25-OH vit D3 level SVR (stable viral response) was observed in 1,4 times more often than in patients with deficit of 25-OH vit D3. That is the level of 25-OH vit D3 can be considered as a predicator of SVR to AVT
The different faces of branes in Double Field Theory
We show how the Wess-Zumino terms of the different branes in string theory can be embedded within double field theory. Crucial ingredients in our construction are the identification of the correct brane charge tensors {and the use of the} double field theory potentials that arise from dualizing the standard double field theory fields. This leads to a picture where under T-duality the brane does not change its worldvolume directions but where, instead, it shows different faces depending on whether some of the worldvolume and/or transverse directions invade the winding space. As a non-trivial by-product we show how the different Wess-Zumino terms are modified when the brane propagates in a background with a non-zero Romans mass parameter. Furthermore, we show that for non-zero mass parameter the brane creation process, when one brane passes through another brane, gets generalized to brane configurations that involve exotic branes as well
Isometries of five-branes and T-duality
© The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2018. T-duality chain starting from the NS5-brane is known to generate exotic backgrounds. These have been described as a DFT background whose orientation in the doubled space defines specific 10-dimensional solutions. The focus of this letter is at isometries of the corresponding background, their relation to the NS five-brane charge and the section constraint of DFT. This letter is based on the talk presented by the author at the conference QUARKS'18
Exotic branes in Double Field Theory
© 2016 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences. The non-geometric Q- and R-monopole are shown to be a particular case of the DFT-monopole solution. The notion of magnetic charge for the solutions is defined and shown to be equal to the magnetic charge of the NS5-brane solution. This is a talk presented by the author at the conference QUARKS'16 in St.-Petersburg
O(d+1, d+1) enhanced double field theory
© 2017, The Author(s). Double field theory yields a formulation of the low-energy effective action of bosonic string theory and half-maximal supergravities that is covariant under the T-duality group O(d, d) emerging on a torus T d . Upon reduction to three spacetime dimensions and dualisation of vector fields into scalars, the symmetry group is enhanced to O(d+1, d+1). We construct an enhanced double field theory with internal coordinates in the adjoint representation of O(d + 1, d + 1). Its section constraints admit two inequivalent solutions, encoding in particular the embedding of D = 6 chiral and non-chiral theories, respectively. As an application we define consistent generalized Scherk-Schwarz reductions using a novel notion of generalized parallelization. This allows us to prove the consistency of the truncations of D = 6, N= (1 1) and D = 6, N= (2 0) supergravity on AdS 3 × S 3
Non-geometric branes are DFT monopoles
© 2016, The Author(s).The double field theory monopole solution by Berman and Rudolph is shown to reproduce non-geometric backgrounds with non-vanishing Q- and R-flux upon an appropriate choice of physical and dual coordinates. The obtained backgrounds depend non-trivially on dual coordinates and have only trivial monodromies. Upon smearing the solutions along the dual coordinates one reproduces the known 522 solution for the Q-brane and co-dimension 1 solution for the R-brane. The T-duality invariant magnetic charge is explicitly calculated for all these backgrounds and is found to be equal to the magnetic charge of (unsmeared) NS5-brane
A New Low-Noise Avalanche Photodiode With Micro-Pixel Structure
A new design of the avalanche photodiodes with an array of micro-pixel p-n-junctions was developed on base of metal-oxide-silicon
structure. The thermal oxide layer of 1000A thickness contains tunnel oxide regions with about 25A thickness. The device exhibits a noise
factor ~ 4 at a high multiplication factor (M~10000). A high space uniformity of sensitivity was found for gain of M~ 1000
Comments on QED with background electric fields
It is well known that there is a total cancellation of the
\emph{factorizable} IR divergences in unitary interacting field theories, such
as QED and quantum gravity. In this note we show that such a cancellation does
not happen in QED with background electric fields which can produce pairs.
There is no factorization of the IR divergences.Comment: 14 pages, 1 figur
El uso de un enfoque estructural-institucional para el análisis del desarrollo de un complejo económico regional
Enhancement of efficiency and competitiveness of the industrial complex requires changing the existing methods and improving the used methods for forming and implementing industrial policy. Particularly acute is the task of ridding the industrial enterprises of the dependence on foreign technologies and components and the transition to total import substitution under the sanctions of the Western powers and the United States of America.
