Efectes de la criopreservació en oòcits i embrions de diferents espècies

El procés de congelacié/descongelacié de gametes i embrions, i també les manipulacions prèvies i posteriors, poden implicar alteracions en les cèl·lules sotmeses al procés. Els estudis realitzats sobre els efectes de la congelació es realitzen a partir de la supervivència, de l'estudi cromosòmic, de l'estudi ultrastructural i de l'estudi del desenvolupament cel·lular posterior a la descongelació. Aquests estudis mostren que el gran d'alteracions que el procés pot implicar depèn de l'espècie amb què es treballa, del tipus cel·lular i del mètode de congelació que s'utilitza. En aqest treball es recullen les dades publicades sobre el tema, i es dóna una visió general de l'impacte que té la tècnica sobre els oòcits i els embrions de diferents espècies.Gametes and cell-embryos submited to freezing and thawing methods can be affected by the process. Studies on effects produced by freezing procedures have been made focusing on surviving, cytogenetics, ultrastructure and cellular development after thawing. These studies show that the induced alterations depend on the species, the kind of cell and the freezing method used. This work is a review about the results obtained after freezing and thawing oocytes and embryos from different mammalian species

Turvapaikkatutkinnan sanasto

Asioimistulkkauksen koulutusohjelma, Tulkki (AMK) Kaksikielisten sanastojen puutteen vuoksi, varsinkin kieliparilla suomi-persia, tunsin tarvetta sanaston laatimiseen. Opinnäytetyö on kehittämispainotteinen eli toiminnallinen, jonka tuloksena syntyy uusi tuote. Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tehdä suppea turvapaikkatutkinnan sanasto työkielissä suomi-persia-englanti. Sanasto voi auttaa persian- ja darinkielistä tulkkia valmistautumisessa toimeksiantoihin. Uudistetun asioimistulkkien ammattisäännöstön viidennen kohdan mukaan valmistautumisella tarkoitetaan sitä, että tulkin on perehdyttävä tulkkausaiheeseen ja sen edellyttämään sanastoon ja terminologiaan molemmilla työkielillä. Opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli helpottaa persian ja darin kielen tulkkien työtä turvapaik-katutkinnassa ja auttaa heitä välittämään viestiä paremmin vaikeista termeistä huolimatta. Opinnäytetyössä aineistona on käytetty Suomen maahanmuuttoviraston kotisivuilla olevaa sanastoa ja pakolaisneuvonnan ja maahanmuuttoviraston yhteistyössä julkistamaa Opas tulkeille -kirjan sanastoa. Sanastoa laadin ensin keräämällä suomenkielisiä termejä ja myöhemmin etsimällä niiden vastineita persiaksi ja englanniksi. Aineisto koostu 157 suomenkielisestä termistä ja niiden vastineista persian ja englannin kielellä. Sanastosta on hyötyä tulkeille, kääntäjille ja opiskelijoille, jotka työskentelevät maahanmuuttoalalla tai ovat muutenkin kiinnostuneita tästä aiheesta. Degree Programme in Community Interpreting, Degree: Interpreter Due to the lack of multilingual glossaries especially in the language pairs of Finnish- Persian, it was necessary to draft a glossary in the field of migration. Aim of this thesis was to make a concise asylum investigation glossary in language pairs of Finnish-Persian-English, which could help Persian and Dari language interpreters in preparing for their assignments. The purpose of this thesis was to facilitate Persian and Dari language interpreters' work in asylum investigation field and help them to forward the messages better, despite the tough terms. The thesis material consisted of glossary of Finnish immigration website and glossary of Interpretation in the asylum processes which were published by collaboration of the Finnish Immigration and Refugee advice centre. I found 157 terms. The glossary was compiled first by collecting Finnish terms and later looking for their equivalents in Persian and English. A glossary is useful for all Persian and Dari language interpreters, translators and students who work and study in the field of immigration or are otherwise interested in this topic

Verkostoitumalla alkuun haastavalla maantiekuljetusalalla

Opinnäytetyö on tehty toimeksiantona maantiekuljetusyrityksen perustamista harkitsevalle henkilölle. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää millainen merkitys verkostoitumisella on aloittavalle kuljetusyrittäjälle haastavalla maantiekuljetusalalla. Tämän lisäksi tutkimus tarjoaa tarpeellista tietoa maantiekuljetusalan tämän hetkisestä tilanteesta Suomessa. Tutkimuksen alussa selvitetään verkostoitumista yritystoiminnassa sekä maantiekuljetusalaa. Luvussa 2 keskitytään verkostoitumisen merkitykseen yritystoiminnassa sekä sen luomiin mahdollisuuksiin, riskeihin ja haasteisiin. Luvussa 3 perehdytään maantiekuljetusalan kuljetuslajeihin, säädöksiin, kustannuksiin, taloudelliseen tilanteeseen, tulevaisuuden näkymiin, toimintaan Uudellamaalla sekä alan verkostoitumiseen. Tutkimus on toteutettu laadullisena tutkimuksena syksyn 2014 ja kevään 2015 aikana. Työn aineistonkeruumenetelmänä käytettiin teemahaastattelua. Haastattelut on tehty neljän kuljetusalan yrittäjän ja yhden alan toimihenkilön kanssa. Haastattelut tehtiin helmi-maaliskuussa 2015, ja haastatteluaineiston purkaminen ja analysointi tapahtui maalis-huhtikuussa 2015. Tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta verkostoitumisen olevan lähes välttämätöntä aloitta-valle yrittäjälle maantiekuljetusalalla. Tutkimuksessa selvisi myös alihankinnan ja KTK- tyyppisten verkostojen olevan yleisimmät verkostomuodot alalla

Polymorphic organization of constitutive heterochromatin in Equus asinus (2n = 62) chromosome 1

In the karyotype of Equus asinus (domestic donkey, 2n = 62), non-centromeric heterochromatic bands have been described in subcentromeric and telomeric positions. In particular, chromosome 1 is characterised by heterochromatic bands in the proximal region of the long arm and in the short arm; it has been shown that these regions are polymorphic in size. Here we investigated the variation in the intensity and distribution of fluorescence signals observed on donkey chromosome 1 after in situ hybridization with two DNA probes containing fragments from the two major equine satellite DNA families. Our results show that, in Equus asinus chromosome 1, the amount and distribution of large clusters of satellite DNA can define at least nine polymorphic variants of the constitutive heterochromatin that cannot be detected by C-banding alone
