SOURCES OF IMPROVEMENT OF USERS' COMPETENCIES WHILE CLOUD SOLUTIONS ARE BEING INTRODUCED INTO MANUFACTURING COMPANIES
Purpose: The research question posed for this study concerns ways of acquiring new competencies by employees, necessary in the new situation and necessary in the face of a change in the organization which is the implementation of cloud solutions for everyday work.Methodology: The questionnaire in the form of CATI survey (computer-assisted telephone interviewing) were directed to 50 212 companies, the return was from 400 firms.Findings: The results of the conducted research indicate that the most commonly used method is the training of key users (used in 59.25% of the 400 companies surveyed). Moreover, according to this study the dependence between company size and method used by the company of gaining a competences while introducing cloud computing to daily routines does not exist.Limitations: Respondents only in 9 out of 400 cases indicated other sources of acquiring competences than those indicated by researchers. If may be either a poor repertoire of methods used by companies for raising qualifications or reluctance in filling in the questionnaire. Further research is needed.Value of the paper: Cloud computing (ICT) offers companies new opportunities and introduces a change in the way they conduct business. This change, although it seems to be only a technological change, influences the change of the company's processes and organization itself. The competences of the employees must also change. Answering the question about their source helps to determine whether the transfer to the cloud was prepared.Paper type: Research pape

The civil service and broader the public administration, should be more often the domain of
managers, politicians apart from lawyers. Classically, the public management has adopted
a hierarchical basis, the slim organizational structure with many levels and a small span of
management – commonly called a bureaucratic. Currently, the term 'bureaucracy' is a synonym for
lazy, inefficient, although it originally meant specialization, formalization, centralization, and the
continuity of tasks. The purpose of this article is therefore to compare approaches to the
administrative department – the bureaucratic and managerial one. There is also the attempt to
identify the Polish position on the background of the European Union in this regard

Among others there are two instruments of communication between organization and its
surrounding that happen to be mixed up – the public relations and advertisement. The aim of this
paper is to introduce and present these communication instruments taking into consideration only
the positive aspects of them. The main objective is to concentrate and to compare PR and
advertisement according to chosen by author communication criteria
Fungi inhabiting the aboveground organs of downy willow (Salix lapponum L.) and swamp willow (Salix myrtilloides L.)
The species of downy willow (Salix lapponum) and swamp willow (Salix myrtilloides) are extremely rare relicts among all members of the genus Salix. In Poland, they occur only in the eastern part of the Karkonosze Mountains, Masurian Lake District, and Polesie Lubelskie area. A huge threat to both species is the drainage of peat bogs and their excessive exploitation as well as diseases caused by bacteria and fungi. The present study aimed identify fungal species colonizing the aboveground organs of plants with disease symptoms and to indicate which species may pose a threat towards S. lapponum and S. myrtilloides growing under natural conditions. This research was conducted in Polesie National Park as a part of a research project by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Plant health assessments were carried out in natural habitats, while aboveground organs with disease symptoms were collected for laboratory mycological analysis. Colletotrichum salicis (teleomorph Glomerella salicis), Coniothyrium concentricum, Cylindrosporium salicinum, Phomopsis spp., Truncatella angustata, and Cytospora chrysosperma (teleomorph Valsa sordida) were the fungal species most frequently isolated from leaves and shoots of both willow species. The above-mentioned fungi are dangerous plant pathogens from the family Salicaceae. There were no obligatory parasites or monophagous pathogens on the aboveground organs of downy or swamp willow. Obligatory parasites may indicate a markedly low population of host plants in Polish conditions

W opracowaniu połączono zagadnienie elastyczności organizacyjnej z procesami komunikowania. Głównym celem było stworzenie zarysu koncepcji zatorów komunikacyjnych w organizacji. Osadzono je na gruncie podejścia systemowego do organizacji ze względu na to, że pozwala ono uwzględniać wzajemne wpływy i zależności zarówno w poszczególnych jej podsystemach, jak i między nimi oraz organizacją i jej otoczeniem. W związku z powyższym przedstawiono pojęcie elastyczności organizacji oraz szczegółowo opisano zjawisko komunikacyjnego zatoru w organizacji
Internal communication satisfaction while remote work : the organizational culture perspective
PURPOSE: The purpose of this article is to answer the question whether the Organizational
Culture Affect Communication Satisfaction in Remote and Hybrid Work Settings.DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: In this study two stages of methodology were applied with
the systematic literature review as the first one and second data collection (N=701) by the
means of a quantitative research. Two already verified, reliable questionnaires were adopted
- OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument developed by Cameron and Quinn
1999) for the company culture assessment and the CSQ (Communication Satisfaction
Questionnaire developed by Downs and Hazen 1977) for assessing the communication
satisfaction evaluation, both in remote and hybrid settings.FINDINGS: The results presented show differences in communication satisfaction depending
on perceptions of organizational culture in remote and hybrid work. Perceived
organizational culture affects communication satisfaction ratings, but in differently across
each of dimensions assessed. The highest satisfaction scores were reported by employees
assessing their organization culture as Clan, slightly smaller was reported by those
assessing the culture as Adhocracy, next Hierarchy and the lowest satisfaction was shown by
those who rated the organization culture as Market. Employees rating their organization
culture as Clan are more satisfied than others show greater satisfaction in six of the eight
dimensions.PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: Managers seeking to improve the communication satisfaction of their
employees should simultaneously work on improving communication – which seems obvious
– but also on organizational culture. Introducing elements of the e.g., clan culture into the
daily remote or hybrid activities of employees will increase their satisfaction with
communication. Having that in mind managers would influence culture change more
attentively.ORIGINALITY/VALUE: This study measures how much are employees satisfied with
communication while working in remote or hybrid conditions with relation to organizational
culture as they perceived it. In the remote work condition, when communication media are
similar, the organizational culture has important influence on emploeeys communication
