The  purpose  of  the study. The aim of the study is to identify particular tactics that enhance the intrinsic motivation and engagement of students in online training activities. Materials and methods. This article presents the outcomes of a training programme that combined e-learning and blended learning on the Moodle platform. The programme involved 90 sports technicians and utilised a cooperative teaching approach, benchmarking, and the forum as the primary teaching resource. Results. The findings of the experiment demonstrate the significant influence that the instructor plays in the advancement of training initiatives, alongside the design of the platform and the resources provided. This demonstrates that the forum, enquiries, tasks, and databases receive more visitors compared to the presentations, videos, and complementing articles. Conclusions. In this experience, it is important to emphasize the significance of the Moodle platform and its resources as effective means of communication and learning for both students and instructors

Design and control of parallel three phase voltage source Inverters in low voltage AC microgrid

    Get PDF
Design and hierarchical control of three phase parallel Voltage Source Inverters are developed in this paper. The control scheme is based on synchronous reference frame and consists of primary and secondary control levels. The primary control consists of the droop control and the virtual output impedance loops. This control level is designed to share the active and reactive power correctly between the connected VSIs in order to avoid the undesired circulating current and overload of the connected VSIs. The secondary control is designed to clear the magnitude and the frequency deviations caused by the primary control. The control structure is validated through dynamics simulations. The obtained results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control structure

Managing substitutive and complementary technologies in cultural institutions: Market/mission perspectives

    Get PDF
Digitalization and artificial intelligence are changing modern business organizations. New technologies help to analyze business environment, track customers, control work performance and improve prod-ucts. The aforementioned phenomenon has received considerably little attention in current literature on culture management. Our goal is to find (1) what types of technologies are used by cultural institutions (CIs) and (2) for what reason. The hypothesis of the article is that CIs use various technologies and tools. Websites, leaflets and audiovisual materials of 139 CIs around the world (theaters, art galleries, opera houses, museums) were analyzed. It was found that CIs use both complementary (CT) as well as substitutive technologies (ST) for managerial and mission-oriented purposes. In our article, the matrix of technologies used by CIs is proposed. Our findings suggest that CIs adapt to changing technological environment by implementing tools that support them in the mission’s fulfillment and management. Moreover, new technologies are used by CIs as both employees’ reinforcement as well as their replace-ment

A new species of Diaphorocleidus (Monogenea: Ancyrocephalinae) from the gills of Argonectes robertsi (Characiformes) and new records of dactylogyrids parasitic on fishes from the Xingu River, Amazon Basin, Brazil

ABSTRACT Diaphorocleidus altamirensis sp. nov., parasitic on the gills of Argonectes robertsi Langeani, 1999 from the Xingu River, northern Brazil, is described. The new species differs from its six congeners by the morphology of the male copulatory organ (which comprises a coil of six rings), by the midventral vagina, and by the presence of only one pair of eyespots. It is the first species of Diaphorocleidus Jogunoori, Kritsky & Venkatanarasaiah, 2004 described from hemiodontid fishes. In addition, new host and geographical records of seven species of dactylogyrids found on fish from the Xingu River are reported
